Kirby's Dream Land 2

Ripple Field is a water themed area that either has the player wholly or partially immersed. It is third in the chain of Rainbow Islands, following Big Forest and preceding Iceberg. There are plenty of strong currents and swimming areas.

Ripple Field consists of three stages. Here, the Animal Friend Kine can be obtained. The selection of available copy abilities is expanded at this point in the game to include Stone and Spark. The only mini-boss encountered is Master Green.

The leader of the island is Sweet Stuff. Once defeated, the bonus game opened consists of swimming through an automatically scrolling course lined with Gordo and Star Pieces.

The Rainbow Drop is held in the third stage. It can be accessed with the use of Stone but requires Kine's Spark ability to find the way.

Kirby's Dream Land 3

Ripple Field serves as the second level. Its six stages are made up with islands, underwater passages, sunken ruins, and stretches of ocean.

The Heart Stars are held by, in order, Kamuribana, Bakasa, Elieel, Gamugael and Little Gamugael, Hiiru, and HB-002.

The boss of the area is Acro.

Trivia

  • "Ripple Field" was previously the name of a level in the game HyperZone, whose name itself was used in another Dream Land stage.
