Zero is one of the boss characters that Kirby must fight in his game series. It reveals itself after a lesser form is beaten.

Games

In the final battle of Kirby's Dream Land 3 in the Hyper Zone, Zero must be faced after defeating Dark Matter with the Love-Love Stick.

Zero is a large, round, white entity with a single red eye in its center. Its size takes up most of the screen's height. Anywhere can be targeted for damage.

Zero generally drifts up and down the scene at the right side from where it unleashes a small staple of attacks. Miniature versions of Dark Matter are created and launched at Kirby. Red lines also appear on its surface and seep out oval-shaped shots. Occasionally, it will lunge forward, leaving little room to escape its girth. Some of these times, it continues forward until leaving the screen. It reappears in the background where it fires a series of red shots from its eye that leave a trail across the screen.

When its life meter is first depleted, it is not through with Kirby. The red eye breaks out of the white body and chases Kirby about the scene in a last ditch effort. It has no attacks in this form and is very susceptible to damage, making it easily beaten. After this point, Zero is truly defeated.
