One of Kirby's Copy abilities. It only appears in one game.

With this ability, Kirby wears a hat with tiny jet-plane wings and a huge jet on the back, and of course some shades on the front that drop down to protect his eyes.

Kirby Super Star

Jet allows Kirby to boost at high speeds. It replaces his ability to inflate when in air and let's him hover. By charging up the engine, Kirby can even fly through strong winds. Also, the exhaust is hot enough to burn wicks.

  • Store Power - Holding the button builds up the jet's energy.
  • Jet Kick - Letting go of the charge sends Kirby forward with a flying foot.
  • Jet Heading - In the air, he dives forward to plow through his foes
  • Jet Dash - When at full power, Kirby rockets forward at high speed.
  • Jet Cracker - Hitting the button during a Jet Dash unleashes a blast of power.
  • Jet Blow - If a foe is close enough, they can be blasted out the thruster.
  • Diving Rocket - When giving full power in air, Kirby loops around in a wide arched plunge.
  • Save Stored Power - Pressing jump will cap off the power and save it for later, allowing Kirby to move about freely.
  • Hover - Hitting the jump button in air will just keep Kirby afloat off a burst of afterburn.
  • Ultra-jet Jump - If storing full power, a super powered jump can rocket Kirby skyward.

Anime

Jet Kirby in the anime looks the same as the game version, and can move faster than the speed of sound, making it his fastest ability. The only attack he is shown using is 'Jet Cracker'.

Jet is obtained once when Kirby inhales a bike's exhaust port, and another time when he inhales part of a hot air balloon. Despite Jet's speed, it isn't the best choice against certain enemies.
