Appearance
Paint Roller is an orange sphere with jointless limbs that bend. He has two large eyes on his face but no nose or mouth. A two-tone baseball cap is worn on his head. His arms end in rounded gloves, usual holding a drawing utensil, and his feet are sporting roller skates. The colors of his clothing change depending on the game, being mostly either white and pale yellow or red and blue.

Kirby's Adventure
Paint Roller is the boss of Ice Cream Island. His stage is a two floor area, with a gap in the middle of the upper floor, where four easels are positioned, one in each corner. He hops and rolls between the drawing boards and scribbles upon them. The drawing created comes to life and flies at Kirby. This process of moving to a board and drawing is repeated until he is defeated. Many of the pictures contain Copy Abilities.
- Waddle Doodle - A crude picture of Waddle Dee scampers towards Kirby.
- Baseball - A ball rolls from the canvas and towards Kirby. It contains the Ball ability.
- Car-toon - A simplistic, red vehicle screeches towards Kirby. It offers the Wheel power.
- Nimbus - A dark storm cloud is scribbled which floats and across the screen raining down bolts of thunder. If it can be caught, it rewards Spark.
- Umbrella - A parasol will float off the canvas and drift towards Kirby. Swallow it for Parasol power.
- Microphone - A walking mike scuttles off the page and onward. It gives Mike.
- Bomb - A round, black bomb pops off the canvas. If it can be ate before it explodes, Kirby gets the devastating Crash power.
- Crude Kirby - As the ultimate insult (not attack), a picture in Kirby's likeness, only misshapen, charges at him.

Paint Roller is the eleventh competitor that must be challenged in the Ghost Trap competition.
Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land
Paint Roller reappears in the remake to do exactly what he did the first time.
