A mini-boss in the Kirby games.

Waiyu is a ninja master. It appears as a stout humanoid with stumpy arms and nearly nonexistent feet. It wears a cloth over its head, tied off in the back, leaving only its eyes exposed but covered in shadow. It has a plate over its eyes, across its forehead. It wears a baggy piece of clothing with a design on the chest. Its feet and hands are both tiny and round.

Kirby's Dream Land 2

Waiyu unleashes an arsenal of ninjitsu tactics. It can vanish from sight and sudden appear high above Kirby. It then drops to the ground and knocks out a bouncing, smoking ball that hops forward before shooting up into the air. It can also leap into the air doing a back flip, its foot making a deadly slash in the air. The ninja can also throw out blades, two at a time, that fall to the ground after they hit a wall. Only once these have fallen can Kirby inhale them. They are the only ammo Waiyu provides.

Swallowing Waiyu after its defeat grants Kirby the Cutter copy ability.
