A character called Moley also appears in the anime. (See Moley (Anime)) but aside from the name they have no other similarities.
A boss that Kirby must fight in his game series.
Moley is a very large, gray-furred mole that spends most of his time hiding underground. He wears dark sunglasses to protect his eyes, and a red bandanna around his neck. Despite the huge claws on his hands, they are only for digging and he mainly attacks by throwing things.

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror
In Moley's only appearance to date, he acts as the boss of Cabbage Cavern, guarding one of the Mirror Shards. In a deep subterranean room, Moley will pop out of the floor and ceiling at random, and throw a variety of items at Kirby, including rocks and steel drums. Most of these items can be inhaled and spit back out to do damage.
Moley is more or less defenseless when he pops out of the ground though, so any number of Copy abilities can do major damage before he digs back down again.
