Zero Two is one of the boss characters that Kirby must fight in his game series.

Zero Two is a large, round, white entity with a tapering point at its bottom. It has a single red eye at the center of its body. Two segmented wings, a pixelated representation of feathers, float at its sides. Above, a halo hangs above a bandage on the top of its form. When first seen, Zero Two bears a smiling face and two beady black eyes, but this quickly disappear to reveal its true, sinister face.

Games

After having defeated Miracle Matter, if all of the Crystal Shards have been gathered, Kirby must travel to the newly opened world, Dark Star, to face the final form of Dark Matter with the Crystal Gun.

Zero Two floats in the center of the stage and does not move from this position but does pivot to track the player. Initially, the boss sprays out energy shots from its eye that burst into small shock waves after traveling a certain distance. The eye must be attacked first. This inflicts no damage to Zero Two but eventually stuns it for a short time. The wings can be shot as well and destroyed. Taking them out slows Zero Two down, making it easier to hit and to dodge.

Once stunned, the player must fly upward and attack the halo. It changes in color as hit from yellow to blue to red before breaking. After the exposed, bandaged area is struck, Zero Two starts to flail about as a thorny protrusion emerges from beneath it. This sprays out a series of green vapor as an attack. The player must fly around to this lower side and attack the tail. Hitting here depletes the boss's life meter. Each blow shortens the tail, and it returns to normal after receiving so much damage. The player must return to attacking the eye and repeat the cycle.

Once the life meter is depleted, Zero Two begins to pour streaks of light out from its body as well as a green substance. It explodes and destroys Dark Star as well.
