One of Kirby's Copy abilities. Kirby gains a stereotypical ghostly appearance, wearing nothing but a sheet and floating.

As of 2007, the only game ghost has appeared in is Kirby Squeak Squad, where it must first be unlocked through treasure hunting.

Kirby Squeak Squad

As a ghost, Kirby can float around similarly to UFO, albeit much more slowly. Kirby can perform a ghostly dash, and if he dashes through an enemy, he can possess them and utilize their attacks. After possessing an enemy, the attacks depend entirely on what it is Kirby has possessed. For example, if Kirby possesses a Waddle Doo, he can have it use its beam attack on other enemies. However, if Kirby possesses another, weaker enemy, like a Waddle Dee, his attack options are usually only limited to ramming into other enemies, which will usually destroy his unwilling host in the process.

Ghost can be hard to acquire, as the only enemy it can be copied from is Tedhaun, who will replace one miniboss in one stage of each level after Kirby has collected all the pieces of the Ghost Medal. Fortunately, if Kirby has also collected all the pieces to the Secret Map, he can collect an ability bubble for it in the secret area that opens up. (Which is the only location where it will appear in the whole game.) An ability bubble can be created for the ability, once it is unlocked, by combining two Sleep abilities.

Since Ghost moves in the same style as UFO, it is also incapable of moving down through two-way floors or ladders, and Kirby must drop the ability if he wishes to progress beyond these obstacles.
