Kirby gains no hat (only an S on his forehead on the map screen), but a lot of different methods of attacking.

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror

One of Kirby's most versatile abilities ever! The rare and powerful Smash ability is quite useful in finding all the hidden Treasure Chests. Smash can be seen as a combination of several other abilities.

Kirby's basic attacks in this form are a series of quick punches and kicks, similar to Fighter. If he jumps in the air he does a spin attack or he can drop back down as a Stone. He can also slice through enemies with a Cutter attack, or send them flying with a Hammer swing. He can cut through ropes, hit posts to unlock secrets and more.

Will Smash Kirby appear again? Only time will tell.
