A boss found in Kirby games. It is a four fisted, well armored, mechanized brawler.

Appearance

Mega Titan is a floating, mechanical torso. A jet of flame erupts down from its waist to keep it airborne. It has a metallic grill over its lower face and upper body and golden horns curving out the sides of its head. Its sides are coated in a metallic blue and swell out around rotary joints where its arms tend to hang. Its hands are individually rocket powered and disconnected from the main body.

Games

Mega Titan is found as the boss within Carrot Castle. Its battle is divided into two separate phases.

Unlike many bosses, Mega Titan is impervious to most forms of attack due to its heavy armor plating. However, it is vulnerable to electrical based damage, such as that inflicted with Spark or Beam. If a suitable ability is not held the walls of the room fought within are lined with electrical current. While dangerous to the player, they can deliver a shock to the war machine as well.

Mega Titan drifts through the chamber, side to side, and weaves up and down. Along the way, it aims and launches out its soaring fists. They can fire in unison or at staggered intervals. When they strike a surface, they release a star for ammo. Any attack made against the robot, while not damaging it, pushes it in that direction. Attacks have to be coordinated to push it into the electric current. A single star bullet knocks it back some, but heavier attacks such as from Hammer or a double star throw it much further.

After its life meter is depleted, the body crumbles to the floor but the head releases from the whole as Titan Head. It no longer is invincible in this stage. It flies about the room in the same weaving pattern only now launching out missiles instead of fists. These travel only straight forward and can be inhaled for use against it.
