Although there were no Copy Abilities in the first Kirby game, there were still a few items that granted temporary powers. One of these was a Bomb, which was, in later games, made into an actual Copy Ability.

Kirby's Dream Land
Most enemies and objects behave the same when inhaled and spit back up, but the Bomb is different. When Kirby spits back up this item, instead of the typical star being thrown out, a large explosion shoots across the screen with a wider range of destruction. However, if too much time is taken to discharge the ammo, the Bomb will go off while still inside Kirby's mouth, damaging him! This item only appears a few times throughout the game, much like any other item.
