Krone the Angler

- From Yellow Kirby on May 21st, 2010

This powerful angler looks pretty fierce, but he's actually really nice. His best terrain is water, but on land he can still move. He can be used to light up dark areas, too. Any type of Kirby will sit on his tail to ride. He can chomp up to twice in the air to go higher. His regular jumps aren't too good.

Any enemy that makes contact with his teeth will take a bit of damage. About 2 hits of Krone's teeth can defeat a regular enemy. This isn't really useful on bosses. To get an ability, Krone tosses the enemy with his lure in a clockwise direction into Kirby's mouth. With clean Krone can shoot parts of vacuum cleaners that he ate, mistaken for his favorite meal, fried drumsticks, at high enemies to do damage. With cutter Krone can launch his lure, like a regular cutter attack to do damage, however this lure will not disappear after hitting an enemy. Instead, it continues until a distance. Then it goes back on Krone's head where it should be. For fire, Krone will go diagonally upwards while burning. This is almost like Coo, but he goes diagonally downwards. For Ice, Krone's lure will freeze. Any enemy who makes contact with the frozen lure will freeze. For needle, Kirby will use his regular needle attack, but it will hurt Krone and he'll run for 3 seconds, hitting any enemy that he touches while he is dashing. For parasol, Kirby will throw his parasol around Krone to hit enemies. For spark, Krone's lure will spark up to do damage to any enemy that touches him. For Stone, KIrby will use his regular stone, but Krone will fall with him just like a regular stone ability.

Chocolate the Monkey

- From Gokirbster on May 15th, 2010

Chocolate looks simply like a brown monkey. Its tail is actually more helpful than its arms and legs. Kirby rides him by grabbing on to his tail and holding on while Chocolate moves. When Chocolate must use his tail, Kirby jumps on to his back until Chocolate is done using his tail, then Kirby grabs on to it again.

Chocolate can not float when he jumps. He can do a triple jump like Nago, and he can grab onto hooks in the wall or on the ceiling with his tail. He can swim as fast as Kine, but can't swim against strong currents. To have Kirby inhale, ne throws Kirby towards an enemy with his tail. When Kirby has somthing in his mouth, Chocolate grabs him and pulls him back to him with his tail. Kirby, when Chocolate isn't moving, can swallow or spit out what's in his mouth.

Chocolate is a playful monkey that is actually stupid at times. He loves to play pranks, and his best friends (other then Kirby) are ChuChu and Pitch.

Chocolate's copy abilities are actually better than Pitch's. Here's a list of some of his abilities.

Fire/Burning: Chocolate becomes completeley covered in fire. He is almost invincible and dashes around at max speed until he comes in contact with water.

Needle: Kirby turns into a spikeball and Chocolate spins him around his body using his tail. Chocolate is only vulnerable on the head and (0.o) butt.

Stone: This is basically like Nago's parasol ability, except Kirby turns into a stone, and Chocolate uses him like a spring.

Spark: This is basically a mix of Pitch's spark ability and the spark and spark combo ability from Kirby 64. Chocolate remote controls an invincible Kirby, covered with the spark force field you get when you mix spark and spark in Kirby 64.

Parasol: This is a mix of Coo and Kine's parasol ability. Chocolate grows a parasol on his back and spins around like Tornado Kirby. When he stops spinning, he floats around gently. He is completeley invincible when he spins AND when he floats.

Ice: This is just Nago's ice ability, but instead of shooting snowballs, you shoot huge icicles that act as platforms when you land.

These are only a few of Chocolate's abilities.

Zi the Kiwi

- From lolz on May 12th, 2010

Zi is a brown kiwi with a yellow beak and feet. Kirby rides on top of his feathers. Zi has a strange way of eating things. Kirby switches places where Zi's head is and inhales. Zi is more of a powerhouse and not the best swimmer. Like Nago he can jump 3 times in midair.

clean-Zi gets 3 air freshers one in his mouth two in his feet and one in Kirby's mouth. Zi shoots the air fresher in every direction.

spark-Sparks go all over Zi's body as he shoots a giant spark.

fire-Zi dashes forward with flames all over his body his beak stuck out and Kirby blasting fire behind him.

cutter-Zi stands up and Kirby goes into the middle of Zi's body and shoots cutters in every direction

spike-Spikes come out of his body as he is jabbing thin air with his beak (its like pitch+spike but he dosen't move and his body sprouts spikes.)

ice-Zi puts his head on top of his body. Kirby stands on his head and there body turns into a snowman! While this happens Zi blasts ice.

stone-Zi turns into a rock so does Kirby and Zi falls to the ground beak first

parasol-a parasol comes where Zi's beak is and Kirby blows at it propelling them forward.

Ruby the Rabbit

- From harumph on May 7th, 2010

Ruby has a round white head with bright yellow fluff around her face. Her long bunny ears have two pink bows. Her body is oval shaped with more yellow fluff. She has short stubby hands and feet. She holds Kirby above her head between her ears. She is a good runner, and the best at jumping. To inhale, she holds Kirby in front of her and he inhales.

1-Burning: Kirby turns into a ball of fire, and then releases the ball of fire when the button is pressed again.

2-Ice: Kirby spits an icicle, which will freeze enemies

3-Spark: Ruby will fire a magnet, it moves horizontally until directly above or below an enemy, then it turns at a 90 degree angle to hit it. (this was taken form Megaman 3)

4-Parasol: With Kirby holding the Parasol above them, Zoe jumps up to large heights, harming whatever they hit (this is like the Hi-Jump ability)

5-Needle: Kirby dismounts, and ruby's ears become covered with spikes, and snap together like a bear trap.

6-Stone: Kirby turns into a rock, and ruby continues holding him until he turns back. She can still walk, but is greatly slow (as slow as metal is in Squeak squad). If ruby jumps, she will create a shockwave on the ground.

Psypno the Ghost

- From Airride_Master on May 6th, 2010

Psypno, the Ghost is purple. Not Red-purple, or Blue-Purple, it's BRIGHT purple. He has two glowing Yellow swirls for eyes, and has a stereotypical Jack o' Lantern Mouth, that is ALSO bright yellow. He has Kirby arms and legs, but they look like half of them were torn off, leaving spikes instead of a curve. He's a little bigger than Kirby. Kirby Rides on his back (?) Psypno automatically floats in the air. He 'inhales' enemys by putting them inside of him by going on them. He can only hold one enemy at a time, and only go over enemys while holding the attack button.

Fire-Psypno shoots Fire balls out of his hands.

Ice-He twirls around,spreading icicles everywhere.

Stone-Slams Kirby on the ground, making an earthquake.

Parasol-two parasol heads come out of his hands, as he thrusts them outwards.

Needle-Thrusts hands into ground, and needles go up in a wave in front of Psypno.

Clean-Psypno becomes a bubble with kirby inside. When he pop, and dangerous fluid goes everywhere, 'Cleaning' up enemies and dirt.

Cutter-Psypno's spikes turn into claws, and he clutches the ground. upon pressing the attack button again, he flings himself through the air, as a liv-err, ghostly cutter, and then clutching the ground again. You can stop this attack by jumping.

Shadow the Wolf

- From Ghost the kirby on May 4th, 2010

Shadow is a loner but has a soft spot for Kirby. His ancestry allows him to add extra power to Kirby or himself when one is low on health. Shadow is the size of a fire lion when he stands on two legs and the size of rick on four legs. Shadow just picks up Kirby and bounces him along the level.

NOTE: not all abilities on the picture are listed!!!

Fire: Shadow picks up Kirby and makes multiple fireball ammo from him and throws the fireball Kirbys at enemies (great for bosses and if you have low health, cus you can go a far distance with shadows throwing)

Cutter: Shadow's claws grow long and sharp, and when Kirby pulls his tail, his claws go in a circular motion towards enemies

Fly/wing: Shadow gets 2 wings out of his back and flies at full speed at his enemies, shooting sharp feathers (i wasn't paying attention that i drew a propeler >.<) when he's falling from injuries, he flaps his tail for regaining lift and balance.

Ice: This has two options! throw Kirby as a HUGE block of ice, or shadow's tail turns to ice and uses it to freeze the enemies with a tail whip.

Clean: Shadow and Kirby get back-to-back and pull out huge water guns. then spin, spraying powerful water, at their enemies.

Crash: Kirby and shadow ingest a crash bomb and then explode, hitting all the enemies in that area (Great for bosses!)

Ori the Chameleon

- From Kiroscarby on May 3rd, 2010

Ori is the newest friend that enter into the group of the Animal Friends. He is very friendly and kind but his negative point is that he is very jealous, if Kirby choose another animal friend he become angry with him.

He has green scales in all his body, ones are clear green and are in the bottom part of his body and the rest are green and are in his head, body and tail. He has brown spots in all his body, they help him to create a better camouflage, in each one of his legs has two fingers in the front part and other finger in the back part all of they with white claws. He has a white horn, his eyes are green and his tail is rolled.

When Kirby ride on him, Kirby rides on his back. When they are together Kirby doesn't inhale the enemies, Ori uses his large tongue to knot and eat them. Ori can't eat heavy enemies, when he eats an enemy he keep him into his mount and his cheeks grows to the triple size of his normal size, after he can decide between shoot him or swallow him. He can crouch himself and Kirby crouch himself too, Ori can jump only one time, he can run, he can swim (he moves slower into the water) and he has two special techniques: Ori can climb walls and ceilings with his claws (when he climbs he becomes slower than when he walks) and when he gets an ability his color change for the color of the ability.

Note: If you use an ability when Ori is climbing he will fall from the ceiling or the wall that he is climbing.

Fire: Kirby draws a plate with Super Spicy Curry and after he eats it, Kirby becomes hot and his heat is passed to Ori, Ori focuses this heat in his mount and when he become overhot Ori shoots it in a form of comet that burns all in its way. Ori changes his color for red.

Ice: Kirby shoots a little ice crystal from his mount and it thrusts in the floor, when it is ingrain it grows to the double of its normal size and Ori starts to blow on it. His blow creates a wave that freeze all in its way and the wave finish when the screen finish too. If Ori uses this attack next to a wall the freezing wave climbs the wall and freeze all in its way. Ori changes his color for blue.

Cutter: Ori unrolls his tail and grabs Kirby with it, Kirby becomes in a edge blade. After, Ori moves his tail with Kirby in it to create a big slash with his edge, before the slash Kirby reunites energy and after the slash he shoots it in a form of "Sword Beam". Ori changes his color for darker green.

Spark: Ori unrolls his tail and grabs Kirby with it, Kirby transforms in a Lamp. Ori only holds Kirby in front of him, the light that Kirby issues attracts any enemy that see the light, if they touch the lamp they are electrocuted. The light can illuminate dark rooms and it continues until you finish to hold the button. Ori changes his color for yellow.

Stone: Kirby transforms in a Rock, Ori compress his tail to make it harder and after Ori throws Kirby to the opponents, when Kirby clash with the floor he starts to bounce to Ori, he bounces 3 times before to return to Ori's back and in the last bounce Kirby become normal to finish sit in Ori's back. Ori changes his color for brown.

Needle: Ori's horn starts to grow to triple of its normal size and it starts to spin too. This causes that it changes into a drill that is able dig in the ground to create holes. With changes his color for orange. The attack continues until that you finish to hold the button and when you stop to hold the button the horn is launched as a missile.

Clean: Ori unrolls his tail and grabs Kirby with it, Kirby transforms in a Ring that have water in middle of it. After, Ori starts to blow through of the ring and Kirby starts to shoot many bubbles. Ori changes his color for purple. The attack continues until you finish to hold the button.

Parasol: Kirby draws the Parasol and he starts to try to open it. When he open it both are launched up by the impulse that Kirby's Force creates. In the moment that the impulse appears it create two stars that are spinning around of they, they create a protector shield that protects them during the attack. With the impulse Ori jumps higher than before. Also, when the move finish Kirby rise the Parasol and it can be used as a Parachute. Ori changes his color for pink.

Note: All abilities work under water, although they become slower than before.

Yuki jumps by first throwing Kirby, then jumping near Kirby so he can back onto Yuki. To get powers, Yuki will spin around and lash his tail in front of him and what he hits, he gets. Now for the abilities.

Clean: Yuki spits out a cleaning wipe onto the enemy's head, and well, I'm guessing that would do some eye damage.

Cutter: Yuki bears his teeth and they shoot forward.

Spark: Yuki shoots 3 sparks in any diagonal direction, the bottom ways making him jump a bit.

Cassandra the Unicorn

- From Rooshy on May 1st, 2010

Cassandra will accelerate slowly while walking and when fast enough can run on water for up to 5 seconds. She does a single jump that is higher the faster she is going. When the duo inhales, Cassandra will grab the enemy with her horn and fling it backwards, and Kirby/Gooey will eat it. Cassandra does not slip on ice. IF Entry

Indy the Armadillo

- From Kirbster98 on April 27th, 2010

Indy is pretty small armadillo who is colored mostly blue and black and sports cool sunglasses for some odd reason. Don't worry, he's not anything out of ordinary armadillo, by sporting eight turquoise armor belts on his black belly, little long nose and small ears. It's limbs are short, but the tail makes up for them by it's length that covers almost the size of Indy.

Kirby can carry Indy on his head: while doing so, Indy can protect Kirby from almost any attack by holding Down to lay his armor flat over Kirby and covering itself. It acts like a natural helmet!

Kirby's movements don't change much when Indy's used, so Kirby can use it when there's a lot of projectile hazard, like in glacier caves. Also Kirby will always headbutt on enemies head without the need of start lag when falling from the air. (Like when falling from somewhere high)

Indy loves cliche stuff as it's old-fashioned, so beware for some dry and punny names coming ahead. Sometimes his sunglasses blink stereotypically.

Burn = Bursts Of Sun.

Kirby squats as Indy's armor turns into a volcano and erupts loudly. The lava rock's shoot upwards only, but you can hold attack button to charge the eruption. Do it too long and the explosion damages Kirby.

Clean = Magic Trash Can

Indy turns into a walking trash can. Kirby can ride on it, though little slow. The trash can has paper balls, rotten food, scrapped metal accessory bits, and sometimes explosives! Kirby can also hide into it by holding down again.

Parasol = Parasol Toy

Indy wraps around the metal pole of the Parasol and his tail will stick out. Kirby pulls it very fast and sends the parasol spinning away like a top! The parasol keeps plummeting enemies as it spins along the ground. If launched to the air, it slowly descends to the ground. The angle can be chosen before launching.

Ice = Skate Boar-Dillo

Indy's armor becomes flat and slippery as ice! Kirby flips him upside down, and the can ride on him like a snowboard! This is Indy's quickest move. You can jump when using this move, but the traction is very minimal, so it's hard to turn around.

Ironically this move can't be used for freezing enemies, instead Kirby plummets on them and takes damage.

Cutter = Piercing Armor.

Indy gets a powerful but short sneeze and his armor belts flies around him like a sharp razor blades. Beware still that after any of the armor belt hit something when launched, Indy loses it for a few seconds, leaving just that armor that didn't hit anything.

Stone = B.C Batter

Pressing the attack button makes Indy lie flat on the ground first, and then become all rocky and frozen while flat like a board. Kirby grabs his tail and can use him as a batter to hit the enemies or just to flatten them up.

Needle = Pointy Poles.

After you equip this power, just press down! Three tall and enormous needles sprout from Indy's back, making the helmet gimmick noted above more defensive as well as offensive to use.

Spark = Shining Armor.

Sunlight (or any other source of it reflected in other places) is reflected from Indy's back as Kirby holds him like a window glass. A medium wide ray of light is produced to show the way in darkness like a flashlight. You can change the direction of the light. This doesn't damage enemies as long as they don't come contact with Indy's armor but you can use this as a substitute for Kine's Lightbulb.

Bugger the Tarantula

- From SUPASPAZ on April 25th, 2010

Bugger is a helpful tarantula friend to Kirby that is slightly bigger than him. Bugger shoot's webs to grab his enemies for abilities and let's Kirby ride on his back. Bugger is also helpful due to the fact he can climb any surface with ease(Walls and Ceilings too!).

Fire/Burning: Spits a chargeable and aimable fire shot that burn's the ground.

Ice: Make's a mist that freezes enemies and also freezes the ground as you walk.

Spark: Spit's an electrically charged beam that can be aimed.

Needle: Bowls a spike covered Kirby at enemies.

Cutter: Spit's a Giant beam at enemies that cut's ropes.

Stone: Stomp's the ground, causing shockwaves to go in both directions.

Parasol: Kirby hangs on to Bugger while holding a Parasol. You can also make Bugger use a web to stretch down to defeat enemies.

Clean: Run's in place, causing dust to fly everywhere to defeat enemies.

Rex the Dodo

- From Capsule J3 on April 24th, 2010

Don't be fooled by Rex's tough-sounding name; he's actually a blue, poofy, flightless bird. Rex is about the same size as Kirby, who rides him on his back. Rex's running speed is about the same as Kirby's, and his jumping height is quite high. He does not have a double jump or a flying ability, though. Rex has a long-range inhale, though it is weaker than Kirby's regular inhale.

Burning: Rex sets himself on fire for a few seconds and gains speed. Though it is very useful for breaking through blocks, it can be dangerous for taking on enemies as Rex and Kirby are vulnerable once the fire wears off.

Clean: Rex uses a bottle of window washer to spray enemies in front of him. Has a short yet wide radius.

Cutter: Rex throws a quite large cutter overhead.

Ice: Kirby rides Rex like a sled, leaving ice slick behind him.

Needle: Rex jumps up and spins around with his newly-sharp talons, creating a ripsaw. Rex lands on his backside when you land, leaving you vulnerable until you move.

Parasol: Rex gains an umbrella that Kirby twirls around so he can fly like a helicopter.

Spark: Rex becomes a sort of a magnet, pulling in enemies and powerups nearby.

Stone: Rex blasts a stone egg out of his backside.

Skitter the Scorpion

- From GameQube on April 24th, 2010

Skitter is a very dark red scorpion who is as tall as Kirby and twice as long with large claws and a standard stinger. He has eight skinny legs but a large body, making it difficult to go very fast. he goes a little slower on ice with all those legs so he also has less traction on ice, but on any other surfaces he can stop almost instantaneously. on sand he can speed up by a little bit because it's his home terrain. his jump is a kind of pounce that can destroy enemies if landed on. if the jump hits a wall he can climb up the wall.

Stone: Skitter's claws turn into a stone wall that destroys all enemies in the way a little taller than skitter and Kirby when the attack button is pushed. If the attack button is pushed again, the shield goes flying through walls until it goes off screen and destroys all enemies in the way.

Parasol: Kirby pulls out a parasol and spins it. If you hold the attack button you can use the directional pad to change the angle. once shot, the parasol will ricochet off wall at an angle and return upon hitting an enemy or the parasol is caught.

ice: Skitter curls up his tail and Kirby makes a snowball and throws the snowball up Skitter's tail so it travels in an arc and freezes any enemy it hits.

cutter: Skitter gets sharp blades in his claws and swiftly extends his claw in front of him to chop an enemy.

needle: Skitter uses his stinger to stab in front of him, the longer the attack button is held the farther he stabs.

burning: Skitter creates a fireball with his claws then throws it to the ground to catch the area around him on fire, the longer the attack button is held the further the blast goes.

Clean: Skitter takes out a mop and mops with it sending out water droplets. enemies hit by the mop or the droplets are destroyed.

Spark: Skitter uses his stinger to shoot a thin beam of electricity which goes through walls and is incredibly fast.

Gar the Lobster

- From Bimblesnaff on April 24th, 2010

This crazy crustacean isn't crazy! ... At all! He has a big, rounded head and a pair of large pincers. Two antenna are bent around his back. He rides on top of the player but is far too large to be worn like a hat. His tail curls around the back and his claws touch on the ground. He walks on their points with the player, not slowing the ridden down at all. This wrapping takes up two "spaces" both in height and across. Despite this size, a stamping cannot be done to enemies. However, the standard headbutt can still be executed in the brief moment following a jump.

Rather than eating foes, enemies are grabbed and held within his pincers. There is no suction, meaning it can only grab objects immediately before it and one at a time. However, like many attacks (Cutter, Ice, the Bubble Gun), his regular Star Bullet can be angled slightly up and down if desired by pressing that direction while shooting. While similar to Throw, it does not produce a mega-bullet, just a single.

Without flight or enhanced mobility, Gar needs away to get across the simplest of obstacles -- slightly tall barriers. There's a lot of those, and most Animal Friends have ways of navigating these. Ya know? When ducking, Gar's finned tail is folded under, and jump while down like this rockets him skyward twice as high. While it can get him over walls, the player needs to preplan the action. It cannot (obviously) be performed mid-air to save him from falling off a cliff.

Burning launches two jets of flame from his pincers, each angled downward at each side. This flare is very short range and lasts as long as the button is pressed. Additionally, it slowly lifts Gar into to the air, allowing him to fly the sky.

Clean wraps the lobster in a big soap bubble. It pops after a few seconds or it comes into contact with a foe or object. While it lasts, he can drift freely about in all directions.

Cutter has his pincer turn into a scissor. He crawls along the ground in short bursts with a snip at each advance. Only his front is protected.

Ice rolls out a heavy snowball. It rolls along the ground and, if it goes off a ledge, falls sharply to the ground below. It grows smaller as it rolls away.

Needle turns the ridden player into a spiked wheel. It rolls forward and even up sheer walls as long as the button is held. The top is exposed as the ability mostly focuses below.

Parasol pops the umbrella from his head as his spins around in the opposite direction slowly. In this twirling state, he holds his currently elevation and continues forward, bashing anything to his sides.

Spark scrunches up Gar as his antenna stand out at angles. A current is surged through them as sparks are flung off the ends in short bursts.

Stone turns the lobster's pincer petrified as he steps forward and swings it upward in a clobbering uppercut.

Waldy the Whale

- From The Infamy on April 23rd, 2010

Waldy has two flippers, along with a blowhole on his head, appears to be green, is a little bigger than Kirby, and has a huge tail that allows him to swim well, but not as well as Kine. Other than that, Waldy looks like your ordinary whale. Kirby rides on the blowhole, and when the player presses the button that usually lets the inhaling to start, instead, he uses a jet of water to propel Kirby upward, which is strong enough to break every block, save for ability blocks. In order for the player to get abilities, the player has to align Waldy with the enemy the player wants Waldy to eat. When the enemy gets close enough, Waldy opens his mouth and eats it, lurching forward a bit. Waldy will also obtain the ability that the enemy has. Waldy can't walk on land all that well, but he can propel him self off of the ground with his flippers and fly quite well.

Burn- This is like the Fire+Stone combo from Kirby 64, but done differently. Waldy slides Kirby to his tail, and then his blowhole starts spewing flaming stones left and right. When he uses it under water, the fire fizzles out and the stones turn into regular ones.

Clean- Waldy propels himself forward with his tail, and blows away dirt and enemies. The player steers him by using the control pad and rotates him as he propels himself forward. Works best underwater.

Cutter- Waldy gains sharp teeth and chomps three times. These release shock waves that hurt any enemy caught in them.

Ice- Waldy breathes icy breath that freezes both water and enemies.

Needle- Waldy slides Kirby to his tail, and then makes a long horn protrude out of his blowhole. The player can't do anything until the attack button is released.

Parasol- This is much the same as Burn, but instead Waldy spews out parasols that drift down and hurt any enemies along the way,

Spark- Kirby goes into Waldy's mouth and comes out as a lightbulb. After a bit, the lightbulb shatters, but the circuit continues to run. This causes a peculiar thing to happen in the water: since water conducts electricity, the electricity spreads in the water, causing it to shock all enemies in sight.

Stone: This is the same as the blowhole attack, but Kirby turns into a stone ball and is propelled by the water coming out of Waldy, but as a result doesn't go as high as usual.

Leap the Lizard

- From Adol on April 23rd, 2010

Leap has an elliptical body that narrows to a short tail. He has three rounded spikes on his back, two oval eyes, and his colors are a muted dark blue for the body with two yellow stripes between his spikes. Kirby or Gooey ride on his back, and Leap stands or walks on two feet but runs on all fours. Kirby inhales the enemies, and Leap can jump only once with around the same height as Rick.

Clean - Standing on his two feet, Leap holds Kirby, who changes into a small mat, and flaps him up and down to dust him off. Kirby and the small dust clouds around him damage enemies while Leap remains vulnerable.

Fire - Pressing the attack button causes Leap to jump into the air with extra propulsion from Kirby, who aims two small jets of fire downwards on the sides of Leap. In this way they can jump higher, and hit enemies while ascending. While they descend, however, Leap and Kirby are vulnerable except for the bottom where the flames burn enemies.

Ice - Leap's three spikes become icicles and are shot diagonally up from his back.

Cutter - Both Leap and Kirby merge into one large cutter boomerang and spin forward, then back to the original point. They move horizontally, and the player may release the attack button before going backwards to stop. However, the length of pathway in which they move decreases proportionally as the player repeats the move immediately, one after the other, similar to Kirby's normal burn attack.

Spark - Leap and Kirby mimic a plasma ball; Leap becomes the base and Kirby becomes the center ball emitting streams of electricity. Any enemy entering the circular area of electricity around Kirby will be shocked by a bolt similar to the double electric ability in Kirby and the Crystal Shards. In this state, they cannot move, but the bolt can damage multiple enemies in its path. When performed in the air, the bottom of Leap remains exposed as the electric field does not cover the bottom.

Needle - Leap bends down on all fours and Kirby produces spikes on his own back pointing up. The sides to Leap are left vulnerable, and they are immobile.

Stone - Kirby transforms into a geometric rock shell covering Leap. In this state they may walk only, and Leap's head and tail stick out, leaving those parts vulnerable. If standing, however, Leap will tuck his tail and head into the shell for protection.

Parasol - When the player presses the attack button, Leap sprints forward while Kirby repeatedly jousts in front of him. A small delay between forward jabs is the main weakness.

Bloosh the Mouse

- From RaichuKFM on April 23rd, 2010

Bloosh has a pudgy, light gray coat of fur with four pink feet and a long, smooth tail. He can roll into a ball and jump using his tail as a spring. He wraps his tail around Kirby to carry him. When he jumps, Kirby hangs onto his back for dear life. When Bloosh rolls, the pink puff runs on top of him, like a log-runner. Bloosh can move across flat terrain quickly by becoming a ball, which can stop on a dime, but has the worst traction. The mouse is still vulnerable in ball form, although projectiles just stop him and don't do damage. If you jump while rolling, Bloosh will spring up and land on the ground, dealing the equivalent of a air pellet to nearby enemies. He cannot double jump, but gets good air time. When he "eats" an enemy, he does a handstand and holds Kirby in front, who inhales.

Burn: Mouseor-He springs into the atmosphere and strikes down aflame, like a meteor.

Clean: Bubble Burp-The gluttonous rodent gobbles down a bar of soap and shoots forth a spray of bubbles, like a drunk Jerry.

Cutter: Tootharang-Bloosh grows sharp, curved fangs which Kirby throws like boomerangs.

Ice: Snow Man Smash-Snow falls, and Kirby happily builds a snowman. While building they are invincible, as Kirby will pelt intruders with snowballs, turning them around. Bloosh than reluctantly rams through the snowman, sending one piece up, one peice left, and the other right. The parts can be gathered to make a purely aesthetic snowman, to Kirby's delight.

Needle: High Fly-Bloosh flings his tail, sending a needle Kirby flying, the power of the throw is controllable. Bloosh is invincible while rolling to get Kirby, who himself is protected at the sides, but harmed by attacks that hit him from above. Kirby remains in the ground until the attack button is pressed again.

Parasol: Speedy Gonzambrella-Kirby opens the parasol behind Bloosh, who is forcefully flung across the screen, Kirby floats in after him.

Spark: Pichu, Pikachu, Raichu!-Bloosh makes a shield around his front, and Kirby pushes him from behind. This lasts for five seconds. If the button is held it makes a full around, immobile shield until the button is released. The immobile shield creates a lot of static, so friction will keep Bloosh from rolling in this form.

Stone: Double Smash-If not already airborne, Bloosh jumps up in the air, and lands in a statue resembling himself. He has a corkscrew-like tail, with a petrified pink puff on top. Hit the button again to drop Kirby and return to normal. When dropped, Kirby will aim for the nearest enemy.

Femantis the Mantis

- From locoroco1 on April 23rd, 2010

One of Femantis's most distinguishing features is the her large claws. Her head is twice the size of Kirby, so Kirby sits on her head. Her antenna arch around Kirby's back, forming a crude chair. If Kirby tries to inhale from here, Femantis will lash out with her claws, grabbing the enemy and feeding it to Kirby for a longer range. While on Femantis, Kirby cannot jump high, or float, but Femantis's jumps take her far, allowing her to leap considerably farther than Kirby can alone. She moves very quickly, but cannot swim, so underwater she will go limp and will require Kirby to carry her. This slows him down a lot, and he will sink easier. She has small wings, though without an ability they have no use.

When Femantis has a Kirby with burning on her head, her claws will catch on fire, and on the activation of the ability, she will extend them in front of her. While doing this she can still walk, though go to far and you will start to lose health. When using clean, Femantis will flap her wings very quickly, stirring up dust on both sides of her. The dust will hurt enemies, and she maintains full mobility. When Kirby gets cutter, Femantis will take Kirby off her head, and throw him as a boomerang. Kirby can curve and control his direction while he is in the air, but no matter where he goes, he goes back to Femantis in the end. When Femantis is exposed to the ice ability, she freezes. Kirby will have to push her, losing mobility, but freezing enemies in a steamroller fashion. She will also float, allowing Kirby to use her as a boat. When exposed to needle, Femantis will take her claws and they will become covered in spikes. She can then use them as a kind of sword, beating enemies as she walks. When exposed to a parasol, Femantis will turn into a rocket, and instead of fire comming out the back, it's the parasol! Her eyes will move to the center of the rocket and turn into windows, showing Kirby twirling the parasol. Femantis can kill enemies by running into them as a rocket. When using spark, Femanti's antenna will become wires, flailing in various directions while Femantis walks. When Kirby activates the stone ability, Femantis will turn to stone. Other than acting as a shield for Kirby, Kirby can break pieces of her off and throw them at the foe. The pieces come back together when the ability is deactivated.

Julio the Beetle

- From LakituAl on April 23rd, 2010

His body, roughly the size of Kirby's, is shiny green, almost egg shaped, and has a round head. His face sports a mildly sized horn in a nose like fashion, and he covers his eyes with triangular dark specs. He stands in his four dark green feet, which are all Kirby like shoes detached from his body. However, when he is chosen by Kirby he will be tied to Kirby's hand (limb, arm, whatever...) by a string from his neck and will start flying a few "squares" above Kirby (It is worth noting that Mexican kids used to tie Beetles to a string to "fly" them like a kite. That is where the concept comes from.)

Oddly enough, having him around you does not affect the way you move: you can still inhale, float, crouch and slide pretty much the same.

Julio is offensive cranked up to eleven. All of his attacks leave Kirby open to attacks. Well, you know what they say, the best defense is a great offense, right?

Spark will allow Julio to "lampshade" a few steps before Kirby, lighting himself up like fireflies do and casting a beam of light in a downwards angle. This can partially illuminate dark rooms.

Stone will turn Julio into a mineral version of himself that Kirby will pound with once in front of him. It is quick and cannot be used again until Julio goes back to normal. If used in midair the petrified beetle will predictably go downwards, taking Kirby with him.

A Parasol will sprout from his horn as he dives into the nearest enemy possible. This attack has semi homing abilities and is quite useful for Boss Battles.

When Kirby uses his Freeze breath on an enemy, Julio will come and carry the ice cube before Kirby can kick it. When he carries an ice cube, it will try to throw it at any enemy who comes across him. Kirby can create more cubes and kick them if Julio is already holding one.

Cutter causes Julio to start spinning around Kirby so fast he will hit anything that comes from the sides and cut any rope around. Kirby is open for attacks from above, though.

If used in midair, the spinning will act as a helicopter, sending Julio upwards with Kirby following a little below him. This now leaves Kirby open for side attacks, but anything from above will be doomed.

Clean will make Julio stand a few squares away from Kirby and turn his horn into a hose "nose". He will pump a strong water shot as long as you have the B button pressed, yet he "runs out of water" 3 seconds later.

Burning is first performed by Kirby, who will go forward with his classical fireball technique. After Kirby stops moving, Julio will imitate the same attack, dragging Kirby behind him. This gives you a good distance, but the second half of the attack leaves Kirby open to attacks.

When using Needle, Julio can fire pin missiles. Only three of them can be on screen at the same time, and can be aimed with up and down in the D-Pad. They disappear on contact with enemies and enemy projectiles.

Tino the Ant

- From Iko-kun on April 23rd, 2010

Tino has a very simple shape: he consists in 3 parts which resembles three spheres, the head and the rear part are green and the central part is about yellow.

He have two antennas on the head and six short legs.

Tino walks on four legs, with the other two legs he holds Kirby.

This animal friend doesn't fly, he do only a single jump (like Kine), but has the special ability to walk on walls and on the top of the room.

Clean - Kirby becomes a sponge, Tino presses he to create some bubbles that float slowly in random direction and explode after a while. Underwater the bubbles go up quickly. Tino can use it even if you are walking on the wall or on the ceiling.

Ice - Kirby becomes an ice brick, and Tino jumps on he. The ice brick releases some little ice crystals that freeze enemies, else if you hit an enemy directly with the brick, the enemy will die. If you use it on a slope, you will start sliding in the direction of the downhill, as fast as the inclination of the slope is. You can use the ice brick like a boat, and, while you are swimming on the water, the crystals fall underwater and freeze some enemies. The same if you jump when you're sliding: the crystals will fall down and freeze the enemies that are under you. If you use this ability when you are on a wall or on the ceiling, you will fall.

Cutter - Holding the attack button Kirby becomes a big pair of scissors. Tino can't move when Kirby becomes in that form, but he can decide the inclination of the attack (horizontal-vertical-45°). The direction is influenced by the inclination of the ground. When you release the attack button, Tino will cut in the selected direction. To attack the enemies on your back you must rotate the character in the opposite direction. You can use this ability on the wall and on the ceiling, underwater and when you fall.

Needle - The rear part of Tino becomes a long sting. This ability, except for the animation, is exactly the same of Cutter, but this time you can attack on your back and you can't attack on your front.

Spark - This attack is similar to the stone+spark from Kirby 64, but is a bit different: Kirby becomes a floating electric ball, and Tino's antennas starts to release lightnings in his direction. You can walk slowly in this form. The floating Kirby hits automatically the near enemies. This works on walls, on the ceiling and underwater, but if you use it underwater the lightnings power, the range and the speed of Kirby are decreased.

Stone - Kirby become a big round stone and Tino pulls or pushes he to squeeze enemies. If the inclination of the ground is too strong, Tino and Kirby begin to roll down and you can't stop they, until they are stopped by the friction (or by a wall). If you use it walking on a wall or on the ceiling, you will fall down. This ability works underwater too, and because the stone is heavy, you can go through the currents coming from down to up.

Burn - Tino and Kirby become a big flame. Is similar to the standard spark ability, but is bigger and with fire instead of electricity. Underwater it doesn't work.

Parasol - Tino takes the closed parasol, Kirby become a pink ring and the ant starts to move the parasol spinning the pink ring on the top. This ability attacks above and in front of you. You can't move when you use it. You can use this ability underwater, on walls and on the ceiling.

Coln the Ants

- From Blahblahblahrb on April 22nd, 2010

An ant colony! Noooooooooooooooooooooo-

Er, Coln is a pile (fifteen or so) of black simple ants with white antennas. Each individual is about half the size of Kirby's eye.

The ants pile up on each other in a tall line on Kirby's head. In a narrow place, they will move to cover Kirby's entire head.

If Kirby runs, the tall pile sways back and forth.

When Kirby travels with Coln, he will gain a double-jump before floating. During this double-jump, The ants will form a human pyramid (or ant-pyramid) and two ants at the top will spin around each other. A blue and yellow spotlight shines on them for a second. After this, enemies within one-third of the screen will stop moving and appear dance as well for a few seconds. Gordos will fly in and surround the tall line of ants, unable to damage Kirby. This ability is useful if there is a wall of Gordos. However, the Gordos will leave to their original spots just as the other enemies will stop dancing.

Kirby eats the food, and the ants don't do anything.

Other than in Boss stages, Coln will always emit a cheery circus music.

Seltzer Kirby (Clean): Kirby will hold a seltzer bottle that sprays the entire Coln into an enemy.

Knife Coln: Coln forms a standing figure and throws knives. The knives will always miss the first thing it meets. To hit a single enemy, position Kirby in front of the figure.

Coln wire (Spark): Coln forms into a "whip", which Kirby holds to dance around flailing it, shocking enemies.

Fire-eating Kirby (Fire): Coln will light on fire, running around into enemies before getting eaten by Kirby.

Magic Coln (Ice): Coln will form a magician's hat, sprouting ice cubes from it.

Coln Swordplay (Spike): Kirby runs around waving a Coln sword.

Heavy Coln (Stone): Coln will turn into rock, squishing Kirby into a pancake, unable to walk. The directional buttons will swing the tall row of rock Coln around.

Coln Big top (Parasol): A circus "Big Top" made of Kirby's parasol appears. Coln will dance on top, having the same effect of the Double-jump, but also damaging the enemies slowly. Coln will die if they go offscreen, as they cannot move with Kirby in this state.

Kokum's lower section is about the size of his upper. It is gray, featuring a white beard, shiny teeth, and Kokum's swinging arms. The mushroom covers his eyes. Kokum will extend his roots to get in the air. He is very old, and therefore slow. The duo inhales by Kokum extending his arm so Kirby can get a far-away enemy in his mouth. Kevin the Crocodile

- From Pogman on April 21st, 2010

Kevin the Crocodile is a small crocodile wearing a bowler hat and who has sharp spikes on his back. He walks as fast as Kirby usually does. Kirby rides on his back where there is a non-spike area. He cannot go underwater but he swims even faster than Kine overwater. Instead of inhaling its jaws grow to double the size and eat whatever is in front of him.

Rock- He eats Kirby and he turns into a giant boulder inside of him. He rolls around 1.5x speed of average and crushes anything in his way. This is very easy to control but he cannot float in water and falls through * blocks and crumbling blocks.

Cutter - he takes a bite from Kirby and his two back legs pounce up to throw him. He rolls into a ball while Kirby is swinging round so he cannot be hurt.

Clean - He licks the floor and globules of saliva drip from his mouth hurting enemies slightly.

Spark - He grows an antennae from his tail and lightning strikes onto the antennae and zaps the next enemy you come across. In addition it zaps any nearby enemies when the lightning strikes, but they have to be very close.

Burning - Kirby sets on fire and Kevin sheds scales which hurt any enemies that they touch. In addition they run around and you can only control the directions + jumping killing any common enemies they come into contact with.

Ice- He swallows Kirby and makes a frozen Kirby clone who runs forward until he hits someone. He then spits out Kirby.

Needle - Kirby hangs underneath him and the spikes on his back shoot up and Kirby grows spikes too. They can roll around very slowly but are then vulnerable to non-physical attacks.

Parasol - A umbrella pops out of his bowler hat and Kirby holds one above too. Kevin's umbrella can be shot forward and aimed up and down. They float as normal parasol Kirby would.

Daddi the Spider

- From superyoshi888 on April 20th, 2010

Daddi the Spider is a large spider that is slightly bigger than Kirby. His body becomes segmented near the center. His main body color is brown, with the two middle segments being red. Daddi has two red eyes and two pedipalps (the two appendages) near where his (not visible) mouth would be.

Daddi, due to Kirby's added weight, only moves about as fast as Kirby himself. Daddi can, however, climb up walls and ceilings and drop down slowly using a thread of his web. Since he has no visible mouth, Kirby still eats any enemies. When jumping, Daddi can jump very high, but he can not jump multiple times.

Burning: Daddi grabs Kirby with his two pedipalps and rolls forward swiftly while on fire. He won't stop rolling until the attack button is pressed again. Daddi also can't change direction.

Clean: Daddi makes a small cloth out of web and scrubs down anything directly in front of him. Holding the button makes him scrub slowly; tapping it makes him scrub faster, at the expense doing less damage to bosses. The faster you tap, the faster he scrubs.

Cutter: Daddi makes a sharp blade out of his web. He then spins and tosses the blade. It will then arc and fall slowly at an angle. Because it falls slowly, it can hit multiple enemies. However, these blades will disappear upon contact with a boss or mid-boss.

Needle: Daddi jumps forward and points all of his legs in one location, then drops down like a thumbtack. When in the air, he simply just drops down.

Parasol: Daddi makes a parachute made of web for Kirby, then jumps up into the air. The parachute damages any enemy it touches. Kirby is protected in the top and bottom (due to the parachute and Daddi, respectively), but any attacks that can go through either the parachute or Daddi or that hit from the side will still damage Kirby. In addition, Kirby can not increase his fall speed while like this.

Spark: Daddi walks forward slowly, his front two legs lifted up. In between the legs he runs an electrical current. Any enemy that touches this current can pass the current on to other nearby enemies.

Stone: Daddi attaches a strand of web to Stone Kirby and swings Kirby around like a mace. Daddi can advance forward and backward very slowly while swinging.

GaoGao the Panda

- From Kirazy on April 20th, 2010

GaoGao's body type is rather bowling-pin-like, with a fatter lower base, and a thinner head. He has beady black eyes, and a black spot over them. Also, he has a black patch of fur covering his chest, and arms. Lastly, he has two floating black ears, two feet, and a puffball black tail.

When Kirby chooses Gaogao, the two hold hands, standing side by side, Gao Gao in front. Well like this, GaoGao can run faster than Kirby can regularly, (Kirby bouncing behind, as GaoGao excells) but limits jumping to one jump, plus a spin, in which the two spin while holding hands in the air as a second jump, which also can damage enemies if they are close enough.

Rather than inhaling, GaoGao grabs at the closest enemy, and shoves it in Kirby's mouth. GaoGao attacks by using Kirby, mainly, as a weapon.

Stone: GaoGao grabs Kirby and begins to swing him over his head, like a ball and chain.

Clean: GaoGao turns Kirby into a watering can, and spins kirby around, spraying water to the right, then left.

Cutter: Kirby and Gaogao spin together extra fast, and rise up, cutting in a zigzagging pattern similar to the Tornado move.

Spark: GaoGao rubs Kirby on himself, then becomes fully charged with electricity. Then he runs around even faster than usual for a brief period, however, he cannot stop, and is slightly difficult to control.

Burning: GaoGao and Kirby both explode in a firework, which can be used up to 3 times in a row.

Ice: GaoGao turns Kirby into a block of ice, and then pushes him, causing him to slide forwards. If Kirby hits a wall or an enemy, he'll slide back to GaoGao, however, there is a chance of having GaoGao simply push Kirby off a cliff.

Needle: GaoGao and Kirby tighten their hand-holding, and the two, upon gaining spikes, roll forwards. They turn back into normal upon contact with anything.

Parasol: GaoGao takes out a parasol, and then huddles under it with Kirby, as the two use it as a sheild. They are invincible when they use it, however, it doesn't hurt enemies, unless used exactly next to them. Also, GaoGao and Kirby are stationary while using it.

Pip is a bright yellow-colored stingray, with two edgy blue tipped fins and a blue-tipped tail meeting at a point. He has eyes similar to Rick's, and two small hands(?) below his fins. Kirby uses Pip mainly for water transportation. Pip will jet along the surface of the water, and jumping will allow him to leap over obstacles. Pip can crawl slowly on land.

Burn: Pip is momentarily set on fire whenever the attack button is pressed, making it easy to clear enemies.

Clean: Pip's mouth opens like a vacuum cleaner, shooting dust forward at enemies.

Cutter: Pip and Kirby turn into a cutter shape and zoom forward for a few seconds.

Ice: Shoots small snowflakes upward, sideways and diagonally (all directions when jumping.)

Needle: Using his tail, Pip launches a spiky Kirby forward and back like a rubber band.

Parasol: Kirby puts the parasol in front of Pip, acting as a shield.

Spark: A lightning bolt appears between Pip's tail and the clouds, and Kirby is in between (looking like he causes the lightning bolt.)

Stone: Pip drops to the bottom of the sea as a rock, then floats back up to Kirby; useful for locating 1-Ups and other things.

Gulp the Pelican

- From Plasma Friend on April 17th, 2010

True to his name, Gulp has a huge, goldish-yellow beak that takes up most of his triangular body. His feathers are a whitish gray tone, with three odd feathers sticking out on the top of his cranium and two tulip-shaped feathers on his sides. His eyes are a sky-blue shade, with the top of the eyes curving down but not exactly touching where the beak begins, along with yellow feet similar in size to his wings, only with two twos and claws per foot. The last thing Gulp has in the looks department is his stub of a tail, which is the same shade of blue in color as his eyes but similar in appearance to a Doberman's tail.

When Kirby decides to team up with Gulp, Gulp turns the tables on Kirby and eats him. Ok so he's not eating him, but he does put Kirby into his mouth and takes him along the journey that way. With Kirby weighing Gulp down, he can't exactly fly all that well (though his distance above ground is higher than what Kirby can jump normally). However, this doesn't affect his water maneuverability, which unique to Gulp, allows the player to glide on the water with ease (just like a duck swimming in a pond). The drawback to this technique however is that Gulp can't go underwater with Kirby. For health restoration, Gulp swipes the food with his wing and throws it into his mouth.

Burn- Being a bird of the water, Gulp can't take heat too well, so his eyes give away his pain with this ability. With this ability, Gulp, when he opens his mouth, spits out a dark, smoggy smoke (while also revealing Kirby in his mouth) . The smoke doesn't do much harm, but it does linger around the screen for a few seconds.

Clean- Kirby, using his trusty broom, sweeps up the opponents into Gulp's now free mouth (who acts as the dust pan).

Spark- Mimicking a lantern, Kirby glows a pretty green color while hiding in Gulp's mouth, which is transparent with the light. Not really an attack, but it is pretty to look at.

Ice- With Ice, Gulp turns into a giant ice block, which Kirby must push along. While pointless at first, it becomes a pretty good weapon once Kirby gets his momentum running. Just be careful not to run into a wall or lava!

Stone- In a very Kirby fashion, Kirby turns into a round boulder with this ability, while continuing to hide in Gulp's mouth. Due to his greater mass though, Gulp can't jump as high as normal, but it does allow him to travel underwater (though he can't glide on water). For attack purposes, Gulp can spit out Kirby like a cannon ball, which Kirby will roll back to Gulp afterwards.

Parasol- For parasol to work, Kirby must ride on Gulp's back. With parasol, Gulp opens his mouth to show the parasol off. With the parasol open, he can fly around the level with greater ease. The parasol can also deflect small moves from enemies, such as a small fireball.

Cutter- For something really different, Gulp turns into a pair a giant scissors that Kirby can wield with Cutter. Similar to how sword operates, Kirby can do a quick jab in any direction with Gulp, and by holding the button longer, Kirby can cut ropes and enemies (in a comical fashion, of course).

Needle- Gulp, with Needle's aid, is able to shoot out mini needles at enemies from his mouth for a long ranged attack. A simple attack, but each needle is pink in color and has one of Kirby's eyes present on the surface.

A red phoenix with orange and yellow wings. Her beak is a light brown. She is about the size as Pitch and LOVES ice cream. Unfortunately for her, Kirby sits on her head, which is pretty much her whole body! Since she is as small as Pitch, flying with Kirby on is a large hassle. She can fly decently fast, but can only flap her wings 5 times. When on the ground she is pretty good, because she tilts her body when inhaling so Kirby has a better angle. When in water, Phiella faints because of her fire bird nature. This leaves swimming the same as without Kirby, but mush slower. Phiella makes up for this with her great power!

Clean(Squishy Sponge):Kirby turns into a sponge while Phiella scrubs the ground. Goes forward as long as B is held.

Cutter(Twin Twister):Phiella sharpens her wings. Kirby spins her around while still on top of her. Can move left or right until the player let's go of B.

Spark(Jump Start):Phiella jumps on Kirby. Kirby sparks up and walks forward a few steps slowly. Phiella is shocked and jumps up and down shocking whatever she touches. Will only last 5 seconds after B is pressed.

Burning(Phoenix Fire):Phiella spins around spitting fire. Must hold B to use. Cannot walk while using this move.

Ice(You Scream):Phiella pulls out some ice cream and throws it. Press B rapidly to shoot more cones.

Needle(Prickly Peck):Phiella's beak turns sharp and long. If B is held, the beak stays sharp and the duo can walk around slowly while still facing the same direction. This leaves the back completely vulnerable.

Stone(On a Roll):Kirby turns to stone and squishes Phiella flat. Until B is pressed again, Phiella can roll stone Kirby from below but can't jump. Kirby will turn back to normal after too long.

Parasol:Kirby turns into an umbrella for about 10 seconds. Phiella is startled and cannot stop running until the attack is over. Pressing B will switch from having Kirby facing up, to facing forward.

Hissy the Cobra

- From Someone You Know on April 15th, 2010

Hissy is quite large for a serpent (particularly, a serpent in Kirby's world of knee-high wonders), rising up to about Rick's height. She extends out at an equivalent to her height, tapering off into a tail kept high in the air. Hissy, being a cobra, has a round frill around her neck, with a pair of big orange eye-spots. Along with this, she has a two-tone color scheme, with a dark green back and a pale green face and underside. While she is activated, Hissy is ridden by Kirby in the form of a ball balanced on the cobra's erect tail.

Hissy the Cobra, being both a reptile and a predator, is terribly misunderstood by the other Animal Friends; Rick and Pitch are terrified of her, while Nago and Coo simply don't like her scaly appearance. In several ways, she is the most cynical of the Animal Friends, and she rarely applies herself (not to worry; this attitude is not expressed by her in-game AI). This lazy, reptilian approach is applied quite literally in-game; in the colder locales of Dreamland, Hissy will actually slow down a bit, and unless she escapes to warmer areas, Hissy will become horrendously sluggish. However, Hissy's major advantage over other Animal Friends is her belly. All snakes have incredible traction on their bellies; as such, Hissy will not slip on any terrain. She can even slide up on top of water (which can be a blessing or a curse depending).

On a minor note, it has been suggested that Hissy is actually a Tsuchinoko, a mythical Japanese serpent. However, this holds as much water as Tails the Fox of "Sonic" being a Kitsune.

Instead of the standard, Kirby-sucks-his-enemies-into-the-gaping-vortex-that-is-his-mouth standard attack, it's Hissy that instead strikes the enemy with a fatal bite upon pressing of the B button. Luckily for copy abilities, upon striking the enemy out of existence, Hissy will send a small piece of the enemy through her stomach, up her tail, and into Kirby's ball body like a tiny shockwave.

Burning (Burning Sting): Hissy is able to spit a short-ranged spray at an enemy. The spray is actually a burning venom, which sets the enemy's eyes aflame (bad news for any Waddle Doo). On top of this, Burning Hissy is able to stay active in colder weather thanks to the fire in her belly.

Clean (Suction Snake): Hissy suddenly stiffens up. Kirby, stepping off and grabbing the tip of Hissy's tail, pushes her forward as she sucks up everything in her path like a vacuum. Hissy's suction only works on the immediate level she is on, but it's powerful enough to clean half of the entire screen in 5 steps.

Cutter (Tail Whip): Hissy grabs Kirby in her mouth, then rears back and uses her tail like a whip. It's so fast as to be able to cut ropes and enemies alike.

Ice (Hibernation): This is, unfortunately, one of Hissy's most dangerous moves (for the wrong reasons). When Ice is activated, Hissy suddenly grows very cold, and like all reptiles do, falls into a deep sleep. Kirby, dressed in a little scarf and hat, is warm, but quite vulnerable to any enemies. Luckily, Hibernation only lasts as long as the Sleep ability in Super Star, and gives added health as a bonus.

Needle (Thorny Worm): Hissy the Cobra suddenly transmogrifies into an incredibly prickly segmented worm, which crawls along like a caterpillar. She's slow in this form, but can damage enemies upon contact, and can stick to walls as well.

Parasol (Shield the Rain): Kirby slides down onto Hissy's back as the familiar 2-tone umbrella suddenly pops up from her tail tip. While in play, the parasol can be used as an effective shield with a touch of the B-Left, B-Right, or B-Down button; it injures enemies on contact.

Spark (Lightning Rod): Hissy turns to the player, rears her tail (and Kirby) up, and a bolt of lightning suddenly strikes them both. Upon contact afterward, enemies will be shocked silly. What's even better is that enemies within a few steps of the shocking will also receive it, in a chain reaction.

Stone (Medusa Doo): In contrast to convention, Hissy doesn't turn to stone. Instead, she suddenly shrinks and curls up on Kirby's head, forming a beehive hairdo. When the B button is pressed, Kirby and Hissy will scare an enemy in front of them, turning them to stone. Kirby can kick this stone block out forward, damaging oncoming enemies.

Gary the Serpent

- From Bobmanguy334 on April 15th, 2010

Cute but menacing, Gary is blueish-black, except for his back, which is white. Gary's flippers cause him to glide through the water, but curses him to hobble awkwardly on land. Gary also has trouble jumping on land, owing to the lack of feet! Kirby hitches a ride on this prehistoric wonder's back, and when he needs to inhale an enemy, Gary catches it in his teeth and holds it up for Kirby to inhale!

Burning: Gary lowers his head and shoots a fireball out of his blowhole towards enemies.

Cutter: Gary's spines on the back of his neck enlarge to the point were Kirby can grab and throw them at enemies.

Needle: Gary throws Kirby, who uses his normal needle attack in midair. Kirby then hops on Gary's back again.

Parasol: Kirby transforms into a parasol, and Gary holds Kirby out in front of him with his teeth! Gary holds Kirby in front of him for as long as the button is pressed, and Gary can also move whilst Kirby is wielded.

Ice: Gary releases freezing breath from his mouth, damaging and freezing everything it touches. Gary can then hop on the ice blocks to catch a short speed boost! Otherwise, Gary cannot move while using freezing breath.

Spark: Gary's body becomes electrically charged, electrocuting everything that he touches. Gary can move while electrified, and he stays electrified until the button is depressed.

Stone: Kirby and Gary transform into a statue of Kirby heroically riding Gary. As usual, Gary cannot move in this state, but the statue damages everything it comes into contact with.

Clean: Gary sweeps his tail in a circular motion, kicking up a dust cloud.

KapuKapu the Cat

- From KapuKapu on April 15th, 2010

This denizen from a faraway land is relatively large in size, and (by how many mice he ate) quite wide. Kirby is able to traverse the landscape by means of riding on top of KapuKapu's head. Like all cats, KapuKapu can't stand water, and will leap out of any kind of water the duo happen to come in contact with (provided you have the guts to make a cat get in water. Trust me, it gets ugly. :P). Another unfortunate side effect with this partner, is that should you leave the game idle for more then 5 seconds, KapuKapu's predatory side kicks in, and he dashes off-screen, in search of food, sometimes taking Kirby with him! Now for positive attributes, he's a good jumper, and comes equipped with his own dash attack by pouncing on any foe in front of him with his large jaws. He can also traverse ledges and slick spots with his super-sticky paws. All in all, KapuKapu is a lean, mean, eating machine of lovable mayhem! P.S. Don't forget to feed him!

Fire: KapuKapu takes a page from Kirby 64, and blasts forward in a fiery ball.

Ice: KapuKapu trips and rolls into a spiky slush-ball, flattening every enemy on the ground.

Sword: Kirby pulls out one of KapuKapu's razor sharp teeth, throwing it, slicing and dicing enemies unfortunate enough to come in contact.

Spark: KapuKapu uses static electricity, and runs about shocking people, with Kirby hanging on for dear life.

Twister: Kirby makes use of KapuKapu's tail, and spins his enormous body around, smacking enemies off-screen.

Stone: Hold down B, and KapuKapu turns into a stone statue, becoming immobile, but upon releasing B, he springs back to life, and sneak attacks any enemy that walks by.

Parasol: KapuKapu sprouts an umbrella from his head, and uses it to twirl around, and to float gently down (but not really).

Chip the Parrot

- From Clumbone on April 14th, 2010

Chip is a large parrot with a colorful belly. He also has a crest on his head.

Kirby rides on his back, but he will frequently use Kirby as a weapon. Instead of inhaling, Chip grabs enemies with his beak and gives them to Kirby to spit out, or swallow.

Clean("Crest"-al Clean:His crest grows big as he sweeps the ground with it.

Cutter(Beakarang):Chip throws his beak making it a slow, big cutter.

Spark(Parrot Bolt):He holds Kirby diagonally and Kirby shoots a bolt of lightning.

Burning(Spin Flame):Holds Kirby in his beak and spins, dashing at the enemies. Kirby is on fire for this move.

Ice(Cube Combo):Whacks enemies with frozen Kirby. Can go up to a 3-hit combo.

Needle(Feather Fury):Kirby jumps off as Chip curves into a crescent, turning his tail feathers and crest into spikes.

Stone(Rock Wings):Kirby turns to stone and falls, taking Chip with him. He cannot roll, but Chip can fly upwards to rapidly smash the ground. Similar to Coo's Stone Slam.

Parasol(Parasol Parrot):Chip turns into an umbrella and spins around. Kirby can walk and hold Chip while attacking.

Wart the Toad

- From Ghostmetaknight on April 14th, 2010

Wart the Toad is a big, green, toad with, well, lots of warts. He looks a little like a big, green, Flippy. He is old and grumpy, but has a warm heart underneath. Kirby rides on his back while he moseys along, rather slowly. He has a normal sized jump, but if the button is held and then released, he can basically do a high jump, albeit the damaging sparkles on the sides. Instead of inhaling, he does something I can only describe in one word: Yoshi. In other words, he sticks out his tongue. He is better in water, yet he sinks at an alarmingly fast rate.

Needle: Small needles poke out of Wart's warts. The needles are too small to do damage, but foes better watch out for those arcing orbs of pus. Yeah, you heard me. Pus.

Cutter: Wart's tongue sticks out as if he were gobbling foes, but it's sharp, and enemies will get sliced instead of eaten.

Burning: Kirby flares up, producing steam on Wart's wet body, which envelops them, hurting enemies.

Parasol: Wart jumps up, thinking Kirby's parasol will slow his decent. But the duo soon finds out that Wart is a bit too pudgy for floating, and they crash back down with tremendous force.

Ice: Wart freezes over, forcing Kirby to carry wart on his back. His pace is slow, he can barely jump, it takes him some time to turn around, and he is vulnerable in the back. Any foes that come into contact with his front, however, get frozen.

Stone: Kirby turns into a rock, and Wart's tongue grabs him and smashes him down in front of him.

Clean: Wart spits out a bubble that rolls across the ground, cleaning up dirt-and enemies, too.

Spark: Wart spits out a stream of non-damaging water across the ground, which Kirby then electrocutes, covering all the water with crackles and sparks. Takes a long time, but has high damage and range.

Burning: Jr's tail catches on fire and runs in circles chasing his tail like a dog, I BURNING!!!!

Cutter: Jr. whacks Kirby with his tail and Kirby becomes a boomerang

Ice: Jr. has ice breath that can freeze enemies

Needle: Jr's tooth and rubbery scales spike around him, protecting Kirby

Parasol: Jr.'s training pays off when he dances with Kirby as if he was in a musical.

Knoll the Turtle

- From KrackoCloud on April 13th, 2010

Knoll is a large, earth-toned turtle with sleepy eyes. Kirby rides on his shell.

Patience is needed when playing with Knoll - He is very slow, and while his jumps are normal, his descents are heavy and fast. His swimming is easy to control, and has an adequate speed, but he sinks if idle in the water.

Burning: Knoll's shell becomes a volcano, which spouts fire at varying angles to both sides.

Clean: Knoll's shell becomes a bucket, tipping over and pouring water forward and creating a small wave. It can travel far, but only hurts grounded enemies.

Cutter: Knoll shoots a giant, spinning blade. It is large and powerful, but moves extremely slowly forward. Thankfully, it can stay on the screen for a rather long time.

Ice: Knoll's shell becomes an ice block for a brief moment, reflecting incoming projectiles, as well as emitting a mist that freezes nearby enemies to the left and right. The state can be held for up to six seconds based on how long the attack button is held.

Needle: Knoll grows short spikes. When the attack button is released, the spikes becomes long needles. The length of the needles is dependent on how long the attack button is held, and can become very large (given a lot of charging time). You can move around slightly while charging.

Parasol: Knoll envelops Kirby and turns into a large parasol shield. It spins rapidly and slowly hops forward a short distance, knocking away enemies, as well as providing invincibility.

Spark: Knoll's shell turns into a turret, which then proceeds to shoot a beam. It's powerful, and plows through enemies, but has a lot of vulnerability, especially after the shot.

Stone: Knoll and Kirby merge into a large stone weight that creates powerful shock waves when it lands.

Kisuu the Fox

- From Mikune on April 12th, 2010

It's the very fast, very purple, Kisuu the Fox! Kisuu is a fast fox, she can go three times as fast as Kirby's normal speed but has little traction. She is quite impatient, and will leave if left alone for too long. She is purple, with dark gray on the end of her tail, her paws, and the tip of her ears. To swallow things she charges at them and then bites them, and then swallows them. Kirby rides at the tip of her tail.

For fire, she jumps VERY high and comes down like a meteor. For spark, she charges up, and then rushes forward at VERY HIGH speed. For parasol, the parasol is used like a parachute to slow her down so she can stop easier. For clean, she Gets VERY, VERY, wet, and then rushes forward at high speed, and if she runs into something, it gets wet/defeated, and sparkles for a split second. For freeze, she gets ice skates and starts skating on her hind legs as if she were speed skating. For cutter, she bites stuff with her sharp teeth. For needle, her fur sticks on end, and pokes anything that comes near, all while rushing forward. For stone, she starts rolling at high speed on top of a boulder.

Emile the Moth

- From Luca-Kid on April 10th, 2010

Most charecters in Kirby are always happy and smiling. But aren't there any Dream Landers who are sad? Well, meet Emile the moth. He is always depressed and non-caring. Emile is a dark grey moth with light grey wings and red squinting eyes. He has antennae with medium grey balls at the tip. Even though he doesn't like much. He seems to enjoy traveling with Kirby. When Kirby teams up with Emile, he latches on Kirby's back, only revealing his antennae and wings (Poor guy doesn't like showing himself...). When Emile is with Kirby, they glide instead of float. Not only is gliding faster, but it also reduces Kirby's body size, letting him go through skinny passages. However, Emile will get tired out after some time, and cease gliding (You can also cancel gliding anytime by pressing jump again).

Like all other animal friends, Emile alters abilities. The ways he does are:

Burning: Emile flaps his wings and shoots a burst of hot air, lifting him up. The hot air and Emile hurt enemies in this attack

Ice: Emile shoots three puffs of powder snow, one straight up, one up and right, and one up and left. When these hit the ground, each one bursts into 3 more smaller puffs that bounce back up and down and fade away.

Spark: Kirby throws Emile, who is surrounded by electricity. You can control Emile for a few seconds, but after the time is up or you press the attack button again, lightning will crackle around Emile. Afterwards, Emile returns to Kirby.

Cutter: Emile preforms a loop de loop, slashing with his wings.

Stone: Emile turns into a rock, and Kirby smashes him in front of him. When used in the air, Kirby can control where he lands.

Needle: Emile grows spikes on his back, and Kirby holds him like a shield. In exchange for losing protection above and behind, he can walk (but not dash).

Parasol: Kirby spins the parasol in front of him, while Emile flaps his wings, moving them forward. This makes the 'Parasol Drill' move from KSS

Clean: Emile, being the sad sack he is, starts crying, shooting tears in an arc. Out of the ends of the arc, small streams of more tears come out. These don't do damage, but can clean off stuff.

Parvati the Peacock

- From LakituAl on April 10th, 2010

While most of her body is purple, the feathers that make her tail fan alternate between yellow and orange. Her head also has three feathers that go upwards, the same color as the ones previously mentioned.

What is good about Parvati? She is fast. Her jumping is just as high as Kirby's and her swimming abilities are mediocre, but she makes it up with her speed, maneuverability and ease on the breaks. While running, she closes her feathered tail as to make running easier. You can also hold down after a jump to start fluttering her wings as to slow her gravity speed. Not quite useful for vertical range, but a master of the ground.

When Kirby inhales and/or spit, she just lowers her head to make things easier.

Spark: Electricity allows her to start spinning her tail fan in a propeller fashion so she can do what many other birds can: fly. The propeller is the one that deals damage, so this is only practical for moving purposes.

Stone: Kirby turns into stone (I can't believe it!) and Parvati uses her tail to propel him upwards. Keep holding the B button to make her throw Kirby farther and farther each time. Sadly, while doing this she is open to attacks. Good for reaching items above.

Parasol: Her tail turns into a dome shape and covers both characters, with Parvati's head sticking out. The "dome" deals damage and covers from projectiles. If the B button is pressed for too long, however, her feathers will fall off and you'll have to let go of the button for a few seconds. Can move slowly while doing using this ability.

Freeze: She swats her tail forward to create a freezing cold air current. It has a mildly sized range, as it will vanish a few "squares" forward. However, it can freeze enemies like in any other game.

Cutter: As she spins her head once, the three feathers on her head form a boomerang that goes forward. It has an excellent horizontal distance, but mediocre vertical range.

Clean: She will face towards the background and start sweeping with her tail, alternating from side to side. Good horizontal range.

Burning: She will turn back towards the BG and release 5 burning feathers, each towards a different direction, that disappear after a second. Mostly defensive.

Needle: She hides her tail and goes forward while spinning in a drill like fashion. Not affected by gravity when used in mid air. Mostly offensive.

Ko the Lizard

- From Airride_Master on April 10th, 2010

Ko is NOT your average komodo! He has an ovular body, a stumpy tail, a ovular head, and four stumpy legs with 3 claws on each. (He is 1.5 Kirbys high, and 3 long) high Kirby rides on his back, doing almost nothing. He Does exceptionally well in warm environments, such as deserts and near lava, his attacks going faster, and he moves quickly, also jumping higher. On the contrary, in ice levels, He isn't one to pick, for his sluggish nature. Like Rick and Chuchu, His love is Ka, who is in a underground cavern, hiding out. To attack, he will just straight out eat 'em, even devouring the pet horror called Propeller.

Fire-Ko will shoot several fireballs at different angles. You can stop early by pressing 'B' again.

Ice-Ko tuns Kirby into an Ice block, who he flings forward. This lasts around 4 second without Kirby.

Cutter-Ko's claws turn into massive talons, as he slashes in front of him. Kirby has a surprised look on his face as you slash and hack.

Clean-Ko inhales lots of air, dust, and enemies when he attacks. When he grabs an enemy, then he will carry it, until you attack again, Then he will blow all enemies and dust away from him.

Needle-Kirby rolls Ko into a ball, then proceeds to roll him forward while Ko (somehow) grows rotating spikes on his back.

Stone-Ko Grabs Kirby's feet, who then proceeds to shoot rocks out of his mouth. This can be angled by pressing 'Up'.

Parasol-Ko turns bipedal (two legged for the people who haven't gone to school) and turns Kirby into a parasol. Ko is an L shape while using this.

Spark-Ko charges his scales with electricity. Game continues as normal, but when you touch enemy's you take no damage, and they are damaged.

Yema the Bat

- From KrackoCloud on April 10th, 2010

Yema's body is not unlike that of a Batty's, consisting only of a head and wings. She has two squinted eyes and a small, unseen mouth. Her body and wings are blue.

Yema sits perched on Kirby. The air is Yema's specialty, and she can fly extremely fast by using jump repeatedly in the air. When not moving, she continues flapping her wings, but there is a slight descent.

Yema is the most unorthodox with her dashes. Instead of running, she jumps forward in a steep arc, then lands again. While not very useful for moving forward, what's interesting about this short burst is that the arc movement can be interrupted with flight or attacks to leave the pair airborne.

Burning: Yema shoots a fireball that starts slowly, then accelerates to a high speed.

Clean: Yema transforms into a bat-winged broom that seeks the nearest enemy, sweeps its current location, and returns. Although the attack has nearly sure-hit properties, it leaves Kirby vulnerable for a very long time.

Cutter: Kirby unleashes boomerang cutters around him in a two-legged spiral pattern. Has great range.

Ice: Yema spits out an ice crystal. On contact, it explodes into a snowflake, freezing an enemy as well as those around it.

Needle: While moving, Kirby shoots a stream of needles in the opposite direction. Tricky to use, but very effective in when mastered, especially in the air.

Parasol: Yema dons the parasol on her head and drills in a chosen direction.

Spark: Yema creates a burst of lightning a few spaces in front of her that travels vertically the entire screen's height. The attack happens in a flash, and spacing is awkward, so a good sense of timing and zoning are key.

Stone: Yema spreads her wings and petrifies, as if a gargoyle. This attack is fundamentally just a larger Stone, but the spreading of her wings can also hurt enemies even if the two transform while grounded.

Sprint the Weasel

- From ghostmetaknight on April 10th, 2010

Sprint the Weasel is rather long and thin. A trickster by nature, he can be rather careless and obnoxious. He also loves to steal things. Because of this, in game, he is able to run very fast and slip through small spaces that other animal friends can't. And Kirby doesn't get in the way of this because, much to his dismay, he rides on Sprint's tail, and has to hold on tight! Instead of inhaling, he'll do a short dash attack with his mouth open. Once he has something in his mouth, he is quick to act, and will spit foes out if you don't react quickly. Instead of floating, he can perform a double jump. The second jump is shorter, but Sprint will spin, doing about a much damage to foes as an air puff.

Burning: Sprint will do a Suplex-esque dash forward. If he catches an enemy, he'll hold it in front of Kirby, who will breathe a jet of flame on to the foe. The fire can hurt others nearby.

Parasol: Kirby jumps into the the air and floats down with his parasol. Sprint (who Kirby is holding onto with the other hand) panics, and slashes in front of his face the whole way down.

Clean: Kirby turns into a brush, and Sprint jumps up and pushes Kirby forward with his tail. Soon Kirby is racing forward. While Kirby is invulnerable, sprint is suspended in midair, and open to attacks. You have to hold B to use it. When B is released, the attack stops.

Spark: Kirby jumps up and hits Sprint on the back. Sprint coughs up a piece of machinery he stole earlier, which crackles with electricity and bounces forward. It goes through multiple enemies, but bounces over some.

Needle: Sprint puts on a devilish grin as his claws grow huge, and slashes in a wide arc.

Cutter: Sprint turns into a cutter, and Kirby swings him around himself. This attack goes on for as long as you hold B, and you can't do anything while it's going.

Stone: A stolen jackhammer comes out of sprint's mouth, and Kirby uses him to bounce forward slowly, while little rocks bounce out and damage foes as well.

Skipp the Lion

Skipp is a male lion cub with tannish, yellowish short-length fur. He walks and runs faster than every other animal friend. When accompanied by Skipp, Kirby rides on his back. He can only jump once but slightly higher than the others. Skipp uses his tail to keep Kirby from falling off his back.

When not being accompanied by Kirby, Skipp is sitting. When a different animal friend is helping Kirby, Skipp lies down frowning. When attacking without using a copy ability, Skipp crouches down as Kirby inhales the bad guy. When crouching down and pressing X, Skipp jumps and pounces the bad guy if timed right (keep in mind this move still doesn't work with bosses.)

His friend, Suzie, is a baby blue furred cub with a dark blue head band on her head, along with a blue flower attached to it. Like the other animal friend's loved ones, she wishes she could see Skipp again.

Fire: Skipp grows a mane made of blue fire. When used, he starts shaking his head, making sparks of blue fire fly everywhere around them.

Spike: Skipp opens his mouth wide, baring sharp teeth while his fur at the end of his tail is sharp and spiked. Skipp violently shuts his mouth once you let go of the button.

Spark: Skipp stamps his tail to the ground, creating a blue shock wave to destroy every bad guy a few steps away.

Ice: Kirby turns into a frozen blue and pulls on Skipp's tail, making him tumble over and transforming them into a giant snowball that rolls across the path (similar to the double ice combo in Kirby 64). You can see Skipp and Kirby's faces while the snowball is rolling.

Clean: Kirby takes out a mop and drags it on the ground while Skipp is walking/running. this also leaves water soaking on the ground for a few seconds, making it slippery for both Skipp and the bad guys. If the bad guys walk on the ground while it's still wet, they will slip and die.

Stone: Skipp takes the form of a rock. Skipp can't walk or run in this form. He can, however, jump weakly, and slide quickly down hills. Bad guys will also be hit by this form even if Skipp isn't moving.

Parasol: Kirby takes out a white and red umbrella and can stab it into bad guys as if it were a sword. This power can be used while Skipp is walking/running. When in the air, Skipp can grab ahold of the umbrella with his tail as well so they both land slowly.

Cutter: Skipp will grab Kirby with his tail as Kirby forms into the shape of a triangle. Skipp will then swing Kirby back and forth.

Sam the Dog

- From JAMESGHOST on April 9th, 2010

This guy wears a navy coat and is cheerful and carefree. He loves it when Kirby takes him out for a stroll. He is a fast runner this dog and when he starts running he's hard to stop. Although Sam is fast he isn't very strong, he doesn't even have the strength to let Kirby ride on his back. So Kirby can be seen holding a leash walking behind Sam as you control him, Because Sam is very fast, Kirby won't be on the ground for long, instead he will be hovering a bit above the ground holding on to Sam's leash, as I said before Sam is hard to stop once he's running so you can't just let go of the D-pad instead you have to press down to brake and Kirby will smash into the ground in front of you as a bit of a attack. Sam can jump as high as Kirby but he cannot float or mid-air jump,

instead he can wall kick off walls upwards Mario style. Sam does the eating as Kirby is behind him, Sam can gobble enemies while he's running or walking, he doesn't inhale and takes twice as long to swallow though.

Sam's swimming is normal.

Only Sam transforms when you have a Abilities, but it's the leash that makes them interesting.

Needle: Sam turns into a Ball with 2 sharp points as his ears and can dart into walls.

Stone: Sam turns into a Rock still attached to the leash Kirby can swing him around as a bommyknocker.

Cutter: Sam turns into a Axe with Kirby as the wielder, slash trees and enemies with a powerful cut!

Ice: Sam turns into a block of ice, Kirby can push him around as a shield as he won't hurt anything till you push him flying down a hill with Kirby still hanging onto the leash.

Electricity: Sam turns into a power plug, throw him into a patch of ground to zap all grounded enemies, the closer the more damaged (the plug takes 10 seconds to recharge though).

Clean: Sam turns into a Vacuum Cleaner (I know you can already suck things up) but the vacuum cleans dust, sucks up moles and enemies on platforms below you! (but you cannot gain other abilities this way).

Fire: Sam turns into a bomb with his leash as the fuse, Kirby stills holds onto it though, but Kirby won't get hurt by the blast, you can aim where to through him by holding the button.

Parasol: Sam turns into a umbrella which Kirby holds in front of him, enemies bounce of Sam but only lose half their health (Sam can only stay like that for 3 seconds then must take a 2 second break).

All these attacks are from holding B and thats all for Sam the Dog.

Swoth the Tarantula

- From KrackoCloud on April 9th, 2010

Swoth is a pudgy, brown tarantula, with short, stubby legs, four eyes, and a small mouth. His abdomen has an orange blot, where Kirby rides.

Swoth is adapted to quick, horizontally-oriented aerial movements. He's rather slow on the ground, and his running will decelerate over time to a speed not much faster than a normal walk.

His jumps have good height and travel far, but are also very fast due to his heavy weight, making them somewhat unorthodox.

Swoth can cling onto walls, allowing him to wall-jump. However, these wall-jumps are mainly for horizontal movement, and are almost pointless for trying to travel vertically.

In addition, Swoth can glide on water for a short amount of time before he falls in, where he moves even slower.

Instead of inhaling, Swoth will pounce forward and try to devour a nearby enemy. This pounce attack can double as an aerial maneuver, and if he starts a pounce in the air and hits a wall, he immediately enters a wall-climb.

Burn: Swoth becomes engulfed in flames and performs a huge pounce in a large arc, covering good distance. This is a powerful attack, and is also useful for moving quickly.

Cleaning: Swoth spits a clump of web to Kirby, who sweeps it away with a broom. The result is something like a tumbleweed that damages enemies in its path.

Cutter: Kirby turns into a cutter blade, attached to Swoth by a thin string. Towards the peak of the blade's travel, Swoth swings Kirby in a large arc around him before pulling him back. On ground, the swing is counterclockwise, while in the air, it is clockwise, letting Swoth hit enemies below him while he travels over them.

Ice: Swoth leans back and spits out a stream of icy silk in an arc. If he is on the ground, he can slowly move left and right while still shooting the string. If he is in the air, Swoth will aim slightly lower, and will be pushed backwards in the initial burst.

Needle: Swoth's jaws become large pincers. He lunges forward swiftly attacks with them, and then they turn back to normal.

Parasol: Kirby hovers with a parasol while Swoth, attached to the parasol by silk, falls downward and climbs back up to Kirby. Enemies in Swoth's path are damaged, while Kirby remains vulnerable. If performed on the ground, Kirby will be launched into the air first as a projectile, wielding the parasol. He will then pull up Swoth as a secondary attack. By the end of the attack, the pair will be airborne.

Spark: Swoth spits out a web that acts as an electric net. On contact (with an enemy or the level), the web sticks and continues to zap its covered area. The web lasts a very long time, but only one can be on the screen at a time - Using it again gets rid of the previous.

Stone: Swoth pounces forward powerfully. As he launches, the two merge and petrify, becoming like a speeding cannonball. If the attack button is held after landing, they will continue rolling, forcefully knocking away enemies. However, they will not transform back if they roll until they lose momentum, sometimes leaving them susceptible to gaps.

Stinks the Skunk

- From Ghost the kirby on April 9th, 2010

Stinks is very helpful, but if you don't use her in time, she falls asleep. Stinks is black and whitish-gray and about the size of Rick with Gooey on his head. Kirby rides on Stinks by either using a gas bubble, (don't worry, Kirby has a gas mask!), or just riding on her tail.

Fire: Exploding stink: Using her gas, Stinks has a explosive combo when blowing fire.

Clean: Kirb-sweep: Using her tail and her and Kirby's clean ability, Stinks whacks Kirby with her tail and then Kirby uses his broom to sweep his enemies while the sweep wave from Stinks tail follows for those more than one-hit enemies.

Spike: Double stink crusade: After Stinks and Kirby roll into a spiny ball, Stinks lets out her stink to cover Kirby and hers spines while they roll into the enemies

Parasol: Using her gas, with Kirby under her, Stinks lifts her parasol, just make sure she doesn't fall asleep.

Bristles the Pig

- From GameQube on April 9th, 2010

Bristles is quite a friendly animal. Her skin is pink but much darker than Kirby's. She has a large red bow on her head and a curly tail. Kirby rides on her back when paired up with her. The best thing about Bristles is that you go a little faster on land while riding her and can jump further than Kirby. Unfortunately she has the worst traction of all the animal friends and can't float at all, so one high jump is all you get. She inhales just like Kirby, except she can move while inhaling.

Burning: Bristles runs very fast with a fire shield in front of her and Kirby.

Needle: Bristles shoots a spike from her mouth which stops if it his an enemy or a wall. Three spikes can be on the screen at a time.

Clean: Bristles turns her tail into a broom which protect her and Kirby from the back and automatically cleans anything she walks over. If the attack button is pressed she quickly turns around to swat enemies in front of her.

Spark: Bristles gets static cling temporarily when the attack button is pressed and nearby enemies and star blocks stick to her and are destroyed upon contact.

Parasol: Kirby starts spinning a parasol, Bristles kicks it, then it travels along the ground until it fall off a cliff or is launched off a ramp. if it goes off-screen or Kirby touches it, the attack can be used again.

Stone: Kirby transforms into a stone, Bristles launches him, and Kirby rolls back to Bristles quickly. Any enemies in the way of Kirby will be destroyed.

Cutter: Bristle's tail turns into a cutter and she spins rapidly for about 4 seconds. It is possible to move while doing this but you won't be able to jump.

Hip the Monkey

- From Wadd the Epic Dee on April 9th, 2010

A small tan half the size of Kirby with a tail the length of his body, beady black eyes, and small circular ears, and wears orange shoes. Instead of the common method of riding the pet partner, Kirby holds on Hip's tail, while Hip sits patiently. However, Hip has the ability to hang from most walls as well as climb them, while Kirby simply hangs on to his tail. Being hit while hanging or climbing can often be fatal when over a cliff though, but it makes up for the lack of flight.

To tell the truth, Hip usually has no idea what is going on.

When Kirby has burn, Hip lobs a small ball of fire behind him, landing somewhere in front of Kirby, and continues to burn there for a short while. When Kirby has clean, Hip suddenly resemble the shape of a vacuum cleaner and inhales, if he catches an enemy, the enemy will be stuck to Hip's mouth in a suction like fashion until the attack button is released, causing the enemy to shoot forward. For cutter, Kirby swings Hip, who suddenly resembles a Pirate's sword, either to the left, right, or upwards. For ice, Kirby hops on a frozen Hip and slides forward a short distance. For needle, Kirby swings forward a spiky club like Hip. For parasol, Kirby swings Hip in an upwards motion, when in midair, Hip's head pops open like an umbrella, then the two slowly float down, if the attack button is pressed again, the umbrella like head closes and is pointed downwards, to stab into the ground. For spark, Hip hops onto Kirby and rubs his his feet on his head, Causing sparks to lob in random directions. And finally, for stone, Kirby turns into a rock, while hip very slowly pushes from behind, or can attempt to jump in order to to stun some enemies for a short time.

He is not hurt by lava and can take Kirby into lava by folding his wings in a dome to protect Kirby. Similar to Coo, he can fly but, because he is only young, he has some trouble in high wind. In water, he swims by waving his tail, like a eel.

Fire- he breaths fire. He's a dragon, so what else do you expect?

Ice- he creates a icy wind by flapping his wings, freezing anything in the way.

Cutter- he grabs Kirby, who will throw a blade.

Clean- he sweeps his tail back and forth, destroying anything in the way.

Rock- Kirby turns into a rock, and Dibl rolls him, smashing anything in the way.

Spike- he uses his horns to hit anything in the way.

Spark- he gains electricity in his horns, which he uses to zap things.

Parasol- both Dibl and Kirby get parasols, which they use to hit opponents from front and behind.

Squishy the Sea Cucumber

- From Someone You Know on April 8th, 2010

Squishy looks like what he is named for. He's green, pickle-shaped, has large bumps on his body, and is twice as tall as Kirby. His only claim to anthropomorphism is a hole for a mouth and a pair of greenish cheek-spots. Doesn't sound too bad at first, but then you throw in his nasty habits. For one thing, he swallows Kirby, while Kirby must move forward from inside Squishy's body. Another is how he "feeds" Kirby the enemies; by lashing out a set of orange tentacles around an ejected stomach. Along with these, Squishy's unexplainable dripping, and occasional squishing noises, the sea cucumber's the less appealing of the Animal Friends, and thus one of the least popular. Still, Squishy does give an advantage over the others.

Though Squishy may be silent, simple, and downright disgusting, this little sea-pickle is full of heart and enthusiasm, eager to please his pink friend. When released from the his prison in Coral Cove (a small level where he's located), he is more than happy to devote his powers to Kirby. The little sea cucumber is an integral character for some of the (literal) tight squeezes on some of the levels, and his back siphon allows him to get airborne for a few seconds. In the water (his ideal terrain), it has a similar upward effect. In both places, however, Squishy (rather, Kirby inside Squishy) is condemned to the floor.

Burning: Squishy melts into a boiling puddle. Enemies might slip and slide in Squishy as the puddle slowly expands, if they don't fry in it first.

Clean: The sea cucumber secretes a sudsy slime trail, and he simply slides across the terrain. The area behind is wiped free of dust and dirt, while enemies in front of Squishy slip under Squishy, "cleansed" of their existence.

Cutter:Squishy spits up a small bolus on the end of a long thread, which he lashes around in a circle at enemy-cutting speeds. If the B button is pressed and held for long enough, the bolus will be released upward as a little bomb.

Ice: Squishy's body, being made of water, suddenly freezes up, becoming a rock-solid ice ball. He rolls around, smushing enemies.

Needle: When activated, the sea cucumber stops in his (Kirby's) tracks, and suddenly grows a thick, spike-ridden carapace, deterring enemies. If held long enough, Squishy actually explodes, impaling enemies in all directions. Kirby's rendered vulnerable for a second until Squishy regenerates.

Parasol: Kirby steps outside of the cucumber for once, but then, he pulls out a tube from Squishy's mouth and pulls him "open" like an umbrella. Kirby's slightly vulnerable, but the orange tubes and lumps which wiggle and slap enemies protect the puffball.

Spark: When the B button is held, Squishy hunkers down and generates a powerful electric shockwave. Depending on how long you hold the button down, the wave can either hurt a couple of enemies or obliterate the entire screen-full of them.

Stone: Squishy does what sea cucumbers are famous for; his skin slowly shrinks until it fits Kirby like a skin-tight suit. Kirby's free to walk around, and enemies actually bounce off of the barrier. However, Squishy's epidermis eventually grows so tight that he must release, becoming an immobile lump for a second before returning to start.

Henry's abilities are: Clean= Kirby spray bottle, where Kirby turns into a spray bottle and sprays his soapy water at enemies to defeat them.

Cutter= Henry coughs up a fish skeleton that acts like a boomerang but when it hits a wall it will fly into pieces that also defeat enemies. Spark= Kirby becomes a battery and plugs in to Henry's back which makes Henry so that he can run around and zap enemies with himself only works for a short period of time. Fire= Henry holds Kirby in front of him and Kirby spits out fireballs.

Ice= Henry slides on his belly with a blizzard around them freezing foes. Needle= Henry's beak gets very long and pointy and a spike comes out of Kirby's head you can use the control pad to tilt their heads. Parasol= Kirby jousts, while he rides Henry he can thrust his parasol into on coming enemies.

Reili the Butterfly

- From Kirbypie123 on April 8th, 2010

Reili is, well, a butterfly. She has a tan, ringed center, and brown antenna. Her wings change color depending on where she appears, but more often than not they are a slight tint of blue with two pink dots on each. She hangs on to Kirby's back. When with Reili, Kirby does the inhaling, but differently then normal. Reili will shoot a blast of air that rockets Kirby forward as he inhales. Once the target is in Kirby's mouth, Reili will fly towards him and reattach. The duo flies by Reili flapping her wings. She can't do this forever, and not at all while Kirby's mouth is full.

With Fire, Reili can leave behind flames while flying. With Clean, Reili's wings become long and feathery, destroying all enemies they touch. With Cutter, Reili can use one of her wings as a sharp blade for Kirby to hold. With Ice, Reili can flap her wings, summoning a diamond-dust flurry that follows Kirby around, protecting him. Needle causes Reili to tighten her grip on Kirby, making him spit up needles. Parasol makes Reili's wings expand, causing more drift time in the air. Spark fires energy balls out of Reili's antenna. Stone while in the air, causes Kirby to become rock solid, crashing down on the field and making a shock wave.

Clue the Tiger

- From eat911 on April 8th, 2010

Clue has orange and white fur. On the tips of his ears are two small black tufts of fur. He can't fly but if you run and jump at a wall he will run up it for a few seconds by digging in his claws before falling off. His jumps are long and they move quickly. In the water, he attacks by slashing his claws forward. This attack has less range than the water gun, but does a bit more damage and can be used a bit faster. While Kirby is riding Clue, his movement speed is in the middle of Kirby's and Rick's. To inhale, Clue's mouth moves forward and he grabs whatever enemy is in front of him with his mouth but doesn't swallow the enemy. If you choose to spit it out, Clue will throw the enemy with his mouth with an arch similar to that of the bomb ability. While in the water Clue's movement speed is half the speed of Kirby's is.

Fire- With the fire ability, Clue can shoot a medium-sized fireball behind him with his tail. The speed of the fireball is like this.

Clue___()___()___()__enemy

The circles are fireballs and the dashes make up the ground.

When in the air, Clue will aim the fireballs beneath him.

Clean- With clean, an electronic Romba vacuum cleaner will appear under Clue and he sits down. You move the same speed and in the direction you were facing when you used the ability. Any enemy you hit takes light damage. Try not to fall off cliffs.

Cutter- With cutter, Clue's tail throws small boomerangs in a lobbing type attack. They do a medium amount of damage. These boomerangs get stuck in the ground and last for 5 seconds or until an enemy runs into one. If an enemy runs into one, that enemy takes the same amount of damage as if they got hit by a boomerang. If there are 3 boomerangs stuck into the ground, then Clue can't throw anymore until one of them disappears or he picks one up by walking over it.

Ice- With ice, Clue creates an ice ball about the size of Kirby. His movement remains the same except he now bats the ball in front of him and grabs it in his mouth when jumping or climbing up walls. To attack Clue smacks the ball at an enemy and then the ball rolls slowly back. This does high damage. When clue doesn't have the ball, he can't move away from it until he touches it.

Example: Clue hits ball at enemy on the right of his screen. Clue can't move left until he regains possession of the ball, so he jumps over another enemy and walks over to the ball. He can now move in all directions again.

Needle- With needle, Clue's tail can launch upwards and deal large amounts of damage to flying enemies. When in the air or water, Clue's tail shoots forward.

Parasol- With parasol, Clue gets an umbrella underneath him. This cuts movement speed in half and causes him to be constantly bouncing. His jump changes also, they only go up and don't move as quickly. To damage enemies, Clue simply has to land on them. This however, does low damage.

Spark- With spark, Clue can open his mouth to shoot millions of small sparks directly in front of him. This does medium-low damage to enemies.

Stone- With stone, Clue becomes a tiger statue and becomes part of the background. Enemies walk past him without paying attention. By pressing the button again, Clue will fall over and squash anyone who was in front of his statue. After this Clue won't be able to move for a second and the other enemies can attack him. This attack does medium-high damage.

Shaeno the Hedgehog

- From pcfan10 on April 8th, 2010

Shaeno has a thin, short VERY dark green body with two blank black eyes, and a small mouth usually open. His brown spikes are 2 feet tall, and are as thin as a toothpick. His arms and legs are made up of black circles.

When you first get him in your 2 man party, Kirby shall wear Shaeno like a hat, obviously it protects you from airborne enemies, but it also slows down flying due to his limp body.

Spark - When holding the attack button, Shaeno's spikes will have a shield of Electricity around them, you are able to move while holding the button, but cannot jump or fly.

Clean - The team shall switch places as Kirby stands on the belly of Shaeno, the spikes twist and tilt to gather a dust cloud, the team goes back to normal, but with the dust cloud beside them, pressing the attack button sends off the cloud horizontally onto an enemy. The procedure can be repeated by pressing the button.

Cutter - Kirby grabs the spikes and bends them with his foot, and throws the now cutter-like spike across the screen.

Burning - Pressing the attack button releases a speedy, flaming spike across the screen, BUT, if you press the button 2 or 3 times, there will be either 2 or 3 spikes sent in 2 or 3 different locations which will get rid of an enemy-fest.

Ice - Kirby inhales an enemy, freezes it into an ice cube, and lets Shaeno shatter the cube with his spikes.

Needle - By holding the attack button, each of Shaeno's spikes will get very large one at a time as you can proceed as normal.

Parasol - Kirby inhales air, and spits it out to make Shaeno jump up very high, they then drift down.

Stone - Shaeno's spikes become rock solid, and Kirby throws them onto the ground, only really works well with levels with hills.

Ribo the Echidna

- From Ybrik on April 7th, 2010

No, Ribo does not look like Knuckles. A plump (round-ish) Echidna with small beady eyes, long snout, four feet, and lots of spikes. The body is light tan, and the spikes are white with brown points. He is about as big as Rick.

Kirby rides on Ribo doing a handstand (yes, a handstand) on his back, looking obviously like he's trying to avoid those needles.

Ribo usually waddles on its feet, but he can also curl up, exposing only his spikes, and roll around dangerous areas where one can't usually fly through (For example, a spiky floor and ceiling). Kirby can choose to stay inside the curl or outside, standing on tiptoes on top of the spiky ball. When Ribo is in this state, he can murder enemies just by rolling into them. So yes, Ribo is the best roller.

Ribo uses a long pink tongue to eat.

Clean: Toothpick Ribo (uses a long-ish toothpick to attack. If the enemy has a mouth, the toothpick will stay there)

Cutter: Robi Missile (shoots spikes. Need I say more? Oh, right. The spikes home on the enemy... for a bit)

Electricity: Kirby Electron (Kirby will turn into three small balls, flying around Robi, doing shock damage to enemies)

Fire: Kirby Sizzle (Ribo rolls Kirby flat and Kirby... sizzles like a pancake, damaging enemies with burn!)

Ice: Ribo Icicle (Ribo faces backwards, and Kirby plucks off icicles from Ribo's back and throws them)

Spike: Double Roll (Ribo curls into a spiky ball, and so does Kirby. Both of them roll around)

Stone: Ribo Gordo (Ribo curls into an invincible rocky spike ball, and Kirby lifts him up to float around. Ribo can roll down slopes in this state. Both are invincible, but speed is greatly diminished)

Parasol: Ribo Parachute (Ribo glides around on his new Parasol-topped spikes, Kirby hangs under)

Snappy the Crab

- From Chibi- Pohatu on April 7th, 2010

Snappy has a orange shell with two oval-shaped green eyes within his shell, and little more of a face than that. He has six legs, and, naturally, moves sideways. While this makes him slow, he makes up for it with enhanced stamina. Being in water only helps him marginally.

Kirby rides atop the oversized crustacean at a slight angle, so at least one of them can know where they're going.

For the Burning ability, Kirby is placed in Snappy's claws and ignites, with the crab going along for the ride. This slows Kirby down, but the ignition lasts longer than usual.

For Cutter, the crab's claws open to reveal twin buzz saws. These remain for as long as the button is held.

For Stone, Kirby becomes a massive boulder, creating a reversed version of Rick. The crab carefully guides the rock through the area until the button is pressed again.

Needle causes Snappy to compact into a top form in which he can move about. This form remains for as long as the button is held.

Spark makes his claws a tazer, enabling him to move about and shock foes. This lasts until the button is pressed again.

As for Ice, he creates a massive ice shield, which remains for as long as the player holds the button. Releasing it causes the shield to shatter, flinging ice in all directions. The range is limited, however.

For Parasol, he puts the umbrella below him and spins it about, enabling them to move about on any terrain. They are vulnerable from above, however.

And finally, for Clean, Snappy pulls out a mop and thrashes it around wildly, sending soap and suds everywhere. Naturally, he does this for as long as the button is pressed.

Slick the Tarantula

- From mrgameandpie on April 7th, 2010

Slick is very similar to the appearance of Mariel. The only real differences are the fact that he actually has eight legs, an abdomen, brown fur, and eight small yellow eyes. Slick is capable of walking up walls, ceilings, on top of water and is not affected much by walking on ice. Kirby rides on top of Slicks abdomen. To take enemies in Slick turns around, shoots webbing out of his abdomen and takes the enemy into his body. Turning around is automatic at the press of the attack button. If Slick does not hit something he will be vulnerable for a moment, but for only about half a second.

Clean: Slick puts washcloths on his feet and slides about on them. Movement becomes like that of normal characters on ice.

Cutter: Slick turns around and shoots out cutter-shaped webbing at his foe. Like his standard attack he turns around automatically.

Spark: Slick roots his legs to the ground as Kirby shoots electricity through his body. The electricity goes through Slick and enters the ground attacking ground foes nearby.

Fire: Slick turns around and shoots out webbing onto the ground. The webbing will then ignites two seconds later. The fire hurts both enemies and the player. As always when shooting webbing Slick automatically turns around.

Ice: Slick turns around, shoots webbing and Kirby freezes it solid. The webbing can then be pushed into foes.

Spike: Slick bends his knees so that his legs become a shield of needles.

Stone: Slick and Kirby turn into rocks. Because of the position of Slick's legs they move down hills slower than other friends.

Parasol: Slick sticks his legs up as they grow parasols on their ends. Kirby can then blow upwards to raise their height. They move faster up and down than sideways.

Spunt the Dino

- From Bimblesnaff on April 7th, 2010

A lazy, yellow triceratops carries the player on the back of his neck. His body is broad and stumpy. A blue stripe runs down his back and short tail while another crosses his frill. His stubby legs have three nailed toes and three small spikes emerge from his face. His eyes are normally closed and docile. His girth takes up full size (a 2x2 area) but also enables him to squash small by falling onto them.

This dinosaur doesn't move faster or jump higher but offers special defense in chaotic areas. Since of his size, ducking only flattens him to half his regular size, which means he cannot dodge attacks. His hard head can, however, deflect certain projectiles. Similar to guarding with a Parasol, frontward attacks are blocked when in the squatting position.

Like many rides, Spunt has trouble getting over high walls. Rather than jumping or climbing up, his effortless solution is to simply float. Taking in air (executed the same way Kirby does), his body plumps up (more) and begins to drift upward. The rise is at a constant rate and cannot be slowed or quickened, although it can be steered side to side. Upon deflating, there is no air pellet.

Sloth isn't the dino's only vice. Ever the glutton, he eats up enemies in place of the rider. Opening his massive mouth, he has to be walked into a target to gobble it up. When spitting out the star, it is low to the ground. Underwater, the standard bubble gun is produced.

A torch leaps from his mouth with Burn, similar to his cousin Galbo. While narrow, the flame is far reaching. The attack continues as long as the button is held down.

Spunt changes into a broom with Clean and sweeps side to side. Upon holding left or right, he'll brush in that direction only. This causes him to slowly move that way.

Cutter has the dino transform into a large blade that rises upward before turning around and returning down. The path can be nudged to either side by pressing that direction. This mode is temporarily invincible.

A chilly sled is made with Ice. It has low traction and can slide far across the ground if used down a slope or with a running start. In this form, the combined height is reduced, and the pair can cross through low passages. The top and back are vulnerable during use.

The three horns on his head stand point with Needle. Anything touching the spikes are damaged; however, the rest is unprotected. Spunt can walk and jump in this state but cannot change his direction, duck, or inflate.

Parasol has the dinosaur curl up into a ball while the two-tone canopy emerges from below. It drills downward. In air, it drops slightly slower than a free fall but faster than a standard drift.

High voltage surges when using Spark. A strong current is released straight upward a short distance. Pressing left or right angles it slightly to that direction. The sides are unprotected while using the ability.

Spunt channels the ankylosaur with Stone. His rider transforms into a rock while clutching the end of his tail and gets slammed in a wide arc overhead from one side to the other.
