Drawcia is one of the boss characters that Kirby must fight in his game series. She is also one of only two female final bosses, along with Grill.

Drawcia is a witch that came from an old, unknown painting and, over time, gained life. She desired a world made of paint and transformed Dream Land into a twisted painted realm using the Magical Paintbrush. Kirby attempted to confront her for her deeds but had his limbs stolen by her magic to render him no longer a threat.

Drawcia Sorceress

Drawcia's basic form is a cloaked, purple witch. She wears a conical hat with a wide brim. The point is bent downward and curls at the tip. A pink band is tied about the base. A purple cloak wraps her body with alternating orange and blue points at the bottom. The split is trimmed with a zigzag pattern. A large, golden button adorns the top at each side. Her body is rounded with a sharply tapered point at the bottom and lavender skin. Long gray hair reaches down to her full length. Only one of her yellow eyes shows at a time as most of her face is concealed behind a pink scarf and her hat. On her belly is a large, golden, eye-like shape.

In battle, the sorceress drifts about an ever-changing background with a simple, flat floor beneath her. Her first and primary means of attack is firing large, surging energy blasts out of her belly. She parts her garment and protrudes her flashing stomach before shooting. These shots can be reflected off of drawn lines back at her. Successfully deflecting an attack stuns the witch and leaves her vulnerable attack by rolling Kirby into her. This is the only means she can be damaged. Occasionally, rather than firing the energy blast, a swarm of smaller Drawcia are released. These can not be rebound at her but can be disposed of by tapping them with the Magical Paintbrush.

Drawcia can summon a canvas and paintbrush to paint a means of attack. If an enemy is draw, several off-color versions of that foe appear. A picture of a spike is a warning that large, sharp spikes will soon emerge from the ground. Their pattern, however, is predictable enough to avoid easily, such as merging from one side and stepping to the other. If a bomb appears in the frame, a rain of parachuting explosives fall down. These can be tapped with the paintbrush to detonate them before they reach the ground. There are occasions when Drawcia hovers from one side of the room to the other, as well as flying quickly off the screen and descending across the room. Avoiding these attacks require carefully guiding the player.

Once the sorceress is defeated, her garments vanish as she begins to change. The battle resumes against Drawcia Soul.

Drawcia Soul

Her form is a very large, purple, blob-like sphere. While commonly distorted, her true face can been seen at several points. Five yellow eyes line up across her upper side as a single, gaping mouth-like, eye-like feature fills most of her front face.

Drawcia Soul is battled in a nearly colorless expanse. The player continues the fight with as much vitality had at the end of the previous. If beaten at this point, Drawcia Sorceress must be battled again. She begins the fight deep in the background and can only attack directly upon drawing nearer.

While back, she can release blobs of Para Matter. These progress forward and open briefly to reveal an X shape and a concealed eye. If tapped with the paintbrush soon enough, they are thrown back and damage Drawcia. If too slow, they attack according to their color. Red ones blaze and slowly home the player before exploding. Blue quickly dive downward.

Drawcia Soul can break her body apart into into various colors. This causes rainbow colored sickles to rain down upon the player, but they can be blocked with a barrier of ink. If Drawcia appears near the foreground and opens up a hole in her body, a series of curved blades are about to be launched out.

Drawcia can charge from the background forward to attack the player. If she does so in leaping bounds, where she will end up can be predicted and avoided. If she dashes out of side, she will shortly return from that side and bowl through the area. The player must be lifted from the ground to avoid her.

When she begins teleporting near the foreground, her central eye can be tapped with the paintbrush. Doing so three times causes her to be stunned. The player can be rolled into her to inflict damage while in this state.

When her life is depleted, she returns to her painting and is destroyed.
