One of Kirby's Copy abilities. Similar to Stone and Iron. When acquired, Kirby's body turns entirely into metal making him immune to most attacks.

Kirby Squeak Squad

After acquiring Metal, Kirby's becomes completely immune to attacks from normal enemies. He has no attacks himself, except crushing foes in his path. Unfortunately, his speed is also greatly reduced, and his increased weight makes floating or swimming a huge effort. Metal Kirby also has no method of attacking bosses or mini-bosses, requiring that Kirby drop the ability in order to attack.

With Metal, Kirby can perform a ground pound attack in midair, which can also be used to pound stakes into the ground. After acquiring the Copy Scroll for Metal, Kirby gains the ability to become a rounded metal ball, which will cause him to roll downhill on a slope, attacking anything in the way.
