Okay so I haven't been updating in forever, but I've been around. =D I haven't left KRR nor do I
plan to anytime soon, but I have been bad I know. Ivy posted a while back, that we were hiring for staff.
We were, but because I'm lazy so we're doing it again. Things are going to be a bit different, there is no so and so runs this section. Hopefully we can get some people who are interested in working on all areas of the site, but are more than welcome to lean in one specific area. A few sections are territory, like I know Ivy must approve anything going into the anime section, and I'm like that with the game guides, respectively.
We just need some people who are passionate about Kirby, and interested on working with the site. This is voluntary of course, and we've all been voluntarily putting our own time into the site for years, so keep that in mind. There are few perks besides doing something you enjoy around here.

It's important that anyone interested, doesn't have to be a current member, but should join the forums as that's the main way we all keep in touch. It's also a good way to be familiar with the community, as it's them who built KRR, not us. It's also the way to submit your interest in joining, by private messaging me on the forums. =)
Hey all! No sub or other update yet, but related to that: we need people
to help seed the batch torrents! Lots of people are trying to watch
Kirby, but there aren't enough seeders! If you can, PLEASE head over and
seed the torrents for a while! Thanks.
Um, just one sub today! But one of the best,
'Loyalty! Sword and Blade'. Also, eps 21-25 have a batch torrent
now. USE THAT ONE if you don't have those eps- I'll delete the
individual torrents after a few days.

My current KRR projects are working on the anime characters section,

And yet another art update! This time the Kirby's Air Ride gallery
has a HUGE update- with a few dozen new pieces of art! And I've updated
a lot of the old stuff. Instead of looking like this...
Now most of them look like THIS. Huge- and no watermarks from other
sites! XD
Awesome, eh? :D So go look! Not all of em are big but a lot are. I'll
have more art next time hopefully.
Super Smash Brother Brawl is really going to turn out to be a hit, isn't it? I guess we can't really expect anything less than greatness from old Masahiro Sakurai-san. Maybe you have probably heard about the room he made open for fan input... The most of it seems to be over and done with, but it looks like if we (the fans) get our way, King Dedede will be in SSBB as well... Maybe. I'm also glad that Lucas and Claus from MOTHER3 are on that same list as well. One the things I seem to look foreward to SSB is just exactly how far they can take it... I wouldn't even mind if they pushed the realase back a month or so just to add on more stuff. Who else are you wishing for?
Anyway, while Ivyna has been running KRR in a rather caffinated fashion, I've been making updates too. They were all small, but they piled up over time, so here are the most of them, in case you didn't notice them.
There are two things in the sound area. The first is that a nice guy by the name of Burnin' Leo sent us the entire archive of sound effects from Kirby Super Star, they are also available in that RPG Maker section, since they will work quite well. Next, a guy by the name of Vergo has a very nice remix for us.
In other areas, the TV CM section was expanded a bit. I came across two CMs that are not listed on YouTube the other day. One in the japanese version of Kirby Super Star, and the other is the English Canvas Curse CM. Both of which are highly... Distrubing? Well, you can reach them here.
The two (three?) new games that are coming out for us sure seem exciting, don't they? I'm not too used to it, as we have not really had anything to report since Magic Paintbrush... Oh well, it's nice to be excited about something again.
Let's see. I added three new screenshots of Meta Knight to the
SSB Brawl gallery. AND I added an
SSB Melee gallery because we DIDN'T HAVE ONE. o_o We forgot. :D But
now it's there.
AND... I got a ton of official
Kirby 64 art! Yeah, probably stuff you've never seen! It was hard to
get. :E More art coming soon.
And we're looking for new staffers! Again! Yeah, we need some new
blood. It's not really for any specific section- it's for miscellaneous
stuff. People who know a lot about html and other website coding things
are always good, and people who can find cool stuff and help us finish
up some of our game sections which are in dire need of being finished
up.

From what KirbyWarrior and I have translated...
What we know of the plot: The mysterious thief gang 'Dorocche' has
appeared to challenge Kirby. They're trying to gather these special
treasure chests hidden all over- so you have to get them first.
The bottom screen with the bubbles is called the 'Copy Palette'.
There, you can stock abilities and items. The 'mixing' we've heard of
isn't like the mixing in K64. It's basically you can mix any two
abilities and get a random ability or item.
The abilities so far seem to have multiple attacks like in KSS. :D
If anyone in our audience knows kanji pretty well and can help us
translate more of the scan, that'd be great. XD
Indeed, Meta Knight has been shown to be a playable
character in Super Smash Bros Brawl! (Along with Wario, Pit, and SOLID
SNAKE.) He even has the HALBERD! Go to
IGN or the
official site for more pics and video, or I've also just collected
the Kirby and MK related stuff and put them in our
gallery! (There's also a new image in the new Kirby DS game section
:D)
I wonder what other surprises are in store?
EDIT: I added ANOTHER new pic of Meta Knight to the gallery and the
screenshots are improved :D (No IGN logo ahahaha)
...Amidst all the Wii hype at E3, another new Kirby game has been
announced! Yeah, weird! Dunno what's happened with the one for Gamecube,
but now we got pics, video and info for a DS one!
The
Kirby Canvas Curse
section has BIG updates! I've added all the Enemy info, and updated the
Abilities, Bosses, and Minigames sections. I'm looking for the official
art for the rest of Kirby's abilities for that game- if you have them,
please send them to me!

The World
of Kirby, and our own Jboy, we have a TON of gorgeous new art
in the
Canvas Curse Gallery. Oh man you gotta see this stuff, it's AWESOME.
We go 50 new background images and they're works of art.
Also more Music updates! Thanks to Kine the Genius we FINALLY have
high quality Mp3s for
Kirby's Dreamland! I've also updated the music for
Nightmare in Dreamland and
Amazing Mirror (thanks to Omata Korosu)
because there were problems with the old files and many of the track
names were wrong. But they should be mostly right now! :D
Okay, I added two new Japanese Kirby TV commercials. The Japanese Kirby Canvas Curse one, which I'm sure a lot of you have seen a million times, and the Japanese Kirby's Adventure one, which I really REALLY like :) That's it from me...for now.
If you can even call it that. Taking the "fan" out of the "fan section", the Front Page pic is returned under my control with a suggested pic by ... um... some guy. It was from January. I forget his name.
Kirby Warrior
and I have been working on fixing up our Music section... We've
found and translated most of the official names for the songs to
Kirby's
Adventure and Kirby
Superstar, so go look and get educated. =P
We're gonna work on getting the soundtracks to Kirby's
Dreamland 1 and 2 up (WAY overdue, eh?) as well as other little
fixes over time. :D If you would like to help us with this or
any other part of the site, please email me! We're always
looking for helping hands.
Also I need to mention I am not in charge of this site. KindarSpirit
is! It's just she is busy with life but I have no life so I
update more. :D She's done the majority of work on this site so
the majority of yer praise needs to go to her. XD I'm
technically just in charge of the anime section and have
delusions of grandeur.

Well where to
begin... First off, the entire
Kirby
Anime section has been COMPLETELY reorganized. It is now much
less cluttered. :D Pretty much EVERYTHING has been redone or added
to in some way, but bigger specific things:
The
Story section has been redone to now include a timeline and
articles on specific plot points- VERY useful if you write
fanfics and need to do some research!
All pictures and such have been combined into the
Art and Screenshots section, with better quality versions of
those images from last time thanks to ChewyStar in . :D
The Episode Guides have been updated, including a new
'Ratings ' section.
The rest is mainly just organizing things into sections.
Kirby Cosplay has been updated with an awesome Dark Matter
costume, and Fanfics has been updated with two stories, including
the second chapter of the awesome 'Star Warrior's Tale'.
Oh, and I do hope
you are enjoying Ivyna's subs. She puts much work into them so we can
enjoy the real deal. Go and formally thank her, if you have the time.
And it's more than just another episode this time! (Of which there is
one!

But I ALSO have... a new
Kirby DVD/VHS section with scans of (nearly) all the Japanese
covers! ...And I'll do an English one but I don't have scans of those
covers and I ain't wasting my money to buy em, so if anyone else has
them and can give me decent scans... that'd be dandy.

Official Art! Small pics but they're the best I could find. ^_^;
