Appearance
Wham Bam Rock is a massive entity whose true form is kept hidden in darkness. The only parts that can be seen are parts of its face and hands. The hands are composed of several pieces of stone. The face is just large, round bright eyes and lips. Parts of a green headdress and spinning golden earrings can also be seen. The rest is concealed in shadow leaving the rest of what it could look like entirely unknown. In later appearances, its appearance became more rock-like.

Wham Bam Rock appears as the final boss in Great Cave Offensive, again as the leader of Cavios, and is featured in The Arena.
Rock is battled in a large, open, darkened room along a thin crossway. It appears partially in the background and attacks the player out in the foreground using its hands. Its face cannot be targeted or harmed. Its offense consists of bring its stony hands to harm the player. It can slam its fist down the player, swat the right, center, and left of the screen in progression, and attempt to snatch and squeeze them. As with all grappling attacks, this cannot be defended. The hands can emerge from the side to punch across the floor or walk its fingers along and flick the target against the wall. One can also crumble to rain pieces of its fingers down. When its life meter is depleted enough, these can be drawn back up to reassemble the hand. Wham can also shake the entire screen to cause stones to fall all over. Any of these rocks can be inhaled to be used against the hands or to gain the Stone ability.
Kirby Super Star Ultra
Wham Bam Rock returns with no changes to its behavior, but its appearance is now entirely stone-like, appearing like a tribal carving. A red tinted version serves as the boss in Milky Way Wishes and in Helper to Hero, where it is the 13th battle.
