One of Kirby's Copy abilities. Kirby gains the ability to spin at incredibly high speeds, creating a small cyclone. In this form beginning in later games, Kirby dons a crown with a green gem in the center, which sustains its own small cyclone.

Games
Kirby's Adventure
Kirby can spin at rapid speeds to sustain a tornado for a short period of time. While a tornado, he can't be harmed by anything except falling off the stage. Normally Tornado Kirby will only move along the ground, but pressing the attack button repeatedly causes him to rise into the air.
Kirby's Dream Course
When Kirby acquires Tornado, he'll move forward for a short period of time regardless of how much momentum he had left. He can also steer slightly, and if he's moving down a slope, will remain a cyclone longer.
Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land
Tornado acts the same as it did in Kirby's Adventure, only this is the first time it gains its hat.
Kirby Air Ride
After copying Tornado, Kirby can execute quick spins faster and with less of a speed reduction. He'll also automatically perform a quick spin after a boost.
Kirby & the Amazing Mirror
Tornado acts the same as it did in Nightmare in Dream Land.
Kirby Canvas Curse
Tornado appears as a rare ability in Kirby Canvas Curse. When Kirby is tapped, he will transform into a cyclone, and tapping him again will cause him to jump. Like other abilities in the game, it has no hat.
Kirby Squeak Squad
Tornado is slightly improved upon from Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, the cyclone is now larger and Kirby will remain a tornado longer. If Kirby touches water while a cyclone, he'll move across it, similar to a waterspout. After acquiring the Copy Scroll, he can touch ice, fire, or electric sparks as a cyclone and copy its elemental attributes.
Anime
Tornado is one of Kirby's most powerful abilities on the animated show, being a master of one of nature's most destructive forces. If he inhales things that spin, such as propellers, Kirby will acquire this ability. With the spinning tornado hat, he can fly through the air easily.
His main attack is spinning rapidly to form a massive pinkish cyclone that reaches all the way to the clouds. He can also spit smaller twisters from his mouth, or he can cause a medium sized tornado to manifest from the top of his hat, to pick up enemies and send them flying.
If he's in water, naturally the tornado becomes a water spout, which is useful in putting out fires.
