A regular enemy in the Kirby games.
Batty is a pudgy, purple bat with red wings. Its body is pear shaped with a wide bottom that angles in to two points for its ears. It has a gaping mouth with two large fangs, eyes that are squinted shut, and two rounded feet.

Batty is commonly found hanging upside down on a ceiling but can also start out fluttering in open air. When the player draws too near, it unfolds its wings and approaches the target. If it flutters around the player for too long without being able to to land a blow, it eventually turns away.
