| First Game: | Kirby's Dream Land |
| Type: | Transport |
This is about the normal Warp Star that appears in the Kirby games. For information about the anime version, see Warp Star (Anime). For information about the Air Ride Machine, see Warp Star (Air Ride).
Of all the items in the Kirby games, the Warp Star (sometimes written Warpstar) is perhaps the most well known and useful. It has a very simple design- just a flattened, glowing yellow star shape, like a smaller version of Pop Star.
The Warp Star serves as Kirby's main mode of transportation, flying him rapidly from area to area with a stream of smaller stars shooting from the back. Usually Kirby is shown riding the star vertically, but more recently he rides sitting in it laying flat. (When used vertically, it can hold up to four passengers.)
