Chuchu is the only female out of Kirby's Animal Friends. The pink blob rides on top of his head as she helps him deal with a number of problems in unique manners.

Games
Chuchu first appeared with the two other new Animal Friends in Kirby's Dream Land 3. In this game, she serves a diverse role in all terrain aspects.
Chuchu makes a cameo in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards as a statue carved from the combination of the Stone and Cutter abilities.
Appearance
Chuchu is a pink, shapeless mass that wears a red bow on top of her head. Large, long lashed eyes are on her smiling face that make certain her gender. Her lower portion ends in a series of flanges. Due to her bizarre appearance, it is often argued whether she is, in fact, an octopus, an amoeba, or some type of slime.
Background
Chuchu first crossed paths with Kirby the second time Dark Matter terrorized Dream Land.
Personality
Chuchu is sweet and caring but carries a short fuse and a temper to go along with it.
Abilities
Kirby's Dream Land 3
Chuchu rides on top of the player's head. From here, she whips out her tentacles to pull enemies into her partner's mouth. Since this is not suction, it can operate underwater and against foes who normally cannot be inhaled. The drawback is that only one thing can be taken in at a time. She can also fly, somewhat. Repetitive jumping will booster her higher but less so upon each one. Eventually, she will not be able to rise any more. Chuchu can also cling to ceilings and crawl along them. Wearing her makes Kirby too large to travel through low passages but not large enough to crush enemies. Kirby's Copy Abilities are changed into the following when paired with her:
- Burning: Hot Air Torch
- Clean: Witch's Broom
- Cutter: Swinging Slicer
- Ice: Snowball Chucker
- Needle: Spike Spray
- Parasol: Parasol Ride
- Spark: Charge Shot
- Stone: Rock Twirl
Relationships
Kirby and Chuchu work together to save Dream Land, although there is no real reason as to why. Unlike in previous games, Chuchu is not being saved from any dire situation. For the cause of good, presumably, the blob assists the creme puff in his efforts. The same help is offered to Gooey, who she will also ride atop. While Chuchu does not hate the other Animal Friends, she is saddened when they are chosen over her to assist in Kirby's efforts.
Chuchu has a friend of the same species, only yellow, named Nyupun.
MuchiMuchi is an odd fellow who has a crush on the heroine.
Chuchu resembles Blob, a pink, female version of Gooey from Kirby's Dream Land 2. However, there is never a connection made between the two.
