Nope. (The phrase "desktop background" didn't even appear once in the Help thing) It might be because I have a Notebook and not a real laptop, but still. It seems very asinine to me.
Sadly, you cannot change the background on Windows 7 Starter.

Not my image, but I really like it. I found it on DeviantArt. Don't remember who made it but I can look at it later, considering I favorited it. I'm glad I could have an image I like. I share my computer with my older brother, who only likes scenery as his wallpaper. Thankfully, he likes Kirby too and I don't think he minds this wallpaper. Although, he doesn't like 02...

My desktop actualy changes every 5 minutes because it is on a mode called "slideshow". The computer picks one picture out of the 2138 pictures in one of my folders and uses it as my desktop for 5 minutes.

Watch, everyone's gonna ask why I have 2138 pictures in one folder!
