Okay so to explain something, it's hard to trace the history of these injokes, or why they became such. In spite of places like "know your meme," the lineage is almost never particularly clear as to when something actually becomes a meme. When does it stop being someone posting a funny picture and graduate to a self-perpetuating idea? The line is so subtle as to be invisible, and to attempt to declare one thing "here" and the other "there" is stupid and self-defeating.
