Kirby's Rainbow Resort

I am humbled to see people who are dedicated to keeping the Rainbow Resort an active community. I would like to participate by giving out discussions. The pink puff we love isn't the only Kirby. In fact, there are lots things that have been coincidentally named "Kirby". There are other characters, businesses, persons, locations, and household appliances all share this very same name. Here, we discuss non-Nintendo Kirbyreleared entities that were coincidentally given this name.

We have John Kirby. He was a Nintendo lawyer who defended Nintendo during the Nintendo v. Universal lawsuit, in which Iniversal sued Nintendo for infringing on "King Kong".

There was a Star Wars character named "Kirby".

A file-based CMS named "Kirby".

Kirby Morrow was a Canadian voice actor who voiced Goku in Dragon Ball Z's Candian dub. A Redditor met him at a convention. The Redditor asked Kirby Morrow to sign a picture of Kirby with his face photoshopped with his autograph.

Theres a really awful disney channel show called Kirby Buckets

The Brave Little Toaster has a vacuum cleaner character whose name is Kirby. Kirby the Nintendo character probably wasn't named after the real life vacuum brand, but Kirby the cartoon vacuum cleaner obviously was!

Come on, it couldn't possibly not be a coincidence!

There's the late baseball player named Kirby Puckett and he played solely for the Minnesota Twins.

There are a few streets named Kirby as well, such as Kirby Road in Vaughan, a suburb north-northwest of Toronto.

There's Kirby Dick, better known as the director of the film "This Film Is Not Yet Rated," which is an exposé of the MPAA film rating system.

There's also the New York Yankees relief pitcher Kirby Yates as well.

It would be interesting if Yates were to visit Nintendo New York to promote Kirby: Planet Robobot.

I see those plush dragon toys throughout the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) in Toronto.

Finally, Caravan has the Canadian rights to manufacturing plush Pokémon toys for fairgrounds (such as the aforementioned CNE). Caravan would be forced to rename its amphibian plush Kirby toys if it were to obtain a Canadian licence for the puffball plush Kirby toys.
