How do? I'm Patrick, and I'm probably older than everyone. :( I used to come here back before the ezboards (so that history when you click on the forums tab from the main site? I remember all of that
), and then again around the time the anime was new. I went by the handle Kine the Genius, maybe you remember, maybe you don't?
Well, any old way, I'm getting right to it. I ended up making a re-arrangement album called Playing with Stars: Kirby's Star Stacker / KIRAKIRA KIDS
, which was made entirely with WarioWare DIY (which if you "cheat", can be used make some decent music).Kirby 20th Anniversary - Playing with Stars: Title

I chose to do videos, despite the fact that I have tagged MP3s ready to go, because I don't really know if anybody wants MP3s of music created from a DS game, so this is a safer bet. However, let me know if you'd still like to have them.
It includes every last song from Kirby's Star Stacker re-arranged and revamped to give it some updated sound, but most importantly to keep the spirit of the original soundtrack the same. If there's any oldbies around, you might remember me going on about how Kirby's Star Stacker always had my favorite Kirby soundtrack, and that still holds true today. I also touched on how every other version lost focus from the original, as the Original CD Masters version included dumbed down versions, and the Super Famicom's music was by and large extremely generic.
With that, you find the music sticks with the overall theme, which is twinkly, starry overtones, and the stage themes are completely intact, enviromentally (and seasonally as I couldn't resist). So, for example, that means "Super Hard / Great" sounds
like an ice level, and not... bland. Music is also 98% note for note identical to the GB original (other 2% accounts for the limitations of WarioWare), I guess because I'm a bit musically OCD like that, and don't like how some notes were changed/removed in every version after (see Spring/Normal/Easy. The fact that the harmony isn't as unique in the OCDM and SFC versions as it was in the original is one of those things that just bother me).
Well, anyway, the descriptions in the videos may have some extra individual notes, so I won't type your eyeballs out. Nevertheless, hope you enjoy it! Also, some videos may still be processing some lighting issues, the changes they made were awful. Hopefully that'll be fixed soon. Also, AFAIK I think I'm the only one to rearrange a Star Stacker tune outside of METEOR (or Blue Comet) years back, let alone the entire soundtrack. Do I get a prize?
Oh, and Kirby? Happy birthday you old sod. :P
