Crackity Hack is a timing mini-game where the player tries to break through a stone with super strength. First they power up, then aim the strike to deal the greatest blow. A fissure is made and travels down through the earth. There are four players, with the additional roles filled by the CPU if not a human. The contest only earns a rank among the four and does not accomplish points, extra lives, or bonus.
The contest begins with a powering-up stage. The puffballs build up a fiery aura by filling bars. It rises to full before falling. Pressing A closer to the the top yields more power. The bar fills four times over ten seconds. After all participants complete their bars, an aimer appears. It rises and drops quickly over the target. The closer to the mark the button is pressed, the greater the number produced. The highest score possible is 999.99 while the lowest, pressing no buttons, is 20.00.
The game is similar to Megaton Punch found in Kirby Super Star.
