Appearance
Fatty Whale is a large, blue, baling whale. It wears a white sailor suit, shirt only, with a red kerchief tied about its neck. He carries a smoking pipe in his mouth. His belly is white.

Kirby Super Star
Fatty Whale appears as a boss in Great Cave Offensive, again as the leader of Aqualiss, and is featured in The Arena.
Fatty is fought on a dock by a large, open body of water. He only swims and never enters dry land. During his battle, he performs one of many actions. Fatty can slowly swim across the screen and, while doing so, blow a stream of water from his blow hole. This drops debris and Blippers that can be inhaled for ammo or, in case of the prior, the Stone ability. Fatty can quickly roll across the screen, which produces no ammunition. Other times, he rolls along in short hops, leaping up short distances along his travel. If he jumps from deep in the back of the scene, he lands in the center of the screen near the dock and creates a huge splash. The water lifts up the player and drops them along with various sized debris and fish. A splash can also be created from him leaping from one side of the screen to the other.
Kirby Super Star Ultra
Fatty Whale returns with no changes to his appearance or behavior. A red colored version serves as the boss in Milky Way Wishes and Helper to Hero despite acting and being identical to the original blue.
