Kirby's Rainbow Resort

Miitomo's is the first mobile application to be published by Nintendo. It is gaming combined with social networking. You get to create your own Mii and communicate with others. It was released in Japan, on March 17, 2016. It became available for other regions, on March 31, 2016. Miitomo beat another application called "Line" to the top of the charts in the Japanese App Store. Miitomo also rose to the top of the free charts in the United States App Store.

Did anyone get Miitomo? What are your opinions about it? I find it to be a very good start for Nintendo because it topped the charts, opened new profit methods, and boosted Nintendo's stocks.

Miitomo is so dumb. I mean, nintendo actually thinks people have friends? Who actually has those?

Not me. I'm not on any social sites except for Miiverse. I have 0 friends in real life. I wish I did though...

KRR is itself a social site, albeit one that is dedicated to Kirby.

Other social sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc., are general interest.

Miitomo ended in 2019 i believe, there's currently a fan ideration that exists. Kaerutomo, all you need is to have installed miitomo previously on android and install the kaerutomo patcher apk. then you're all set to go, i'd also advise joining the kaerutomo discord for updates, patches and other tidbits.

It actually ended in 2018. So not very long at all.

Nintendo’s mobile games are SO depressing to think about because instead of being revolutionary to the mobile game industry they’re the same old tactics of every other mobile game on the market.

Dr. Mario World was shut down a few months ago. Who knows how much longer Animal Crossing Pocket Camp, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Mario Kart Tour will last.

Dragalia Lost is shutting down soonish, so that’s another mobile game gone.

Nintendo decided to cut down on mobile game development in 2020, so once the three remaining games shut down (not counting Pokémon games or any Niantic games), that’s it. No more Nintendo mobile games. They were infamous in the late 2010s for their typical greedy microtransactions and other mobile game clichés, and then everyone forgot about them.

Which game do you think will shut down first? I’m betting on Mario Kart Tour since we’re getting a bunch of its content lazily ported to 8 Deluxe. I feel like Fire Emblem Heroes will be last as it was arguably the most successful of the games, albeit hitting its profitability peak in 2018.
