Nruff & Nelly1749 viewsOh yeeea, everyone! Get ready for KDL2+3 Boss time! N&N, the Hedge/Wart/Ground/Pork-Hog Family Combo hails from Kirby 2. Nruff, the small Child-Hog, is numerous. His distinctive markings are his white stripes. After his grand success as a boss in his first game, Nruff was unfairly downgraded to a regular, ability-less enemy in the Shimomura squeals. Waddle Dees are sometimes their jockeys. Nelly, the larger Parent-Hog, however, only appears in this single boss fight, and only as a single entity. There was but one, now vanquished by the pink menace, leaving her litter of orphans to spread across the land, fending for themselves. N&N are fought similar to other combo bosses, such as Lololo/Lalala and Pon/Con.2 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Waiyu.JPG
Waiyu1788 viewsThe last of the minibosses. Ninja Master Waiyu is one of the fiercest opponents to challenge Kirby in Dreamland 2, his only appearence. He attacks wearing traditional shinobi garb, with his clan's plate on forhead, hiding his eyes beneath a cloth in similar fasion as Meta Knight. In combat, Waiyu is able to spring into the air, doing flips and vanishing from view. He can throw out smoke bombs to further hamper visability. His only fault is a sweep of energy released from one of his slashing kicks-- the projectile attack may catch his opponent off-guard, but if Kirby can manage to inhail it, he can send it right back at Waiyu for big damage! Dispite being the greatest embodyment of a ninja in the series, Waiyu actually yields the Cutter ability. He is also one of the few humanoid characters on Popstar. His relative is Biospark, certinally!6 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Blocky.JPG
Blocky1635 viewsAnother of the minibosses that appear in both Dreamland 2+3. Blocky is also oh-so-simple, in design and tactics. His manuvers in battle include a dash attack in Kirby's direction (what a surprize!) and a jump-and-drop routine. I believe that his collision with both the stage's walls and floor create rubble which Kirby can utilize for and inhale/exhale attack. Did you know that Blocky's first appearence was actually in the HAL-produced "Adventures of Lolo" series? According to this game, I have reason to believe he is based on the Japanese Nurikabe stone-wall yokai (only more Kirby-like). He would get in the way of Lolo's progression through the maze, much like the creature mentioned. Also, did you know that in the anime episode featuring Blocky, after chipping away at his sumo-styled-self, his appearence reverted to this from (seen in the sculpture)? We have learned so much today ^_^!3 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Capt_Stich.JPG
Captain Stitch1794 viewsCapt. Stitch is a giant Gordo-- that is obvious. Unlike his invincible brethren, the needle miniboss is actually semi-vulnerable! Like many of the simpler MB's, Stitch charges in Kirby's direction, in a vein attempt at knocking off one of his opponent's life bars. He will miss his shot, however, if the player dodges in time, and will slam into the wall, knocking the Captain senseless. Only when his spikes fall off can Stitch be damaged. Another attack is sending his spikes themselves flying at Kirby, again leaving him open for attack. With all of his superior defences, one would wonder why he chooses to attack at all, since everything he does has the potential to kill him. He should take a lesson from the real Gordos.4 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Jumpershoot.JPG
Jumpershoot1673 views"Pyon Pyon" Now bear witness to Mr. Kasabake, himself! With his single eye and long lolling tounge, "Kuru Kuru" Jumpershoot rapidly ascends to the sky! Asore! Let's hear it for the Yokai, yo! There is little doubt that this particular parasol miniboss is one of my favorite characters in the Kirby series. His battle tactics are the same in both of his appearences, KDL2+3; he will kick off his geta as a projectile, to Kirby's aid, or spin into a tornado, allowing him a few moments of invincibility. Like a handful of other creatures in Dreamland, Jumpershoot has roots in Japanese lore, specifically the Tsukumogami Karakasa-Obake. Catch him and other mentioned ghouls this Halloween in my big "Gegege no Kitaro/ Kirby" cross-over! His relative is Drifter.1 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Kapar.JPG
Kapar1574 viewsKapar the Kappa. The Japanese water-imp with a love of cucumbers and a fragile dome-shaped head. Kapar are generally found near/ in water where they employ amphibious tactics to attack/ evade Kirby. The "hair" surrounding their bald scalp is actually a saw-like disk that they can send flying across the screen. Thus, Kapar is a cutter ability holding enemy. Though nowhere as sinister as their mythological counterparts, Kapar are still very tricky and annoying at times. You know, like how they jump right up in front of you so you'll collide with them, or how they swim after you and throw their disks under water?! For me, it's a love-hate relationship...3 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Photo_SHOOT!_2.JPG
Photo SHOOT! (Bonus 2)2487 viewsIt's a biggie! A new Kirby's Photo shoot with almost all the sculptures seen thus far. Everyone I have made in the Kirby's Adventure series is here. Now you can see the madness from 3 different directions (3-D?!). Some of the poses were hard to get due to space and balance issues. The next group I will be doing is a combination of KDL2 & KDL3, because the two are so similar, and that I (may) be running low on reserves! Just kidding-- Many more glorious sculptures to come!6 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Pengy.JPG
Pengy1731 viewsHe is so cute~ and it's not even Meta Knight in a costume! The Pengy is a rare creature, living in cold climates, enhancing the chill with his sub-zero breath. They slide around on their stomaches, which also happen to be their lower-bills. Being as rare as they are, Pengys have often been replaced by other ice-blowing enemies. But recently, perhaps due to sprite designing lazyness, they have been making a comeback, from their appearence in NiDL. Their relatives are Emp, Cocori, and Master Pengy; but certainly NOT King Dedede XD.4 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

King_Dedede.JPG
King Dedede2322 viewsHere he is: the baddest of the bad/ the best of the best... KING DEDEDE! This guy needs no introduction because he is featured in just about every Kirby game ever made. His famous wardrobe consists of a great king's red robe with white fur trim and a 'peace sign' on back, a crown/hat combo with a golden egg on the front and a puff ball on top, a haramaki waistband with alternating red and yellow triangles, and a big wooden mallet with a star printed on both faces. This model is based on Dedede's appearence in the advance-style games. Behold, KING DEDEDE! I love him so. But, there are surely better ones to come in the future, to stick around!5 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Shippuu_001.jpg
In Honor of KCCh: Shippuu3670 views[Full View Please] Dedicated to the fine team working on the Fan Game, Kirby: Cosmic Chaos, composed of Huwpow00, Mico, KlonoaWarrior, Booman77, T3h-Sparksta, Alby, GBAKirbster2007, Caat, Mamthew, And the great Minon! (everyone, yes?!) Anyway, Shippuu is an original character included in KCCh that holds the new Fan Ability. He is also a Tengu, hence he has caught my interest. I have modified his look a little, giving him a Shimenawa rope with Yuigesa pompoms. Also is wearing Tengu-Geta and Tokin. Sakura Pen, Colored Pencils, and Watercolor Markers.8 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Wheel_Sleep.jpg
Wheel / Sleep1804 viewsThe fastest ability and the absolute slowest ability! Wheel is a mighty destructive force, like the Tornado of the ground. With this ability, Kirby sports a backwards red racing cap, while resting. When he activates the wheel attack, Kirby's body actually morphs into a pink wheel, capable of running down nearly any enemy or obstacle in the way. He can speed over water and is invincible to most attacks in this form. However, when turning, or if he strikes a solid wall, Kirby will be rendered vulnerable and stunned for a split second; just long enough to seal his fate! Oppositely, the Sleep Ability is completely stationary (even more-so than Stone) and has no method of offense what-so-ever. Really, it is more of a liability than anything good, and is best avoided. Some (the game-designers, apparently) love this ability because it makes Kirby look even more cute than he already is, what with his stocking cap and drool, but even I discard this facet of Sleep. Though crappy in most every appearance, Sleep actually proved useful in two games. In Kirby Air Ride, players who made contact with a racer overcome with Sleep caused the ability to be passed onto them, as well. Also, in Kirby Squeak Squad, the upgraded version of Sleep would restore a lot of the user's health, sacrificing the ability afterword. I know I said I'd do two updates today, but I'm overcome with work, and want to prolong these figs a little longer...4 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555
