Block Kirby is a mystery to us all. It is one of the many unused things found in Kirby Squeak Squad's ROM. As to what it is, or what it does, no one knows, and the game was specifically coded for nobody to be able to find out.

With Block, Kirby seems to wield Doroche's wand, like the Triple Star. ... But, with it, Kirby also seems to wear a hat that resembles the Mirror Copy Ability. If it was just another version of the Triple Star or not, is still up for question. It is not exactly possible to guess exactly what Block is supposed to do.

Cheating

The only way Kirby can get Block is through a cheat engine. With a cheat engine and DeSmuME 0.5.0, you edit values at 017ECA4C for the English version. The Japanese version's address is located at 017EC30C.

The value for Block is 25 on the list 31. It is in between 24 (Ghost), and 26 (Triple Star).

However, as soon as Kirby gets the ability, he will automatically discard it. Kirby refuses to keep the ability (in the same way as adding in the value of 32 or higher, as there are no abilities by then).

Currently, attempts with hacking to try and get Kirby to keep the Block ability has only resulted in extreme lag in the Emulator, or even the ROM crashing/corrupting.
