Game: Kirby Super Star
Type: Subgame
Players: 1-2

A subgame in Kirby Super Star which is basically a graphically updated and altered version of the game Kirby's Dream Land. Though similar in most ways, some levels and bosses have been omitted. This is the also one of two times Kirby can use his copy abilities in the Kirby's Dream Land setting. (The game also appeared on a much smaller scale as a level in Kirby's Adventure.

It uses the same basic plot as the original game- that King Dedede has stolen everyone's food. He's seen in the opening cutscene using a band of T.A.C.s to carry out his scheme.

Version Differences

Castle Lololo was omitted from the level lineup, and Lololo and Lalala were relocated to a Castle on an islet near Float Islands. They are fought instead of the original Kaboola, as Kirby no longer needed the Sweet Potato (Mint Leaf) ability.

Aside from the most of Green Greens, both Float Islands and Bubbly Clouds do not resemble the original level designs at all. While they do share similar features, like the Stalagmite Cave, and the Secret room with The Moon, most of the original level's key landmarks are not included. Examples of these landmarks are the Whale and Pirate Ship in Float Islands, and the Pillars in the Sky in Bubbly Clouds.

Also, Bubbly Clouds' level introduction skit is actually Kirby Super Star's version of Castle Lololo's level introduction skit.
