The leader of thief gang The Squeaks, and an enemy in the Kirby games.

Daroach is a mysterious character who first appears on Pop Star seeking a powerful force sealed away in a chest. Due to some confusion, Kirby believes he and his gang stole his slice of strawberry shortcake, which is the reason he pursues them.

He and his gang travel around the universe to find and steal valuable items they find.

Any personal history, or source of motivation for making the gang and searching for the "sealed powerful force" are unknown and remain undisclosed.

Appearance

Daroach is a dark gray mouse or rat who wears a dark red hat and cape that somewhat resembles the wings of a bat. His arms and feet have long claws, but don't appear to be attached to his body. He wears a small bell around his neck. He also floats by some unknown power, and can teleport at will.

Despite his claws, his main way of attacking is with a scepter he carries that can fire beams of ice, or with a special item called the Triple Star.

The only game he and the others have appeared in. Daroach first appears after Kirby battles King Dedede, stealing a large treasure chest that Kirby believes contains his shortcake.
