Pet Partner

Kirby doesn't go on his adventures alone... sometimes. The creampuff combats great evil with the help of some furry, finned, or feathered friends Rick, Kine, Coo, and then Nago, Pitch, and Chuchu. Each one helped Kirby get through levels, cracked open puzzles, changed the way he traveled, and modified his copied powers. They added a new dimension to gameplay.

Hey, wait a sec. This sounds familiar. Wasn't there already an If You Could Make an Animal Friend for Interactive Fandom? Quite right, imaginary questioner. That was the first one, tho', when IF was even less publicized and functional, if you can believe it. That was a year and a half ago, and there wasn't even Dream Land 3 on Virtual Console to remind people what Animal Friends even were. For a feature absent from titles for over a decade, the masses probably wouldn't be aware of them. Well, times have changed and IFers have only improved (hopefully), so once again...

If you could make a pet partner, what would it be? With just six bestial buddies, there's plenty of ground to cover.
