One of The Meta Knights that Kirby battles in his game series.
Trident Knight is a squat, armored enemy. He wears a helmet with a crescent positioned over his forehead, just above a slight bill. His armor has pointed shoulder guards that curve upward. His body is round and sports stumpy arms and rounded feet. A panel opens up on his back to reveal jet boosters. Through the eye slit on the front of his armor, nothing can be seen inside outside of two red points of light that occasionally appear. He carries a large, golden trident with prongs up to half of its length in size.

Kirby's Adventure
Trident Knight appears with the rest of The Meta Knights at select battle scenes as summoned by Meta Knight. He displays one of two tactics when called to a fight. He can stand in one spot and hurl his electrified forks at Kirby, or he can trot short distances and leap into the air before letting loose his armament.
Kirby Super Star
Trident Knight appeared as a regular enemy in addition to appearing with his fellow Meta Knights in a progression stalling battle. He still hurls out electrified tridents at Kirby but now has a jet pack that can carry him into the air.
Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land
Lance Knight returned with similar behavior to its Adventure appearance.
Trivia
- He is sometimes called Meta Lance by fans, despite that name never appearing in any game.
