NOVA is a gigantic mechanical structure who resides in the depths of space. It is summoned by gathering the power of the surrounding stars of the solar system and will grant a single wish.

Appearance

NOVA is a large, golden machine shaped like a pocket watch. Around its perimeter are various object, including a wind vane, keyboard keys, light bulbs, gears, a telescope, compass, globe, and watch.

Games

When all eight stars are completed, it appears on the map after Halfmoon. It does not contain a level of game play outside of leading to the final two boss battles. The fight against Heart of NOVA takes place entirely within the construct.

When Kirby gathers the eight stars, his wish for the Sun and Moon to stop fighting is interrupted as Marx knocks him out of the way and, instead, wishes to rule Pop Star. When Marx is defeated, he crashes into the giant machine and causes it to explode.

In Meta Knightmare Ultra, Meta Knight collects the stars once more, reassembling NOVA. He uses his wish to fight the most powerful warrior in the universe, Galacta Knight.
