A one time ability, it only appears in Kirby Super Star. This single use ability allows Kirby to spray color all over, causing damage to any foe on screen. As a side affect, certain bosses will be changed when this power is used against them.

Games

Kirby Super Star

Wearing a backwards, black baseball cap, Kirby takes out his paint bucket and leaps into the air to blast everything on screen with an explosion of colors. While its basic function is to operate like Mike and damage all enemies on screen, Paint holds a secondary function as well.

Against the boss Heavy Lobster, the released Paint Blob recolors it red and leaves it completely blind. When fighting Chameleo Arm, Paint returns this boss to a visible color scheme. Appropriately, these are the only two sources of the Paint ability.

Anime

In the anime version, Kirby gains a pair of roller blades similar to the Paint Roller enemy, who also appears in the episode. He gains it by eating one of its paint brushes. The hat he wears is blue instead of gray in the games, and roller-blade wheels appear on his feet/shoes so he skates around quickly instead of running.

Paint also becomes a normal ability instead of being one-use, and Kirby gains the ability to paint creations that will become real, similar to the characters Ado and Adeleine.

Paint is one of a few abilities that only appeared in one episode.
