Nago is a cat and one of Kirby's allies. He rolls Kirby around the ground as he helps him save the day.

Games
Nago first appeared with the two other new Animal Friends in Kirby's Dream Land 3. In this game, he lacks any real area of specialization but can be viewed as bridging ground to air.
Nago makes a cameo in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards as a statue carved from the combination of the Stone and Cutter abilities.
Appearance
Nago is one fat cat. He has a rounded, blob shape. His white fur is covered with a brown, tortoiseshell pattern along the back and head. His eyes are normally shut tight, appearing as mere slants. His face has typical feline features with whiskers and brown ears peaking on the top of his head. A short tail sticks out from his backside. His feet are buried beneath the handing rolls of his gut. His arms are short, white stubs that are hidden unless in use.
Background
Nago first crossed paths with Kirby the second time Dark Matter terrorized Dream Land.
Personality
True to his feline nature, Nago a playful fellow.
Abilities
Kirby's Dream Land 3
Nago is capable of executing a triple jump from midair. When off the ground, a second, smaller leap can be performed at any point. A third, final, and smaller hop can be done after this. Additionally, with the size of the cat, his weight can be used to smash regular enemies that he lands upon. Nago does not inhale enemies on his own and utilizes the intake method used by whoever he is paired with. Kirby's Copy Abilities are changed into the following when with the feline:
- Burning: Ground Blaze
- Clean: Floor Mopper
- Cutter: Skyward Slash
- Ice: Frost Booster
- Needle: Spike Volley
- Parasol: Pogo Parasol
- Spark: Static Roller
- Stone: Rock Crusher
Relationships
Kirby and Nago work together to save Dream Land, although there is no real reason as to why. Unlike in previous games, Nago is not being saved from any dire situation. For the cause of good, presumably, the cat assists the creme puff in his efforts. The same help is offered to Gooey, who will also be rolled about. While Nago does not hate the other Animal Friends, he is saddened when they are chosen over him to assist in Kirby's efforts.
A white, female cat, Shiro, is Nago's girlfriend.
Anime
There is also a new character, Cook Nagoya, who somewhat resembles Nago.
