Cappy quickly hopped out of the way of the stream of fire, letting out a frightened yelp. It seemed Spindow could indeed breath the fire out at him. That was what Cappy was afraid of. Even though Cappy felt a bit of warmth from the flame, it was quickly replaced with the feeling of more coldness. Spindow then proceeded to feed the fire in his "mouth" with more metal as he went on to say how unimpressive Cappy's fighting had been. That really couldn't be helped, though. After all, Cappy didn't have a lot to improvise with in battle and dodging seemed to be a better option than being hit constantly. Spindow then gave him a choice of what to do. All of them seemed to just end in Spindow's victory, though.

"...w-wouldn't that...last one be...k-kicking me w-when I'm d-down...?" said Cappy in response as he shivered from the cold and fear. "...y-you probably...d-don't care about t-that...though..."

It seemed as though Cappy had no chance of winning. His vision was becoming blurred as he was getting colder with each passing second. He was wounded all over, he was tired from all the energy he had spent, and Spindow was in the perfect position to finish him off. Cappy could either go down fighting, or give up right there in order to save himself. His air gun still had some power for at least one last whirlwind, so Cappy decided that he would at least try to fight back. He checked the dial on the side of his gun and saw it was still set to five. That was good. He then flipped the switch on the gun's side to setting two: whirlwind mode. He then aimed the gun at where he thought Spindow was. His vision was blurred, so aiming the shot was difficult. He then pulled the gun's trigger and whirlwind five feet in diameter emerged from the gun's mouth. The recoil from the gun sent Cappy flying backwards into the wall behind him. Given that he already had a bruise back there, this caused him a great deal of pain. Because of this, Cappy started to feign consciousness even more. He wouldn't last much longer, now. Perhaps giving up would have been the better option...

((His arms and the lower part of his body around his legs/feet/shoes/whatever are showing.))

"If you want to start a fight, I'd oblige with pleasure." The other batamon said, seemingly taunting Zeke as he brandished his own sword. Zeke's only reply was to hold both of his hands to his side, and quite suddenly another sword materialized in his other hand, this one smaller and thinner than his first blade. Although Pyro Cappy's glance at it would be brief at best, as the second it appeared both swords began to disintegrate into small cube-like particles that began to converge in a sphere above his head.

"Bastion and Gale Series: Eta." Zeke declared as the sphere of particles began to thin out and form the shape of what appeared to be a spear. "Gáe Bulg, the seventh spear and bane of matter and magic alike, come forth." He said silently as the spear finally formed, and dropped into his right hand. The shaft of the spear was a metallic silver in colour, and had what looked to be blue, glowing lines engraved that spread from both ends of the shaft. The head of the spear was long, and the point was so thin as to be impossible. But perhaps the strangest aspect of the weapon was that that the head seemed to be almost ethereal and implacable; it had an outline that indicated its presence but it was translucent and appeared to be the inverted colour of whatever was visible through it.

The weapon's size indicated that it was meant to be used by someone of human size at least, but Zeke held it with an air of confidence, spinning it above his head to indicate his comfort and proficiency with the weapon despite its size. He shifted it to his right hand, as despite the weapon's size it was incredibly light, being no heavier than a switch taken from a tree. Without a word he clicked his shoes together to activate his thrusters, and flew straight at Pyro Cappy with his spear pointed right at the other batamon's face in an attempt to skewer him.

"His name was Machinist One, the tiger said while keeping his gazed fixed on the towering falls in the distance even though the noises and light show had ceased.

"He was one of my best friends." He continued, avoiding directly answering Deguass' question about the robot's fate. By not confirming or denying anything, Deguass only had his own assumptions to work off of.

Durock went silent for a couple minutes and squinted his eyes. He was peering into the distance, thinking he'd spotted something splashing into the waters. He wasn't certain of course, and it could have been his mind playing tricks on him. Maybe if he had eagle eyes instead of tiger eyes he'd be able to see what it was.

After a bit, he began speaking again, he sounded as if he was losing interest in the conversation. (which he didn't have to begin with.) "I can't say anything about his so-called brother." he said, signifying he had caught the Norpiathian's attempt to imply there was more than one god-bot, but Durock didn't flinch, studder or even act surprised. "I know he exist, I've just never met him."

((There, Deguass got a short post too! Now I don't owe anybody. :D I hid my lava buckets from him too MWAHAHA.. *COUGH*))

The armored kirby seemed to be preparing an attack against Pyro Cappy. Needless to say, Pyro was not intimidated. In fact, he thought it was very wierd. After all, a fight was about to start and this guy was calling out names and throwing his weapons around. It seemed rather unnecessary. Nevertheless, Pyro had to do something quick. As the armored puffball prepared his attack, Pyro rotated his earth sword to hold it with the blade pointing skyward. He kept holding the sword straight upward in preparation for an incoming attack. Suddenly, the armored kirby activated what looked like rocket shoes and used them to try and pierce through Pyro. In hindsight, that seemed a bit unnecessary given how close the kirby was to Pyro. Just the same, Pyro was pushed back against the wall as the spear's head was being forced against the broad side of the earth sword.

Once the impact of the spear had already been issued, Pyro pushed his sword forward in an attempt at pushing the kirby behind the spear away. Pyro slowly inched forward for a bit as the armored kirby continued to force him back. The clash between the two weapons was actually taking a bit of effort on Pyro's part. The other puffball was honestly becoming an irritation for Pyro. All he wanted was to see if he could cause a bit of mayhem, but now he had this fight to deal with. Nevertheless, the fight had to be fought and after all, Pyro enjoyed a bit of destruction. After a few seconds of inching forward, Pyro finally pushed forward with his stubby arms in an attempt to finally push the other kirby away. Hopefully, if that tactic worked, Pyro could prepare to deal some damage of his own.

((Alrighty. Kupo. Listen, you can't just say Pyro-Cappy quickly dodged away. Because that creates some issues, first of all, it's insta dodging, you didn't attempt to think about it at all, as you've clearly neglected your surroundings. Zeke drove him through a wall, meaning debris will be scattered everywhere, you also didn't account for the distance between Zeke and Pyro, which is pretty bad given that they aren't terribly far apart to begin with, and Zeke is sporting a polearm which means he covering that distance with it's reach, this coupled with his speed, means you're going to have to think on this one. I doubt he's getting out unscathed.

Also, IIRC, you asked Kairus there about Zeke's armor, and now you're acting on the information you were given. That's meta-gaming. Which is a no no, it's not really such a huge deal this time though, given that you really could've gathered the same information but simply, I dunno, paying attention to Kairus' post. So, just fix the one thing, and that should be about it.))

((It's not an official match, but you still have to be fair and put thought into things. There's no expiration when it comes to time, so you're given plenty to use for thinking. I was just reminding you not to forget because you have a tendency to focus on one character and forget about another, leaving people hanging with them.

Anyway If you want Pyro Cappy to be taken seriously as a character and a threat. It's extremely important to put thought into everything he does. I can't help you or give you ideas anymore because it would be meta-gaming. So it's all up to you now.))

((Alright, then. Sorry. I've edited my post to avoid metagaming and insta-dodging.
Also, I don't think noticing holes in armor is concidered metagaming since characters could easily see something like that.))

About Me: A little over the top, you know?
The sudden reversal in water flow caught Acheron by surprise as she was sent flipping around like a propeller as she was battered by both streams at once. After struggling to regain control of the situation she finally managed to escape the falls and resume gliding. The falls had proved to make this a laborious endeavor however, with the thorough soaking she had just endured she was carrying far too much water weight to allow her to be airborne for very long. Scanning the area, she spotted a small island in the lake. It would be difficult to get to, but Acheron could make it. What really troubled her though was the new revelation of Torvus' range of abilities, namely water manipulation.

Acheron growled in contempt. "He was never in any danger to begin with. I can't believe I allowed myself to be led to think otherwise. Now look at me." Her skin was tinged gray with the various bruises the rapids had left smashing into her, Not to mention shaking from the cold water still clinging to her like a wet blanket. Worse though was the subtle distortions that had began welling up, Fizzing in and out of reality in no set pattern. Her focus was practically shot with a pounding headache, which only made her bodies screams for sustenance all the more aggravating.

"Why do you keep doing this to yourself?" She asked. "You think you'd have learned to stop trying to help when you always make things worse." That last statement held some sore sentiments especially. Thanks to her good intentions prior, many of her friends and family had died, been killed, suffered debilitating injuries, or gone completely insane just because she tried to help. It was almost like a sick joke how quickly things go south with her involvement. She was just sick of it; why even bother being good if only bad comes out of it?

This line of though was interrupted however as she landed with in a wet heap on the shorelines of the island. She was frankly exhausted and gave in willingly to sleep. With a last flicker Acheron light show shut down as she did also.
--

"Well, not really." Spindow replied to Cappy's inquiry. "I suppose that there might be some kicking involved while you're on the floor but that really it's just about giving you the chance to battle the way I rightfully des- Are you trying to shoot me again?!"

It seems in the time that Spindow was explaining the details of the final option Cappy had already made a move to resume battling, fumbling with the dials of his gun to prepare another assault. Like many times before he predictable raised the gun toward Spindow to fire another of his whirlwind thingys at him. Spindow shook his head in shame before emitting a loud, nasally gutteral snort. Gargling the slosh in his mouth for a second Spindow hocked a large glowing ball of gunk from his mouth and straight into the barrel of the gun as it fired. The Whirlwind inflated the sludge like a massive bubble before it burst like an over inflated balloon, gushing molten steel from it as the sac blasted away in the opposite direction, spraying the 5500 degree smelted metal everywhere in the range of the Cappy's location.

With the intense heat of the steel, it would surely have enough time to severely burn anything that was unlucky enough to come in contact with it for a good long time, and when it does eventual cool in the freezing temperatures it would be hard and brittle, easily capable of being fractured to tiny splinters if someone were to, say for example, deliver a hard enough follow-up blow soon afterwards.

((Spindow's post is totally fine. Spindow had the loogie stored in his mouth the whole time he was talking earlier. Cappy looked at the gun and fiddled with its settings which left him open to attack, then he had to aim the gun at Spindow. That's going to be something that's difficult and take up his time, especially with his vision blurred. Cappy doesn't come across as marksmen skilled enough to quickly compensate for a handicap like that. ))

If you aren't completely certain about something, then read the other person's post over again instead of making the first thing you do be a call out. As the tip of Gáe Bulg impacted with the broad side of Pyro Cappy's earth sword there was a loud and resounding sound similar to the chiming of a large church bell. <"Heh, so that sword is magic, huh?"> Pike Naedle said smugly, leaning back in his chair as he did so. <"Sucks for him."> He said with a grin, and Zeke's determined frown quickly turned into a smirk as he increased the power of the thrust his shoes were emitting. He pushed forward and Gáe Bulg emitted a blinding flash that bathed the entire room in blinding white light, and all that could be heard was the sound of the blade shattering as the spear surged completely through the side of Cappy's sword. The blade seemed to collapse on the point of impact, shards of it floating in the air momentarily as the spear wrought its destruction. Cracks splintered in both directions down the blade, spider-webbing until the whole thing fell apart into tiny shards.

Being as he still had plenty of momentum and no longer had Pyro's blade obstructing his progress, he burst forth with incredible speed and closed the miniscule gap between the spear and Pyro's skin instantaneously. His aim remained true as he went to pierce Pyro Cappy through his central mass, only centimetres between him and the certain doom the spear's shining point entailed. <"We're having some pansy kebab tonight!"> Pike Naedle snickered, standing atop his chair and pointing forth in a fantastical fashion.

As if the recoil from Cappy's gun firing off (even though it was plugged up) wasn't enough to send him skidding back several feet, the following explosion ended up burning him and slamming him into the wall. Strangely enough, though, the burn didn't cure his hypothermia. It just caused him more pain. Not only that, but being slammed into the wall like that added to the pain. Due to the pain he just experienced, Cappy was finally blacking out. He didn't know what he could have done differently. All he knew now was that he had once again lost. He finally slipped into unconsciousness, signifying that Spindow had won.
((I really don't know how I'm going to respond to Kairus' post, by the way. The only way to react would be to have Zeke kill Pyro. Man, I suck at this.-_-))

((Kupo don't be silly, you don't suck. You just don't think. Pyro could easily get around a deadly spear with some rather obvious foregone conclusions when you think about who and what Pyro Cappy is.

I checked your profile. I'm not going to give you any tips, but my suspicions were confirmed that there's little reason you need to be stabbed in the face by a guy who spells 'needle' with an A.))

"I won?" Spindow asked in half disbelief, which quickly was replaced by absolute glee and blatant showboating. "I won! I won! All bow before the ultimate King of Destruction! Behold my Greatness!"

Unfortunately for Spindow, amidst the jagged shards of Ice, thick sheet of frozen sludge, scattered spears of steel, and general collateral damage everywhere else, the only person around to cheer his victory was the small kirby that he broke everything in pursuit of. Even worse he was unconsious.

"What kind of reception is this?" Spindow pouted. "You'd think with the earth shaking racket I caused people would be flocking to me by now. Oh well, you can't win them all yet. Isn't that right Cappy?"

Cappy laid silent against the wall, oblivious to the query no doubt due to being blown up. "Oh right, after this whole ice battle it'd make sense for you to be out cold." he noted with a chuckle at the pun he made. "Alright, enough funny business, let's get you taken care of."

Spindow slid a pool underneath the disposed kirby and slung him up into a secure grip underneath his arm. Together the two left the Ice arena and went straight for the Cafe, after a temporally brief span of time despite feeling like months an Interview was finally going to happen. Again. Eggheads rejoice!

In acceptance to Dusk' request, Zane forced himself to his feet, his hand bracing his ribs as he staggered forward. Though he may have been a mere mortal man, he was certainly extraordinary, as he made his way to Pandora, he knelt down once more, his pistol pressed against her head. "Make it quick, I won't hesitate if you're too slow." He remarked coolly, though Zane would've preferred destroying her now, he respected Dusk's value of life, it was a quality Zane himself no longer had. Or so he believed.

Deguass thought for a moment, based everything he'd been given, M1 himself was fine. Which was relieving, but Durock's use of past tense left things ambiguous. "Well, it's at least comforting to know he is his own man. If you can call him that." Deguass didn't comment on Durock's knowledge of M2's existence, as it seemed there was nothing to add. Rather, a new wrinkle made itself present as Archeron made her landing on the gritty shores of purgatory. Deguass' brow rose, denoting intrigue, he saw no particular need to approach at the moment.
As it seemed Durock were the one nearest to her, though it was likely neither of them would know what to make of this newcomer, probably even less so of what was bound to follow.
