Where the Land Meets the Sea

Really, in what other game series can you ride on the backs of hamsters and in the mouths of sunfish? Done with colored pencil and ink. First upload, so be kind-but not TOO kind. Feel free to give your constructive criticism.

Man, I love the color work on this! And it is in the showcase! Good job. The only thing that really sticks out to me is the slightly angular outlines. I want to see more from you. Very Happy

This picture's delightful. It's almost as though the platforms that Rick is jumping on are rising from the sea Kine is exploring.

The style is just wonderful. For some reason, those lines are really something.

There are very few things on the internet more surprising than opening up a website and seeing the artwork that, as of yesterday, wasn't even approved yet, on the front page (unless you're on 4chan, of course). And Diddgery, I'm glad you noticed that, I meant to avoid a distinct line between the picture's two halves for that very reason. Positive feedback is strangely intoxicating. Perhaps I'll try my hand at the frontpage picture challenge...

Another excellent first upload! I'm a big fan of colored pencil work; I like how you have the light reflecting off the characters and scenery, also the color-contrast between heavily-applied and lightly-grazed pencil. (Kine may be missing his side fins) BUT... that pipe has reminded me of the areas in KDL2 where you need the fish to get past turbulent seas.
