Yeah, we do some stupid stuff on AFD. We play music and pretend to be ridiculous pokegods and filter random words and mess around in otherwise "serious" topics. But it's just a joke.

A joke.



Don't freak out about these things, guys! We're not ruining the forum! We can trim posts out of topics, word censors are removed, music can be stopped. It's all harmless, and if you're willing to pull the rock out of your butt, you can have some fun, too!

And if you don't like it? If you're not in the mood to deal with a raging metal dinosaur? No prob, don't! Just ignore it. Ignore Bossgodora, ignore Captain Falcon, ignore the Rosettes. You don't wanna interact with the shenanigans, alright, that's cool, we'll respect that. We'll still make posts in the topic but we're not going to whine about being ignored because we're not here for you to pay attention to. BOSSGODORA does not need your approval or disproval to validate his existence.

And here's the really special thing. Like I said, it's not a hard task to snip our antics out and leave any topics you hold sacred pure and whole, just as the fuhrer intended. But when you start interrupting your own posts to tell Captain Falcon to go away, weeeeeell. THEN we have a bit of a problem. We can't very well remove valid posts like that; it'd mess with the topic's continuity, its flow.

I understand that some of you are getting legit annoyed. Others aren't. I understand that you might not want zany antics in your topics. Others do. Might I offer a solution? Instead of derailing the thread further, why not.. say, PM the offending party, like Plas did? That'll get the shenanigans to stop, totes.


Just sayin', bros. I understand some of you got annoyed, and I'm sorry about that. Just keep in mind, it's all in good fun, and there's usually a better way to deal with things than yelling in the topic.

Also adding real fast, imagine if a brand new member wanted to get in on afd fun, so he was the one who changed his name and ran around being stupid on purpose? all of it would have been a harmless joke - all those posts would have been moved to the forum at the end of the day, but if he met the same RECEPTION that I had, with people yelling at him and being legit aggressive towards him, a new member might have felt unwelcome. He might have left.

We're trying to NOT seem like a forum of a very tight-knit clique of people who are rude to newbies and try to push everyone away, so might be a good idea to not be rude to people and not try to push people away. Also, not gonna lie, I'm pretty disappointed that things happened that we had to make this thread in the first place.
