Appearance

Chameleo Arm is a round lizard of many colors, including green, blue, purple, red, orange, or yellow. It has a large head, sloping head with large eyes. Three pairs of horns protrude from the back of its head with the top pair longer than the rest, curving upward. A ridge of rounded bumps runs down its back. It has two stubby arms with three claws. Its short, extendable legs each end in one large claw.

Games

Chameleo Arm appears as the second boss in Great Cave Offensive, again as the boss found on Hotbeat, and is featured in The Arena.

Chameleo Arm is fought in an ancient temple. It rolls onto and out of the scene often, attacking in between. Its attacks occur randomly from a selected pool depending on whether it is earthbound or clung onto the wall. During the fight, it can change its color to blend into the background with only a blurred outline to indicate its location.

Chameleo Arm can somersault across the screen from one side to another. Its tongue can be launched out to grab onto the player and spit them out. It cannot be blocked. Its legs can stretch out to move it onto or across the wall, which it hangs onto. The claws can be thrown out to attack from here as well.

While climbing, Chameleo Arm can spit out a trio of colored orbs. Inhaling them gives the Paint ability. When used against this boss, the ability changes its color, makes it visible, and knocks it off the wall.
