Kirby's Block Ball gets 3DS eShop release!
| For everyone with a 3DS out there, Kirby's Block Ball has been added to Nintendo's eShop (in the US). With a wonderfully catchy soundtrack and simple but fun gameplay, it's definitely worth the $3 asking price. I'm under the impression that many people skipped over this one back in the day, but now's your chance to pick it up again!

Kirby Anniversary Collection to release this year!
Just about an hour ago in a Nintendo Direct, Nintendo President Iwata announced that for Kirby's 20th anniversary, they will be releasing a Kirby Anniversary Collection for the Wii this year. Nintendo of America has also confirmed that they will be releasing this anniversary disk as well.
On a related note, Japan is finally getting the 3DS Classic Edtion of Kirby's Adventure this coming week on April 25th. I guess NoJ decided to hold out on it for this year.

Notes
For the most part the site has finally been repaired. Apparently we got hit by some sort of russian redirect malware. Google noticed the redirect and put us on the suspicious list for malware (hence the "known attack site" warning for firefox and chrome users), there's still some lingering issues that need fixed up, but everything except for the kirbypedia should be up and working. Please notify any of us if that's not the case. (The Kirbypedia has been bleeding out for a while, we finally took it off life support during this fiasco.) Additionally, if issues like this crop up again, I'm on twitter under the Diskmaster name, and you'll probably see me complain about it there.
Edit: Apparently cutenews comments are broken. Whoops.

Broken parts of the site
The forum and other parts of the site are down following a hacking attempt. We're working on restoring those parts of the site that are down. We'll keep you updated as things come back.
Edit 1: Forums are back up. Oekaki is in progress now.
Edit 2 (by Disk): Oekaki is up, but we're temporarily using this url until a backend issue is solved. Gallery is semi-busted but workable I think. Gonna try and fix that up tomorrow friday and see about getting us off the malware site list.
Gallery is fixed up. Gonna submit the malware check tomorrow (late saturday) once everything is verified and working. -- Disk

Kirby: Right Back At Ya! Episode available through Nintendo Video
More good news for 3DS owners:
The "Kabuki Kirby" episode of the Kirby cartoon, previously unavailable to US fans, is now available through the Nintendo Video app on 3DS. It's going to come out in two parts, and part 1 is up for free right now. No date has been announced for part 2, but I'll let everyone know if I hear anything.
(Thanks to FighteRKirby for letting me know about this!)
