An uncountable number of these small creatures make up the henchmen for the group of thieves, The Squeaks, and appear as enemies when Kirby collects a chest in Kirby Squeak Squad.

They first appear along side the other members of the gang on Pop Star following their boss, Daroach, as he searches for powers supposedly hidden away in a chest. Kirby believes that they were responsible for the theft of his strawberry shortcake, and chases them down throughout the game.

Along with their superiors in the gang, the Squeakers travel around the universe, in search of treasures.

The Squeakers are small mouse-like creatures without any arms or legs, only a face and single-color body. Despite their lack of appendages, Squeakers are perfectly capable of picking things up and riding around on objects such as Warp Stars.

A Squeaker's color varies depending on what it is they do, and may be indicative of some formal ranking. Blue and Green Squeakers are stationary, and throw bombs at Kirby. Yellow Squeakers are defenseless, but move around in an attempt to take treasure. Red Squeakers only appear in one cutscene and in the sub-game Smash Ride alongside Spinni, where they ride Warp Stars.

Kirby Squeak Squad

The only game that Squeakers and the other members of The Squeaks have appeared in. The Squeakers only appear in areas with treasure chests, usually after Kirby has already taken it. They usually just act as annoyances as Kirby attempts to escape from their superiors, Spinni, Storo, and Doc, though there are occasions where only Squeakers will appear.
