Oooh, lotsa stuff today. First we have a lil set of Guru
answers. I got a lot of questions that I've all ready covered in the
FAQ, so they have been dutifully ignored. :D
Second we have another bit o' design
art- this time from the sheep episode and some nice background art. I've
also divided the sections for quicker loading. (And a smaller thing, I've
updated the episode list and satire list a tad.)
Lastly, something that has nothing to do with the anime, omg! But anyway,
thanks to Nick Biped over at the SomethingAwful
forums, I've gotten my hands on Nintendo Power
scans! For Kirby's Dreamland and
Kirby 64 specifically! Awesome, eh? And I may yet get more. :3
And lastly, about the misunderstanding... Some of you seem to have taken my
lil 'Send me money' thing to mean 'Ivy is going to use the money for
herself'. No, this is certainly not the case. I was thinking maybe
some people would like to help get more things for the site, as all the money
goes to. ( Have I mentioned I've all ready spent upwards of three
hundred dollars on the various art and books I've put scans of up? ^_^; It's
more of a case of 'I can't keep this up please help me' I suppose...)

I'm sending out e-mails to the winners of the Winter Holiday Fest late late
tonight, so check your mail and respond to me ASAP! ^_^ If I don't hear a
response within two weeks or so, we'll just go ahead and pass it down to the
next in line. It was hard to pick the winners, only a few staffers voted, so I
had some of my friends vote in addition as well, so it's very unbiased. =D
Bad
news for some, blah news for others, RR Offensive is closed. Trolly nor I have
the time to update it anymore, and it was fun while it lasted. Thanks to
everyone for participating, but Trolly and I (but I shouldn't really speak for
him ^_^) would like to focus on working more on the site for now.
You won't be hearing much from me for a while, I'm cleaning up some parts of
the site and working on the games section once again.

Heya everybody! ^_^ It's me, Trolly, and I'm back to Rainbow Resort this time ^_^ I was almost lost in combat because of the school (continous schoolworks and the difficult exams), and sometimes, the big Internet problems (the Router died temporarly) made the things almost impossible! o_O;;
Now, four months later, I'm back to give you again lots of huge updates and also new links, independently about how I feel on the school! (except when I'm in exams epochs) ^_^ This update hasn't new stuffs, but it contents a very important information about the Links section:
For all the people who was sending to me links on the last four months of inactivity, you must to send'em again, but this time at the next and new e-mail address: rrlinks@gmail.com. On the good side, I added a heaping helping of official
design art! Check out pics from episode 82, 'RoboRyorigarZ!'
and locations like Samo's Bar, the book store, and even Meta
Knight's living room! :D
...The problem is, this stuff is frighteningly
expensive. ^_^; I get it imported from Japan, so shipping alone
is bad enough. XD But recently I've been hit with huge car
repair and vet bills, and I'm in debt worse than Dedede to begin
with!
So, I talked it over with Kindar, and we've decided it would
be a good idea to accept donations of the monetary kind. (Thanks
to RMDDD for suggesting it.) Yep, what I'm saying is please send
me money! All proceeds will go directly to buying any kind of
Kirby art to put on the site.
How to send money? Well if you have a credit card or
checking account you can donate with Paypal by clicking here.
I will also keep it updated on how much has been donated, and
you can leave your name on the forums or whatnot and I'll put ya
on a list of donators. :D You could also send cash, check or
money order through the mail, but you'd have to email my first
to get my address. =P
Lastly, I'm not asking a lot. ^_^; Even just a buck or two
would help! (Something like five dollars would be amazing =P)
You probably have that much in spare change in your couch
cushions. =P

Hey all, I'm just posting a note to everyone sitewise and forumwise that the site is hiring for staff. I thought it would be easier this way, and since most of the people on the forums are more intune to the happenings, I thought this would serve better. I'm also waiting to post on the site for a few days, so everyone on the forums gets the first word.
There is an opening for the following sections: ^_^
Fan Fics
Must haves: Basic HTML skills, program for texts, e-mail
Updates preferred: Every two weeks ideal
Fan fics are perfect for those who love to read and write. Fics are received through e-mail, and then placed on the site. Writing contests, your own fan fic column in the newsletter or something similar is some ideas that this staffer can play with to revive the dusty section.
Fan Comics
Must haves: Basic HTML skills, program for handling picture files, e-mail
Updates preffered: Every two weeks ideal
Fan Comics are somewhat a more heavy job, and requires placing comics from e-mail onto the site. Another trait of this job is constantly saving .BMPs into more web friendly formats for display. (People love sending .BMPs ^_^)
Your own series to showcase or small clips for the newsletter are ideas to keep actively involved.
Multimedia
Must haves: Basic HTML skills, handing files small and large, e-mail, ability to use variety of programs
Updates preffered: Monthly
A multimedia position is open in order help Meta Warp with this huge section. Multimedia covers everything from Icons, Wall Papers, the picture gallery, sounds, commericals and more. Receiving contributions from submitters is one aspect, but constantly creating material to fill our empty pages is ideal =D

Working link. Also, that's not the Japanese commercial- it's the French
language version of the American one. :D So everyone knows. ^_^ (Well if not
French than a very similar language, I just know it's not Japanese. ^_^;)

First, SiR6's ability reviews have been updated! Although
I didn't manage to get all of them posted, I have gotten a great deal up! Thanks
to SiR6 for being patient with me, and continuing to write reviews ^_^
The
Kirby Creator Page has been edited
a little, with references at the end. Nothing big.
...and last but not least, Brett Martin has sent in pictures of his
Kirby collection, spawning a new section for you
to come and drool at his collection, and then send in your own!
Yes, yes... I know, I missed my monthly update deadline by four days, but please try to bare with me, as I had another
commitment to attend to.
Anyways, I bring two things for you this month, and both those things are New, TV Commericals, special thank you to StriderKnight for finding them for me
originally.
The first one was an odd find, manly because the commercial stopped airing on TV when the internet only first came around. I don't know how it was captured, but there is the
First Kirby's Dreamland Commerical. I was only able the sound of it
because I was unable to request a codec sever, but you might be able to see if Kirby
originally being white, was intended.
The second is one you probably have not heard of before, but I have another, Tilt and Tumble Commerical. It features a live-animation of Kirby along with plenty of Kirby's voice. Personally, I find the kids going "HA! KAABI! :D:D:D <3" was a bit odd, but it worked out in the end.
2nd place a Best Buy Gift Card (we've changed it from CompUSA to Best Buy due
to Best Buy being a bit more common to find -- and less expensive!)
3rd. - Ivyna J Spyder has generously lent her skills once more to take the
winner of third place's request for their very own art drawn by her. I got
e-mails from people asking why she wasn't offering a picture, so I asked and she
accepted! ^_^
If you have submitted anything and it is not up, it was not received as of
this update. So, please re-send anything that didn't make it. ^_^ Thanks!
Anyway, just the third big installment of official
design art! With pictures from episode 50, Kirby's
house and more. :D I'll have more by next week if I can scan it
all. XD
