Thousands and thousands of years ago, I opened a signature shop here under the username "Marx Hat." Feels good to be back! I've improved slightly since the last time I was here.

Here you can ask me to make you an image to put in your signature or use as an avatar! You can also just look at my stuff and give me critique/comments, or ask for tips if you're into, or want to get into sig-making yourself! (Keep in mind I'm not super great, though...)

Why not get yourself a sig to celebrate the Forum being back?

Request Rules & Guidelines:

• One request a month per person.A signature and an avatar together count as one request, of course! I'm not going to make you wait a month to get a matching sig for your avy or vice versa.
• Signatures/Avatars usually take a couple of days, but it can be faster or slower than that.
• You can (and probably should) give me an image to work with, but try to make sure it's a decent size/quality. I prefer images that are already rendered (meaning cut out on a transparent background) or on a simple background. Bonus points if the thing you want me to cut out has outlines. I can cut an image out of a more complex background if needed be, but it'll probably take longer. If it's just too difficult for me, I'll ask you to give me a different image. Sorry!
• You can request a custom size, but keep in mind that it has to be 500 width x 300 height in pixels or less, so sayeth the forum rules.
• You can ask for a specific color scheme, though it might get changed around a little bit if I can't get it to look nice.
• You can ask for specific text. (I'm just as bad at text placement now as I was five years ago, though, hehe.)
• You can ask for other details as well, let me know if you have something in mind and I'll see what I can do. Try not to go too crazy specific though! I need some leeway to mess around a bit.
• I don't make animated gifs.

Oh, hi, an avatar and signature shop? Sounds neat. Do I have to pay anything to get an avatar or signature; it's called a shop after all.

If not, I'd like an avatar with Eliwood from Fire Emblem 7, please. Make sure it's not too big to be used. Since I can only browse this site on a 2DS, I need it to be an image that can be saved to the Nintendo 3DS Camera application, so I can use it.

It's great, perfect even. Only one problem, when I try to save it to the 3DS Camera, it says "this image cannot be saved". So change it so it can.

Well, I don't really know anything about the 3DS camera, or why it can't save the image. Is it the size? The filetype? The site it's hosted on?

Would you be able to post an example of an image you CAN save so I can see?

Hmm, that's really strange. It's the same filetype as the signature you said worked, so I dunno what the deal is. I looked it up and the Nintendo website just says "Note that certain JPEG images can not be displayed or saved" without specifying what or why, so that wasn't very helpful.

Tell you what, I'll keep that image uploaded so if you ever get access to a computer you can try to use it again. I'll keep mulling over it too, and I'll let you know if I think of anything. Sounds good?

I don't really see how making it from scratch would help, the problem seems to be more on your end than mine, and I don't want more work going to waste, you know?

Let me know if it works for you, Gsnail, wanna find out what the problem is if possible.
