IF Entry

Kinetic (Magical Sweeper)

- From superyoshi888 on June 9th, 2009

Kirby's body becomes white with green feet and blush. He holds the two color changing halves of Magical Sweeper in his hands. When Kirby does a basic attack, he shoots a small stream of energy balls in the direction currently held(for example, if the up button is held on the control pad, the energy will be shot upwards). If Kirby attacks while running, he will hid himself in the two parts and quickly roll foward.

Kirby doesn't float normally while he has this ability. He brings the two parts together around him and floats like Magical Sweeper does. It is slower than Kirby's normal float, but gives him far more control in the air.

IF Entry

Toad (Slippy)

- From Airride_Master on June 5th, 2009

The Frog ability would give Kirby a green frog suit. The attack would be a hop,but its height would depend on how long you held the button, from a small hop to a gigantic leap. Kirby can swim through water quicker. Kirby is invincible during larger hops(a split-second after starting, and before landing),and will damage enemys he lands on for smaller ones.

Tackle (Bronto Burt)

- From MEEPs on June 4th, 2009

Kirby gains bug like wings for arms, and a crash helmet. This ability gives Kirby flying powers without puffing up, like wing, and the ability to tackle in multiple directions for short distances, kirby also runs faster in this form, but his swimming slows down.

IF Entry

Crab (Kany)

- From MarioKirbyFireballer on May 31st, 2009

Man, whoever knew Kirby could get so crabby? *shot* Puns aside, the Crab ability's "hat" is a costume based heavily off of the K64 design of Kany. The only differences are that 1) Kirby's face can be seen underneath the crab shell; 2) The pincers connect directly to the costume; and 3) Kirby has his regular feet instead of crab-like legs.

The basic attack for this ability, obviously, is a claw pinch, which can be used to cut ropes. Kirby can also pinch upwards to fend off enemies trying to dive-bomb him. Finally, when ducking, Kirby can repeatedly pinch diagonally upwards in alternating directions.

IF Entry

Apple (Apple)

- From locoroco1 on May 20th, 2009

Apples are common foes in several games, eve acting as Whispy's main form of attack. These delightful delicacies are constantly inhaled by Kirby, now giving him the Apple ability. This ability actually makes Kirby sprout a stem and his skin will tint red. As simple as Kirby's mind, this ability's only two forms of attack are performing a sudden roll going about 3 quarters of the reach of burning, at half the speed, to hurt enemies in his path, and an attack where he jumps into the air and comes crashing down on the poor soul beneath him. A special side effect of this power is that, should Kirby turn this ace ability into a helper, the helper will be just a plain Apple. But if Kirby jumps onto the Apple, he will don the Apple Rider ability. With this ability, Kirby will walk on his friend, using the same form Poppy Bros. are seen using. Kirby and his partner will move twice as fast and will hurt enemies they chance to run into. This abiliy will not run on water, and if water is touched, Kirby and his partner will split up, becoming normal. If kirby uses his dash attack too much, or hits to many foes, he will start to wobble, and if he doesn't slow down, stop hitting enemies, or just plain stop, he will fall off of his partner. Remember, an Apple can cause serious injuries or death when executed properly by Kirby.

Mace (Mace Knight)

- From KirbyGamer91 on May 18th, 2009

Mace Kirby wears a black and purple hat like Sword and Bomb Kirby, and of course, carries a mace ball. He can slam the mace ball that in addition to being powerful, can pound pegs and break steel blocks, and holding the attack button will make Kirby spin the mace, and then releasing it will make Kirby throw the mace, causing it to do even more damage.

IF Entry

Mace (Mace Knight)

- From MarioKirbyFireballer on May 16th, 2009

Step aside, wrecking crews! Kirby's new Mace ability gives him smashing power as he spins and swings his newly acquired Mace around. His hat for this ability is a black dome covered in spikes atop his head, resembling his mace, then trimmed with a gray bar along the bottom of the hat.

Kirby's most basic attack is swinging his mace out in front of him. This attack is chargeable, though; the longer he charges, the further it goes (Of course, there is a limit). Along with that, Kirby can also throw his mace in front of him very quickly by dashing and swinging at the same time.

Along with this, Kirby can also use his mace to destroy very strong blocks, of which few other abilities can destroy, with examples of these abilities being Metal and Throw.

IF Entry

Snow (Corori)

- From KrackoCloud on May 16th, 2009

Snow Kirby wears a fuzzy cap with blue and white stripes and a ball at the end.

This ability is unique from Ice and Freeze because the other two only use icy air. Although Snow Kirby's attacks do not freeze enemies, they still have other icy properties like the ability to freeze water and harden magma.

Kirby's main attack is to lob snowballs forward in an arc.

Pressing the attack button rapidly causes him to throw three snowballs in succession, with slightly varying angles. If the attack button is held long enough, Kirby will collect snow and launch a large snowball that rolls on the ground, plowing through enemies.

IF Entry

Egg (Crack Tweet)

- From Mirror Kirby on May 12th, 2009

Egg Kirby has Kirby get an eggshell for a hat, and wear an eggshell similarly to pants. Egg Kirby can be able to pull out a rotten egg from his hat, and egg any foe that gets too close to him. Kirby can defend himself by retracting his feet and hands, and joining together the two eggshells. Kirby can still take damage from certain attacks, but he can be able to move around by rolling in the egg.

IF Entry

Cloud (Loud)

- From Gooey on May 11th, 2009

Kirby gains a hat similar to Loud. His regular attack is a random chance of rain, normal, sunny, or snow. Rain drops down from a cloud cast over the foe, and does continuous damage. Normal makes Kirby and the enemy to sweatdrop, doing absolutely nothing. Sunny causes the enemy to burn. Snow freezes the enemy, but breaks the ice continuously. When Kirby is down to about 1/3 of his health, the cloud on his head turns a dark black, causing his attacks to become more powerful, and add more attacks. These include: thunder/ lightning, hail, wind, flood, super normal (?), and drought. Thunder (and lightning) is very rare. First, a resounding clap of thunder sounds, then lightning strikes all enemies on screen. Hail is an attack where Kirby strikes the foe with powerful (and continuously damaging) hail. There is a 25% chance of freezing. Wind simply blows the enemy offscreen (but does NOT kill them). Flood causes the room to fill up with water. It, along with drought and lightning, cause Kirby to lose the ability. Drought burns all enemies, causes random fires to appear, and dries all water areas in the room. Super normal (?) makes all enemies on screen regain all their health, and get some extra, too. When Kirby runs, a path of puffy wisps appears behind him.

Zeus (Cret)

- From Dark Nebula on May 10th, 2009

For this ability, Kirby dons a ring of laurels around his head. Zeus Kirby can throw lightning bolts straight forward while walking along the ground. In mid-air, he can throw a lightning bolt straight at the ground. To float through the air, Kirby causes a cloud to appear under him. He uses attacks in this form by pouring rain down on his enemies.

IF Entry

Sand (Sandman)

- From Leirin on May 10th, 2009

If the strange and Rock Star-dominating Sandman is copied, Kirby will obtain the Sand ability. This power gives him a headband similar to Fire's with wooden beads and shapes with a red-trimmed hourglass placed in the center. Five mountains of sand sit atop his head when he has this ability, the middle being the tallest. He also wields a wooden rod with curls on both ends and an orange handle.

Like the Sandman, Kirby's Sand ability powers let him shoot up pillars of sand, no matter what the surrounding environment is. To do this, Kirby must thrust the baton upward, but if the B button is charged, he will shoot an even taller mountain! This power has one other move, the Sand Jump. If Down and B are held Kirby will bury himself underneath the surface and hide underground. Release the buttons and he will launch himself upward, colliding with any unsuspecting enemies above.

IF Entry

Snowball (Corori)

- From Commander Keen on May 10th, 2009

Coming from another Kirby's Dream Land 3 enemy, the snowball ability doesn't follow the freeze n' kick routine of other ice-based abilities. Instead, a snowball is rolled across the ground to (snow)plow through enemies. Kirby preforms this attack by holding the attack button to roll a large snowball(out of mid-air?!) while standing still. When the button is released, Kirby will roll the snowball forward. It speeds up while going downhill, and slows down and eventually goes backward while going uphill. If the player just presses the button, a small snowball about half Kirby's size will be rolled forward that disapears after hitting just one enemy. If it is at full charge (after about a second and a half), the snowball will be about a Kirby and a half in height and will plow through up to five enemies before dissapearing. There are also three different levels of snowballs in between, and the bigger the snowball, the more enemies it can hit. Unfortuanatly, all snowballs have to melt, and they start to melt after one second and grow smaller after that until they dissapear. Obviously, larger snowballs last longer than smaller ones because they have more size to lose before they dissapear.

Snowball Kirby's cap resembles Corori's cap almost completely. It is a orange sock cap with an orange trim and a fluffy, white ball at the end that resembles a snowball.

A fully made large snowball can roll over hammer stakes and pound them down, although smaller snowballs cannot do this. Also, one might ask what happens when the attack is preformed in mid-air. The answer is that instead of rollong a snowball, Kirby throws a small snowball for about screen length that disapears when it hits the ground. It is VERY weak, so the only reason for doing this is to hit pesky midair enemies and flying bosses.

Prank (Prank)

- From MarioKirbyFireballer on May 9th, 2009

Who ever knew Kirby was quite the comedian? With the Prank ability, Kirby dons a pair of lens-less glasses, which has a plastic nose and fake eyebrows/mustache attached to it. (I do know there is a name for this type of disguise, but I can't remember it right now.)

For attacks, Kirby uses two comedic gags: a pie and a banana peel. Upon pressing the attack button, Kirby throws the pie a short distance. Pressing an attack button + down combo allows Kirby to place the banana peel on the ground. Enemies who touch this banana peel trip over, causing them to be stunned for a second or two.

Kirby wares an ancient Roman crown, when he waves his staff, it crates water vapor. Then the water vapor will form around Kirby to make a cloud. IF Entry

Cloud (Loud, Cret)

- From KrackoCloud on May 9th, 2009

Cloud Kirby wears a wavy, golden headband that spews bubbly clouds, and wields a golden wand.

Kirby uses this wand to shoot clouds in a fashion similar to the Fire, Ice, and Bubble abilities. However, the attack's range is farther. When aiming the stream of clouds with the D-Pad, the change of the angle is about 25 degrees instead of the usual 45. The clouds can deal multiple hits, but are likewise much weaker than Kirby's counterpart abilities.

During a dash attack, Kirby will hold out his wand, and a flurry of clouds will fly forward at different angles for a brief moment.

IF Entry

Spin (Dizzy)

- From Gooey on May 9th, 2009

This ability is actually rather negative, like Sleep. Kirby's eyes become spirals, and Kirby occasionally has his tongue sticking out. He is able to do all of his regular attacks, however they are inaccurate and confused. The only way to get rid of the ability is to inhale another enemy, though this would be difficult, as Kirby's inhale is shaky, too. The other way is to die, but that's a given. Lastly, when Kirby jumps, he spins in the air, dealing slight damage to airborne enemies, and it also slows his descent.

1.) Javelin Throw - Kirby throws a javelin. To do this, hold the B button and use the directional buttons to aim. Let go of the B button to fire. The longer you hold the B button, the farther the javelin will go.

2.) Enhanced Javelin - The javelin will be traced with either Fire, Spark, or Ice power. When it hits, the victim would either set on fire, get shocked, or get frozen. To get this abillity, you have to find a Fire, Spark, or Ice copy scroll, or you could try to get all of them. If you have more than one copy scroll, the javelin will be traced with an ability randomly.

Cake (Blopper)

- From Kirazy on May 5th, 2009

If the rather abnormal, and infrequent Blopper is to be swallowed himself, (not swallowing his frosting, but swallowing the squash shaped cupcake-doplganger himself,) Kirby would be to dawn the Cake Ability. When Kirby dawns the Cake Ability, his skin turns a very light gold, a cake batterish tint, along with his cheeks turning to bright yellow. His feet become a a pinkish, strawberry frosting hue. He then wears a tiara atop his head, much like the elemental tiaras for such abilities like Tornado, Fire, and Ice. The tiara has three circle gems on it, each featuring a happy face. Then, instead of having an element come out of the tiara, like how Fire has flame bursting out, or how bubble has a stream of suds dripping, Cake Kirby has a clump of very light pink frosting, which is positioned upwards, not smooshing down onto Kirby's face. Atop the mountain of sugary glop on Kirby's head is a lone reg cherry, comlete with a short green stem.

To attack, Kirby will erratically toss batches of sugary delights, (such as candy-corns, candy-canes, frosting, and pops), throwing one to his left, and one to his right. The sweets will fly with random velocities and strength. Kirby can only two at a time, one to the left, one to the right. they usually don't go flying that far, and usually just arch upwards, then speedily fall. Much like the frosting of Blopper, Cake Kirby's frosting, and sugars go through walls, or other objects. This attack can be mashed to be used as fast as Blopper throws out his frosting.

Instead of puffing up and down, Kirby can simply hover in air, like a helicopter.

To attack, Kirby shoots diagonally downward, silver air breezing past his face. This diagonal dive can be aimed once it has begun, but not very well. Kirby stops his dive after about one mississippi second, in which he returns back to hovering in air, or unless he hits the ground.

IF Entry

Cannon (Mobile Shotzo)

- From MarioKirbyFireballer on May 3rd, 2009

For the Cannon ability, Kirby goes a tad more militaristic, as evidenced by the hat, a green army helmet, and his means of transportation, which is described later.

Kirby's main offensive with this ability is, obviously, a cannon, which is mounted on his transportation. Pressing the attack button fires a bullet that slowly flies in a straight line, like Shotzo bullets. The bullets are quite powerful, though, which is shown by the recoil knocking Kirby back slightly. Also, if you hold the attack button, you can angle the shot diagonally-up or -down, similar to Cupid.

The "transportation" mentioned earlier...is a tank! It's very similar in design to Mobile Shotzo, but there are a couple differences. 1) The top has a c***pit for Kirby to sit in, and 2) the orange area of a Mobile Shotzo changes to match Kirby's color. It also slightly alters Kirby's movement, like the UFO ability's saucer. It doesn't allow Kirby to dash, but that's pretty much it.

IF Entry

Sand (Oro, Sandman)

- From Sapphire Kirby on May 2nd, 2009

The Sand Ability is a multi-functional ability that brings a mixture of offence and defense to the ability table. Although it isn't required, I'm going to show Sand's capabilities through multiple types of games.

In a game similar to Adventure, Amazing Mirror, or Squeak Squad, Kirby first turns into a pile of sand and is invulnerable. Kirby can stay in this form as long as the 'B' button is held down. On releasing the button, Kirby jumps out of the sand to surprise and damage all nearby enemies. Kirby will be invincible for a few moments, allowing enough time to bury yourself again if you want. This ability obviously does not work in air or water.

In a game involving animal friends like Dreamland 2&3, Kirby's Sand Ability takes new forms, depending on who he's paired up with. Puzzles that require making clean objects dirty require this ability.

Kirby/Gooey: As stated above.

Rick: Rick and Kirby are covered in sand, and Rick shakes his furry body to clean himself and damage enemies in front and in back of him.

Kine: Kine spins around a few times and Kirby spits out a wad of cement. The cement will stick to the floor for 5 seconds, turning any enemies that come into contact with it into a statue (which is basically a slower moving ice cube).

Coo: Coo flaps his wings to release a long, yet narrow, gust of sandy wind to damage enemies in front of him, even from a distance.

Nago: Nago has Kirby spit out a orb of sand to attack. this attack can be angled.

Chuchu: Kirby and Chuchu cover themselves in sand to become a multi-tentacle sand monster! You can not jump or fly and you move very slowly, but your tentacles attack any nearby enemies. This transformation will last for 10 seconds.

Pitch: Kirby uses Pitch as a shovel and digs into the ground to release rocks and sand into the air at varying degrees to damage foes.

In a game like Kirby 64 where Kirby mixes abilities, Sand can be combined with other abilities to make new ones.

Sand: Kirby turns into a pile of sand, then jumps out to surprise and damage enemies. Must be on ground to use this attack.

Fire/Sand: Kirby turns into a pile a burning hot beach sand for a few moments, burning all those who comeinto contact with him. Kirby is not immune to attacks.

Ice/Sand: Kirby freezes the ground in front of him, then throws some sand and salt on the ice to melt it. this process hurts enemies.

Stone/Sand: Kirby uses sand to erode his rocky body into crystal. Kirby is now a blue version of his single Stone ability, but now can reflect minor projectiles. Walks slowly and can't jump or fly. Press B to enter and exit this form.

Spark/Sand: Kirby uses a Sandblaster... to blast his enemies with sand. You can not jump when holding the Sandblaster.

Needle/Sand: Kirby uses a shovel to cover his enemies in sand. You can walk while attacking

Bomb/Sand: Kirby covers himself in sand, then explodes to damage enemies.

Cutter/Sand: Kirby slashes his enemies with crescent shaped sandpaper.

Sand/Sand: Kirby becomes a pile of Quicksand and pulls all enemies to their doom!

In a racing game like Air Ride, the sand ability allows Kirby to throw balls of sand that create dusty sand clouds that lower visibility and speed. In games like Block Ball and Canvas Curse where Kirby is always a ball, the Sand ability leaves a trail of damage inducing dust behind you.

For games that have hats, the Sand ability hat is a yellow helmet made of sand with a white colored quartz stone in the front.

Club (Dogan)

- From WithAHat on May 2nd, 2009

Upon swallowing the club-wielding Dogan, Kirby receives a large club of his own. With this ability, Kirby is able to swing his blunt weapon at a downward angle. Like the Hammer and Stone abilities, the Club ability is able to pound in wooden stakes.

What separates the Club ability from other weapon-based abilities is that, much like the Dogan that grants it, it can deflect projectiles. Sir Kibble's cutters, Gabon's bones, and even Shotzo's bullets are easily deflected by one swing of the blunt weapon. Upon getting hit by the club, the projectiles will shoot back in the opposite direction, dealing damage to any enemy they come in contact with.

Appearance-wise, the club ability isn't anything extravagant. Much like the Parasol and Super Star Hammer abilities, Kirby goes hatless while using it. The ability is instead signified by the massive club Kirby lugs around.

Spider (Como)

- From Luca on May 2nd, 2009

When Kirby copies Spider, he attacks by shooting small webs at enemies. Enemies struggle to get out of the web, and get damaged every about 1.5 seconds. Weaker enemies like Waddle Dees take a long time to get out,and are usually destroyed, while tougher enemies like Golems take a short time compared to Dees. and dekabu gets out almost as soon as you catch them in your web!

Man, i almost forgot the hat! It's basicly Como on Kirby's back, sans one pair of legs, and clearly stiched on is a head, which's mouth the web gets shot out. also, when kirby walks or dashes with the ability, you can see the googley eyes...google.

And since Como made his debut in Kirby Dreamland 3, here's some abilities with animal freinds:

Chuchu: Chuchu replaces the web. However, instead of holding down and damages them, she traps them. when you pick her up, she will still have the enemy, who you can throw (the enemy, not Chuchu. Unfortunately)

Pitch: Kirby sticks his web to Pitch, which allows kirby to swing Pitch into enemies, beak-first.

Kine: Kirby hides in Kine. to attack, Kirby jumps out of Kine and traps the enemy. From there, it acts like normal Spider, except you can fight back! And by that, i mean mash the A button rapidly to keep damging them. The disadvantege is if you press slowly, it will actually last SHORTER then normal Spider.

IF Entry

[Wizard?] (Madoo)

- From on May 2nd, 2009

This power lets Kirby shoot out special black orbs. The black orbs can do one of three random things:

1: (Most common) The black orb will have an effect that is similar to a projectile ability (Cutter, Bomb, Full-charge Plasma, ect.)

2: (Slightly Rare) The black orb will home onto any enemy. It will either kill it, or, if it has an ability and you don't have a helper, it will become your helper.

3: (Rarest) Almost the same as 2, but instead of the enemy becoming your helper, it will turn into a Maximum Tomato or a 1-UP if your life bar is full.

In addition, you can also float like Plasma Wisp instead of puffing up and flying.

Madoo is the helper, and is very similar to Plasma wisp (he always flys) but he only difference is that he cannot use attack #2 properly (instead, it just homes on with no effect)

For the hat, Kirby wears a brown hooded cloak and a red cape. He also wields a wooden cane with a blue emerald on top.

Anemone (Glunk)

- From Airride_Master on May 2nd, 2009

After Inhaling a glunk,Kirby would change color to green with orange feet, and he would be wearing a glunk top. His one attack would be shooting a large 'sphere' out of the top of his hat. If you held the button,he would shoot out smaller 'spheres' at a faster rate.

A small, but useful detail is that he can,SLOWLY,climb ceilings and walls. Kirby has poorer jumping skills and walking running skills:jumping is a little worse, and walking is a little more than half the speed. Kirby can only attack upwards. While Kirby falls, he can shoot a bubble downward. Kirby's slide is transformed into shooting a water cannon to the side.

IF Entry

Spring (Bouncy)

- From Midna on May 2nd, 2009

Inhaling Bouncy will give Kirby a conical spring for a hat, with a little red ball encased in the top of said spring. He also gains little springs on the soles of his shoes, which let Kirby utilize Bouncy's power.

When Kirby dons the goofy spring-hat and silly spring-shoes, he'll hop around as opposed to running or walking. Pressing A will make Kirby jump, as you know, but if you hold down B while he's airborne, he'll come down with his hands curled into "fists" at his sides and with his feet pointed downwards. He will automatically jump again when he hits the ground, but about one block higher than normally. This process can be repeated up to five times, each time increasing the height of Kirby's jump up to a five-block increase.

When Kirby's tensing up for a bounce with his spring shoes, he'll instantly kill any normal enemy that isn't invincible or a Knight (in the case of the latter, he'll take about one fourth of the Knight's health away) and take two blocks off of a mini-boss's health meter.

IF Entry

Shovel (Doka)

- From Commander Keen on May 2nd, 2009

Copied from Doka, the mole-like enemy from Kirby's Dreamland 3, the shovel ability is used with, obviously, a shovel which is held in front of him with both hands. Like the enemy, Kirby sticks his shovel into the ground and flings out a rock at an arc which goes a little more than a quarter of a screen length. Occasionaly a smaller rock will be thrown out which is less powerful, but flies longer, and even more rarely, a larger, more powerful rock that doesn't go far at all will be flung.

Shovel Kirby's hat resembles a typical miner's helmet. It is a yellow cap with a flat yellow trim. A headlight is on the middle of the front of the cap, and in some underground worlds, the glass on it is yellow, making it look like its on (but not lighting up the room like the almost worthless Light ability).

The Shovel ability has more use than just flinging dirt. It can dig through soft dirt, like the Animal ability in Squeak Squad. Also enemies can be damaged by the shovel swinging when it is flinging rocks.

Rage (Two-Face)

- From Mirror Kirby on May 2nd, 2009

The Rage ability has Kirby's skin turn a dark red tint. But when enemys hurt Kirby, steam will come out of his head, his skin turns glowing red, and he will become enraged! Rage Kirby's basic attack is doing a body slam (similar to the Warioland games). While enraged, he does significantly more damage with attacks, exhaling out enemys and doing the body slam attack go through multiple enemys, plus he takes less damage. After about 10 seconds of mindless fury, Kirby will calm down... for now.

Star (Bounder)

- From Bimblesnaff on May 1st, 2009

This power let's Kirby throw out stars, which is normally what he does anyways. These sparklers are tossed at an arc and fall downward. This allows the player to target foes on lower platforms more easily. Higher, not so much.

The ability is represented by a close fitting blue cap with a rounded, red trim that swells in the back. Coming out of the top is a flexible stalk with a star at the end. It bounces around even when Kirby is still.
