Kaboola.JPG
Kaboola2451 viewsEverything about Kaboola is epic. This is the original Kaboola boss from Kirby's Dream Land; other variations include the duel-cannon sporting model from Blockball, and the killer-revamped model from the new KSSU (not that I have made those, too)! She is a large blimp with a hexagon design on her sides, pink fins, and a cannon (shotzo) underneath. She could totally pwn Dreamland if Kirby didn't have a special item to aid in her destruction. I usually make my sculptures out of Super Sculpy polymer clay, but with very large figures like Kaboola, Whispy and Kracko, I use air-drying clay that comes in great quantities. It is cheap and effective. Also, I had to re-enforce the wire I use to hold up 'flying' characters.12 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Meta_Knight.JPG
Meta Knight2382 viewsYou know him. You love him. You have waited patiently, so here he is. Meta Knight in all he deminutive glory. He is leader of the Meta-Knight army, captain of the Battleship Halberd, and object of fangirls' desires the world over. He constantly challenges Kirby to a duel of the sword. Besides his amazing swordmanship, MK has the power to turn his body into a tornado, and the power to sprout bat wings for flight. He has been shown to be speedy but lacking in vitality. Everyone already knows what he looks like under the mask; so the real question would be, Who is the stronger boss, him or Dedede?12 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Dreamland_Group.JPG
Dreamland Group (1st Series)2350 viewsYou all have waited patiently, and now you can see the end product of the first group of sculptures I've uploaded here! Every character that I have made originating from Kirby's Dream Land is here. This four-panel picture in arranged as follows: 1) Boss Rush, 2) Small group, 3+4) Large group (from two diff. angles). I plan to upload a compilation pic such as this, after every section or so. I also wanted to include a background, but it was hard enough just to arrange all these figures properly, and I do not have the fancy programs to do such.3 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Meta_Knight_Ultra.JPG
Meta Knight Ultra2344 viewsWave 2 of my Ultimate Kirby Super Star Sculpture Series. Sorry for the delay, but the holidays disrupted my schedule a bit, and, who really expected me to work my butt off non-stop to hastily finish this set for no benefit to myself? The extra time spent will show in the upcoming masterpieces. These will come at a more reasonable rate, so I do not immediately hog the whole Fan Creation Showcase from all other wonderful artists. I believe I'll remake this sculpture in a style more similar to MK's victory pose as seen at the end of Meta Knightmare Ultra, in he future.11 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Photo_SHOOT!_4.jpg
Photo SHOOT! (Bonus 4)2341 viewsTime now for another Daimyo Sculpture Photo Group, kiddies. This one exhibits all of the characters I have constructed that appear in Kirby's Super Star, as well as the graphically enhanced versions of Brawl characters (who coincide with KSS). Yes, many characters from Spring Breeze, Dyna Blade, Revenge of Meta Knight, and Milky Way Wishes are gathered for one of the largest Photo SHOOTs yet. All of the helpers and abilities, friends and foes, mini-macro-and-mega bosses in one big pic-- But it is STILL somehow incomplete. It is for this reason that I aim to construct one final, amazing, god-blessed, ultimate series of hand-painted sculptures this Christmas, for KRR. It will include new elements of Super Star Ultra, figures and characters not seen in this pic of “regular” Super Star, and possibly even some requests, if they are strong enough. So, be on the lookout for much more of my artwork as we proceed to years end! (Until then, be content with my “Stragglers Set”: various characters from post-SuperStar games that don't exactly make up one large group. CYA!)4 commentsDedede-Daimyo
King_Dedede.JPG
King Dedede2323 viewsHere he is: the baddest of the bad/ the best of the best... KING DEDEDE! This guy needs no introduction because he is featured in just about every Kirby game ever made. His famous wardrobe consists of a great king's red robe with white fur trim and a 'peace sign' on back, a crown/hat combo with a golden egg on the front and a puff ball on top, a haramaki waistband with alternating red and yellow triangles, and a big wooden mallet with a star printed on both faces. This model is based on Dedede's appearence in the advance-style games. Behold, KING DEDEDE! I love him so. But, there are surely better ones to come in the future, to stick around!5 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Mr__Shine___Mr__Bright.JPG
Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright2308 viewsWould this be considered a double update? Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright are a couple of reoccuring bosses, first appearing in 'Adventure. Mr. Moonshine is yellow and crescent shaped and has cutter ability attacks, while Mr. Sunbright is red-orange with firey attributes. They attack in simple tag-team fashion, but also can combine for devistating power. Though they resemble Popstar's solar satillites, they are distinct from the actual Sun and Moon. Characters such as these were interesting to make, because it is the first time they have appeared in 3D.10 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Paint_Roller.JPG
Paint Roller2304 viewsBoss Time! Paint Roller is a skilled artist and second boss of Kirby's Adventure (the first was Whispy, but I've already presented him). With his baseball cap and roller skates, he zips around the arena, from platforms to canvas, painting things that come to life. Of course, everything he paints tries to hurt Kirby, but Kirb can inhail them and gain abilities that can be used to damage PR. His appearence resembles an orange Lololo. His limbs are made of wire, painted black, with clay hands and feet. Go art!11 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Poppy_Bro__Sr_.JPG
Poppy Bros. Sr.2290 viewsThe first Miniboss! Poppy Bros. Sr. is an outstanding foe in Dreamland. He can make and toss explosives just like Bomberman, except he is much more nimble! His fame began in KDL, then in KA he offered the crash ability when defeted, then in KSS Poppy Sr. returned with the introduction of the bomb ability. Hopefully, HAL will continue the Poppy Bros. and not ax them for replacements in future games, as the trend appears. This figure is roughly 4 inches tall. Next week: The Bosses!12 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Dynablade.jpg
Dyna Blade2277 viewsThe biggest figure in my entire set, and the final (proper) Super Star Sculpture! First off, that frontal view picture is distorted, somehow; her wing span is much longer than it appears. Second, I used the 'bad clay' on this one (opposed to the 'good clay' I'd used on the enemies and minibosses) so excuse any design flaws. Dyna Blade makes her entrance in KSS's second sub-game. She steals Dreamland's crops to feed her hungry chicks. Kirby resolves this and flies off into the sunset with the mother and her matured babies. A second appearance in the game has DB assisting Kirby, after his Warpstar was blown out of the sky by the Halberd. She returns in the anime as a grossly-altered, ugly 3-D version of her former self. Later, she appears in Kirby Air Ride as an unstoppable monster in City Trial. I never understood why they called her “White Winged” Dyna Blade, because her wings are ironically rainbow-ish in color (I took advantage of this and lazily did the back of her wings white XP). So as not to break her fragile toes/legs/feet, I hot-glued a clear, plastic CD-holder to her for a base. I thank everyone for viewing my artwork~!3 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Drawcia.jpg
Drawcia2269 viewsDrawcia Sorceress is the main antagonist of the modern Kirby game, Canvas Curse. She was originally just a painting, but one day got hold of the Power Paintbrush, and began to exact her revenge on the land. She turned all of Dream Land into a painting, and when Kirby tried to confront her, she removed him of his arms and legs! Drawcia then goes into hiding, painting enemies and bosses, such as Paint Roller, Kracko, and Dedede in a mine-cart, in order to halt Kirby's progress with the help of the Paintbrush. Kirby again meets with Drawcia in Her World, and duel-layered, challenging battle ensues. Another form of her's seen in this climactic moment is Drawcia Soul, a monstrous globe of paint, as well as the little Mini-Drawcias and Paramatters. Once Kirby has sealed the Witch in a painting, Dream Land returns to normal, and everyone grows their appendages back, I guess. This is Witch-Week on the 3D Daimyo Dojo.6 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Heavy_Mole.JPG
Heavy Mole2254 viewsThis is one of my favorite sculptures in my collection. Heavy Mole is sooo badass, but hardly anyone gives him the slightest respect. He is a literal digging machine; his boss battle is held under-ground in the labyrinth-like tunnels he diggs. Kirby must attack him without falling too far behind- and watch out for the Dyglops bombs! Seriously, if there is one character never before seen in 3D who desparetly needs to be, this is it. HAL needs to bring back this dude, like they did Kaboola. >Made of bulk-clay10 commentsDedede-Daimyo
