As of tonight's code update, we are no longer allowing avatar uploads, as supposedly the dimension detect function has finally been fixed for remote avatars. (As in you should be able to properly specify dimensions of the image.)

If this turns out not to work for remote avatars, reply here, and I'll end up re-enabling uploads.
