Appearance

Kracko Jr. is a large, disembodied eye. It is completely spherical with a large, blue tinted pupil. Surrounding it is four tiny orbs of a white color. They spin about the eye as it flies about.

Games

Kirby's Dream Land

Kracko Jr. serves as the mini-boss for the Bubbly Clouds level. It battles Kirby by dropping Waddle Doos and raining down cannon balls. It sweeps down and bounces across the floor in an effort to run into Kirby. Once defeated, it flies away to return as Kracko.

In Extra Mode, Kracko Jr. changes its flight pattern and its ammunition from Waddle Doos to bombs.

Kirby's Adventure

At the top of Grape Garden, there is not only a boss battle but a miniature level. Before Kracko is actually battled, Kracko Jr. is confronted.

Starting at the lowest level, Kracko Jr. chases Kirby up a series of variously shaped and lengthed cloud platforms. If too long is spent on a place, it is destroyed by Kracko Jr. The scene only moves up, and falling off the bottom kills Kirby. At the start and periodically throughout the ascension, a Starman can be found, offering the Hi-Jump ability which greatly aids in the escape and battle of Kracko.

Once a solid, full floor of cloud is touched upon, Kracko fluffs up to its true form and begins battle.

Kirby's Pinball Land

Kracko Jr. appears in the first part of the Kracko boss fight. It does not attack, but after four hits the entire cloud forms and it turns into Kracko.

Kirby's Dream Land 2

Kracko Jr. precedes the appearance of Kracko in the Cloudy Park boss battle. The cloud floor bubbles up with a large eye that dips in and out. It will spring up, releasing a Co-Kracko and fight Kirby for a bit before sinking back into the clouds.

While above, Kracko Jr. continues its trend of swooping down at Kirby. When it no longer wishes to stay up, it launches off the surrounding orbs, either each one off diagonally in a different direction or as one lumped ball, and makes them explode before it vanishes into the clouds below. When it drops in, a Co-Kracko pops out. Once defeated, Kracko Jr. grows into Kracko and refills another full life meter.

Kirby Super Star

In Spring Breeze, Kracko serves as the mini-boss to the Bubbly Clouds level just as it did in the original game.

Kracko Jr. is reunited with Waddle Doo, releasing the cyclops as fodder to be used as return fire. It still makes broad sweeps of the ground and occationally bounces off it. Also, it will drop off bombs three at a time. After being defeated, it flies away to return later.

Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land

Kracko Jr. behaves just as it did in Kirby's Adventure, having retained its behavior in the remake.

Kirby Super Star Ultra

Kracko Jr. acts exactly as it did in Kirby Super Star. However, a stronger version appears in the new Revenge of the King sub-game as the mini-boss of Crash Clouds. It also makes an appearance in The True Arena. Its iris is thinner and red, its pupil is black, and the orbs surrounding the eye are purple instead of white.

The stronger version retains all of the attacks that it had previously but moves faster than before. Its new abilities include dropping five bombs at a time and traversing the perimeter of the arena.
