| First Game: | Kirby's Dream Land |
| Ability: | Bomb |
| Category: | Regular enemy, Helper |
An enemy and helper character from Kirby's game series.
Poppy Bros. have been around since Kirby's first game, and while mostly harmless on their own, they're also sometimes seen wielding different weapons.
The basic Poppy Bros. is a clown-like fellow with a separate torso and a round head with black eyes and a big smile. They wear long hats with a ball on the end, and a frilly collar around their necks. Their shoes are curled on the end, and while they do have hands, they're usually not visible and aren't actually attached to their bodies. They come in a variety of colors.
Poppy Bros. can often be seen riding Grizzos, or balancing on top of apples or Maxim Tomatoes.

Games
Kirby's Dream Land
Only the basic type of Poppy appears in this game. They can be found in Green Greens where they just skip along the ground or ride on the backs of Grizzos but have no means of attack.
Kirby's Pinball Land
Poppy Bros. Jr. gets to appear twice in his brothers' stage. In the middle scene of the level, there are two holes beneath the two other Kirbies and food dish. A Poppy emerges from here and sets a bomb. If it is hit, it bursts and throws Kirby off course.
In the top scene, there are three chutes above the Crack Tweets. A Poppy Bros. Jr. walks out of each one to lay a bomb on the laid egg, thus destroying it. Kirby must hit them to keep them back and allow the eggs to hatch into chicks.
Kirby's Block Ball
Poppy Bros. Jr. can be found in Level 4-4 of this game. It is the guardian to the Warp Star that leads to the stage's boss.
Kirby Super Star
Poppy Bros. Jr. returns with some influence from its older brothers. There are two types: Bomb wielding Poppies and plain ones. Bomb wielding ones will simply lob explosives at Kirby and can be inhaled for the Bomb ability. The regular ones behave like before, merely wandering back and forth happily with no means of attack.
Helper-
- Bomb Poppies act as the helpers in this game, using all of the same attacks as Kirby does. Helper Poppies always have blue outfits and hats with yellow shoes and white trim.
Kirby's KiraKira Kids
Poppy Bros. Jr. is the second opponent Kirby faces in this game. It wants a piece of the fallen star, so it tosses bombs at Kirby and his friends. After losing, it falls victim to its own explosives.
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
Poppy Bros. Jr. returns as a bomb-chucking nuisance. It can be inhaled for the Bomb ability.
Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble
Poppy Bros. Jr. appears only in one stage but in two varieties. They all balance on top of apples as they roll through the level, but the red clad versions move more swiftly than the regular blue kind.
Other Games
Poppy Bros. Jr. appears in other games in its bombless version. Instead, they can be found balancing on apples or tomatoes.
Anime
Poppy makes a very brief cameo in episode 094 where it is seen undergoing training in a school for demon beasts along with many other Kirby game enemies.
