Metaknight - Red Sands456 viewsThis picture was created out of a desire to try something different. It was drawn and shaded with a 0.7 mechanical pencil, and blurred with a paper stump and tissue. I'm extremely pleased with the way it turned out.
This particular background is actually from memory; I've been to this place once, and this picture does not do it justice.

Metaknight - Red Sands - Color697 viewsThis is a colored version of the black and white 'Metaknight - Red Sands' that is in my gallery.
There are some things that I like about the colored version versus the black and white, but I don't think those trees are one of them. I'm really happy with Metaknight, though -- the contrast between him and the background really makes him stand out.
